hiii
U seen edgrunners?
Great Vid!
I use your brushes every day!
you should swirl the whole color picker and then pick colors
The Cyberpunk piece actually got the Cyberpunk colors laid down really fittingly!
She looks like she's in the heart of Night City, bathed in the neon lights. I love it.
Right? That came out so cool. I'd love to see Nerdforge give this a try.
It looks like anodized metal! Love it
Oil slick lighting.
she looks like ice spice
you should get people around your studio to make you color swatches and have them greyscale it for you so you dont even know what the colors you are dealing with until the art is done.
If you dont know what to draw, have the people doing the colors give you art prompts and pull it from a hat.
That is such a good idea!
Yes! Yes! Yes! ❤
The cyberpunk piece had to turn out some sort of good because the colors were perfect for the theme 😄
yes!
That would be awesome!
yes! that is a great idea!
I say you should make a part 2! This was really entertaining! 😄
Agreed
Same
@@Narra0002 lol a new "channel from 2 hours ago wants to send you a package lol. Idk why UT allows these p o s to communicate their nonsense on EVERY channel, even my tiny one. I seem to win these things like 12 times a day lol. I hooey no one actually falls for this bs. But I guess they do since nothing is stopping them.

AGREE 👍👍
Agreed!
I found it interesting when you mentioned coloring differently when you color in b&w vs color. TV used to be the same. A lot of black and white TV show sets were all sorts of odd colors so they looked correct in Black and White. Lone rangers mask was purple, the tardis console was light green, the Adams Family interior set was mostly bright colors, pink, yellow, reds.
Cool fun fact!!
Make up for B&W TV presenters and artistes was the same: they looked really bizarre/horrifying in real life.
I remember hearing about this in the behind the scenes of WandaVision-how they went back to the old school way of doing things for the black and white episodes. Like Vision’s makeup was dark blue instead of red because it looked better on camera. It’s just fascinating to hear how they filmed things back then.
Do this again... but next time color it twice. First in the b&w mode. Then before you reveal it, color it again in color the way you normally would. Then convert the b&w and compare them.
This is a great idea!
Ooo this is actually a really good idea!
Or do the colour one first so he's not influenced by the look of the originally black and white one.
yessss
I actually did this a year or two ago without a color pallet! I used the full color spectrum and just made sure it was mixed up, meaning I could have literally any color on my piece. It turned out really cool! It's really cool to see you doing the challenge too!
I did that too, it turned out really cool and had a lot of muted pink with blue
When he turns off the filter and you still are colour blind 😢
Its ok 😭
😂 I'm sorry
Get you some of the "color blind glasses" ...yes those exist now 🤯
@@justinoliver1984 not everyone can afford them ,I should know
@Don't Read My Profile Picture ur not funny
I'd love to see a comparison video of this where someone else makes your pallet, maybe an idea for Insert Art?
Yes I want to see the insert art team try this too
You gotta do this but with a random generated color pallets! I’d love to see what you could make with those
This feels like the old jazzy stuff I used to watch! 😁
This turned out amazing! What a fun way to create a totally unique piece of art!
Hubby and I were overwhelmed with that second one. The coloring reminds us of an oil slick. And hubby said could be her Cyber Punk name Slick lol. Your work is just mind-blowing and beautiful to us. Ty for the great content and for what you do for art community.
At this point, Jazza can single handedly do an art netflix series. I am so bummed that main stream tv veiwing is dead otherwise Jazza would have been the next Art Attack.
You should do this again but use a random color pallete generator and turn your screen to grey screne BEFORE generating it! Makes it so youll truly have no idea what colors youre using until after the art is done! You can also just look up “random color palletes” in grey scale and pick one at random that has the amount of shade diversity that you’re looking for. That way you know youll atleast get the right amount of lights and darks and most likely the color palette will have atleast some visual coherency
Thanks for bringing up the color theory aspect! After seeing a lot of these, I think color theory is the key to a beautiful result.
That second one came out so SIK! Like chrome 😍 idt be cool to see the same tones but changing the colors with completely new colors
I like those challenge a lot because it often times proves that values are more important than the colors themselves
You never fail to create great art.
This was such a fun video, I love when Jazza trys different art techniques. So interesting to see the results 😍
Facts! He takes his skills, talent and knowledge and applies it in n a way that leaves quite a bit of suspense (such as this challenge), not knowing exactly what will happen. SOOO good 😍
I recently got your newest art set and it has some of the best lining pens I’ve ever used in there!!!
