- Minecraft, But We Are All Colorblind... It was really cool to be able to see Minecraft how @GeorgeNotFound does! This was really weird...

This is a Minecraft 1.16 mod that allows us to see with the same colorblindness that @GeorgeNotFound has. It was really interesting to see through @GeorgeNotFound 's eyes and see the game the same way he does. Things were really different and Minecraft looked how I would never have expected it to do. I love doing these type of things with my friends.

For anyone who is confused, pink and teal appear as a light blue or gray since those colors are where Gorge’s green and blue cones meet. Most Trichromats need all 3 cones to be activated to see grey or white, but Gorge only needs 2 to be activated to see grey or white. this is why the diamond armor being a shade of teal (activating the green and blue cones) turned to a light grey.
Do you know how that differs for a tetrachromat?

A very simple way to explain how George could see the filter: Imagine if you use a filter while editing a photo, you do it once, but then add the same filter to the photo again, enhancing the colors. Filter through filter vision, kinda like when you add a lense on top of a lense. Depending on the accuracy of the filter Sapnap and Dream were using, that's how it works

I saw so few differences between the colorblind filter and vanilla minecraft. Red looking so brown was really odd to see, and was the first time I understood why everyone else was freaking out about the colors being off. Until then I was thinking, "It's can't look *that* much different to them, right?"

What almost noone realizes is that while this may be the way George sees everthing, it doesn't mean he perceives it that way. As his world was always pretty yellow, he may see these shades different

I remember watching this video when it came out. Crazy how it’s been 2 years. Being honest, Sapnap was completely new to me at the time and I wasn’t sure if I liked him or not. He was completely foreign. But now I love his content so we’re slaying! I think this was one of the first videos I watched of sappy nappies!

Fun fact, did you know that the cones in your eyes affect the color you see, red, green and blue are the base colors. I assume George’s red cones are not working properly and green cones can only be activated with the help of red cones and a little from the blue cones. So that’s why red-green color blind people see mostly blue and gray scale, with a few muddy or dark colors from the little activation of the green that leads to yellow being common and blues being vibrant.
That was so confusing to read but I think I managed to understand it 😅

For George, my resource pack would make it easier to tell diamonds and iron apart instead of harder. (My resource pack turns diamonds from cyan to white with rainbow sparkle animations)

It breaks my heart that some can't see colors mostly because there are two colors that don't look the same like green and yellow are just a different yellow and purple don't exist. Also red, red is also like non existent for them its a nasty color too. Happy there is even ways for them to see color, color is a wonderful thing.

Blue is so interesting to me, I have normal vision and blue is my favorite color but with that type of colorblindness blue is so vibrant, and pronounced