Alright who has Bob's account? cuz, he dead🪦 (rest his soul) and I need to know (please)
The Cyberpunk one is mind blowing. The way the colours came together just incredible. Well done sir
My friend in high school saw colours just fine, until she fell out of a tree and hit her head as a kid. Then, she didn't realise that her colour perception was all jumbled until her mum saw her colouring. We would bring colouring books to drama club, to see the wonky things she did. She knew what colours were and supposed to look like, but her colours were VERY different than what everyone else saw. Yellow was green, cream was dark brown, etc. Looked right to her brain 😂
Woaaah
If yellow was green in her mind - how would you know? for example she was drawing a banana (green in her mind) she would still use a yellow pen - as that would also look green to her, therefore looking the same to us.
I don't think she's being very truthful - colourblindness doesn't work this way as far as I'm aware.
@@edmundfredmund she's not colourblind, that's what I specifically stated. It's more than likely a type of acquired (from the head injury) dyschromatopsia.
@@Amarianee but again, how would you know? Read my example, if her drawings were off that would mean she would be picking a different colour pen to what she sees in real life (in her eyes) really hard to word what I'm trying to say haha
Yeah this is total bullshit.
Jazza really likes the baby's "rolls" 🤣
That second piece actually looking even better in color took me by surprise. I can see this art challenge leading some truly inspired pieces. Also, your art work is incredible.
The colours on the second one are so unique, it looks fantastic!
The best way to be 100% surprised is get a random pallet from the internet while your tablet is in grayscale. I can say from personal experience that it’s wild
Totally going to try this!
For anyone wanting to do this, an easy way I can think of doing this is by going into your computer settings, go into colour filters, and there's a few options, one of them being greyscale, the other being greyscale inverted. You can also turn on the short cut keys so that you can turn it on and off as you wish.
The colors on your last peice really remind me of thermal images with the purples, blues and pinks and how it all blended together
The baby picture: Hulk as a child, lol. Never saw anyone do this - how amazing and fun!
What I love about Jazza is that he's just as nice in person as he is online. Got to meet him last year, wish my anxiety wasn't so bad so I could've spoken to him more but he's a lovely person 💙
Yeah having anxiety is really horrible, it feels like I'm drained of everything that makes me me, speechless and without anything to give to those I'm around. Paralyzed and destroyed, I think i need Xanax or something lol, not to mention my severe ocd.
My Favourite Art Challenge! It never gets boring 🌈✨
The cyberpunk one is definitely my favorite ❤
Woah! The cover pink one looks multi chrome. I love it!
Wow, the second one turned out so cool! and you're totally right, colouring in b&w is very different, such an interesting experiment.
I think it somewhat shows why some artists develop a preference for greyscale vs color in their art styles. I personally prefer greyscale for my own art but will do pieces in color. For me though I think it is because I developed my art style with graphite pencils before learning how to use color
The second piece reminds me of an oil slick when the light hits it just right and all the colors appear at once. Turned out awesome.
This is such a cool idea! I love that technology allows us to do these kinds of art challenges and to innovate and create new ways to make art 😊
Okay PLEASE do a part two and three and four and five!!!! I could watch this all day!!
The baby ended up having kind of a street art vibe with the colours. It almost looks spray painted. I like it.
Cyberpunk lady looks like she was dipped in oil. It's a really cool effect
The Tomie example was really cool! It turned out so well. I can't wait to see what you come up with.
You going "Hey! Thank youuuu so much for clicking on this video" made me instalike
Yay. Im sick as heck laying in bed watch RUclips videos and I got a notification for Jazza . I love watching him create art .
Wow!! This was mega cool!! Definitely going to give it a "whirl" :)
The cyberpunk character made my jaw drop! Great job Jazza
2:45 I was gifted your brushes by my mom for Christmas and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying them since! I even challenged myself to complete a piece using only your brush pack, without any familiar favorites. It was new, but a great way to learn what effects the brushes have!
I like when you give little insights into what you do in your spare time. Cyberpunk? We gamin
I finally caught up to the newest videos. Amazing work as always, thank you, jazza
I really like what you did. Because using colors you wouldn't normally, really made this look sooo cool and an original piece. Sooo freakin cool. I hope you try this against but am even bigger more intricate piece
I think there’s something to be said for the style or genre of the piece. In my opinion, this works much better in a sci-fi esque environment as you saw with the example piece. For the most part, more cartoony and present day type things look worse because they’re less susceptible to radical colour palettes and inhuman styling, but realistic, futuristic things receive random and extreme colours really well.
I like how everything on the cyberpunk lady’s appearance looks so abnormal but her hair looks like how you expect it to be. 😆
I love this so much.
The scyberpunk girl is amazing!
there is a keyboard shortcut for switching to and from colorblind mode.
Settings, ease of access, turn on, grayscale.
make sure the short cut is turned on.
Win Ctrl C
I am not a painter, but I love to watch Jazza's videos because I learn so much about composition, color schemes, lights and shadows and use it in my actual work shooting/directing/editing/color grading music videos! Thanks, mate!
Wooaaah, like an oil slick!!!! 😍
THIS! IS! SOOOOOOOOOOO! DOPE !!!!!
Jazza, EVERYTIME, I watch your videos I am totally blown away, EVERYTIME !.... BUT, this one is super special. This was absolutely awesome, please please PLEASE do more of these.
My inner creative painter lives vicariously through you 💓
(Full transparency, I can't even draw stick figures well.)
Thank you for some amazing content, I totally appreciate you brother.
Take care.
~Jonny5🥁
One of my favorite things in the world is how there can be any kind of character, and if you put sunglasses and a jean jacket on them then everyone instantly knows they're cool
It never gets old
lol i can't stop seeing a baby joker bc of the green hair and purple jacket
MORE! More of this. They came out so cool
Every time you turn cyberpunk I get excited.
I bought the brush bundle back in November, immediately lost access to my account, and yesterday Rob was able to help me out. SO Excited, thanks Jazza, and Alysha, and thank you Rob.
I love that the colours are more random in this challenge ^-^ I watched a lot of your colourblind videos, but this is definitely my fav so far
I've seen a few videos of people drawing metallic balloon animals with that rainbow sheen. That's what your cyberpunk piece reminded of. Really awesome.
I love the way the cyberpunk lady turned out.
I think one way to get these to look good is to pick bright colors in the cyberpunk, which then looks like neon light sources
Wow! That second one is great! I love the combination of colors!
the 'cool baby' art drawing looks like a baby hulk. and the cyper punk girl looks awesome! so much so that i wanna paint that colorbline challange thing. thanks Jazza.
Beautiful final piece! Oil spill came to mind when looking at the colors💜💛💚
You don’t need to thank us that we’re clicking on the video, you already know it’s you who is producing the good content that people not even interested in art want to watch.
The cyber lady looks like she's near a neon sign, perfect
Absolutely love your content. I've been watching since the OLDDDD wallpapers.
I did this challenge at the end of last year and it really shocked me! I added a couple neutral colours in my pallet that kind of made the end piece look almost normal but some things were just slightly off. Really fun! I love the result of your second piece :)
Holy shit that was incredible! I have to rewatch just to see how that even happened. Magic!
That second one was phenomenal!
Bro I love that baby and both colored and black and white versions
Omg Jazza. I am a colourblind painter and I was in such a dark place because I kept telling myself my art is shit. This video just gave me so much inspiration.
I love this idea, and great job on it. Just one suggestion that I hope is good enough you'll try it again.
Because you turn the saturation on the monitor down, can you record the screen internally on the computer so you can make a time lapse of the drawing in full color? This could give you, and us, the insight on how to use colors in different ways that we might not be able to due to being stuck in our learned patterns. Would love to see a side-by-side with color and B/W.
I really like the light yellow for secondary light❤❤
The second one turned out so cool
Cool drawing jazza 💖💖💖💖😉
I'd missed seeing Jazza just straight up drawing cool characters. Maybe he should do a character design series? :) awesome video as always
2nd time was definitely the charm.
I just have to say, Jazza, you have definitely inspired me to be brave with my art. To just try and draw something. I recently started watching this and the [INSERT ART] channel and I’m so glad that I did! You’re awesome😁
I think the first baby image could work if you put it in a background where the colours made sense like a neon lit night club or something like that.
I loved the end results, I really hope you do more of these.
3.7k views in 14 minutes!!! HOLY JAZZA I CAN ONLY WISH OF THAT!!! CONGRATS
That's amazing! I love when Jazzy really shows off his skills!
That second art piece was GORGEOUS I would hang that on my wall 🥰
The second one was really amazing to look at, what a wonderful piece😊.
1:14 literally the boss baby 😭I know that’s probably not what he was goin for but it was to easy
This was really really cool. More of this please!
Could try other themes other then cyber punk with much different color palletes , could even try a full scene with a landscape.... see how wild it can get.
That last piece gives major major like heat seeking vibes. Ya know how in footage if you watch something hunting wise, they use thermal cameras? Thats what it gives me vibes too.
That cyberpunk one was so cool!
Gotta say that's a super cool end result there!
that final reveal was amazing!! ❤
Hey Jazza! My name is Ivy and I'm new to your channel (I JUST SUBBED). I've recently started watching your videos, and I must say that I'm absolutely hooked! I just have one question.. why are you so good at everything you do?! You're definitely an inspiration and I appreciate all of your hard work and efforts.
Thanks Jazza!
I know quite a few people that are color blind and this challenge very much an everyday struggle.
Definitely the baby looks better in B&W. But the cyber lady!!!! WHOA!!!! So cool!!!!
If you ever revisit, a good thing you can do is to pick the colors while in black and white and maybe just use a black and white filter in your software
That is a real interesting technique to use in digital art!! Keep the videos & cre8ivity coming!! Til next tyme...keep those cre8ive juices abrewing!!!
