I love out of context this song just sounds like someone hesitant to get married before later regretting it when they eventually agreed. In context though... lets just say they "got together" a bit differently than marriage.
@@LinkLaine The original phrase is "Blood is thicker than water", meaning familly ties (Blood) is a lot more valuable. The lyric says "but I prefer drinking water". You can take it two ways. First is symbolic in that there are things more important than just familly, like your loved ones. The second is more literal in the context of the game this takes place in and, well, lets just say a lot more than blood was consumed.
"Oh, a nice-sounding song about love and regret after committing to it fully." *looks up the actual context* *finds out who "mommy" is, what are the train and vehicle about, what's the deal with being one, and all quite actually literal meaning to the lyrics* Man, Mili and ProjectMoon are made for each other.
I listen to Mili because of how pleasant her song is. After learning that she made songs for Project Moon, it got me to play Library of Ruina (I’ve already watched Lobotomy Corporation before learning about that fact, just couldn’t get use to all of the game maintenance). After experiencing _Love Town,_ I can never listen to Mili the same way again…
I do love that this song still holds weight outside the context of LoR, since you can easily interpret it as about the footfalls of a romantic relationship and how it can grow toxic due to internal and external influences (familial/societal pressures, rushing for marriage etc, etc) But as someone who played the game it's still very sad and terrifying due to the characters attached to this song and what happened to them....
MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!!! I think what really breaks my heart about Love Town is while it's true, everyone reverts back to normal at the end of it, Tomerry left the train. They won't go back to normal because they won't be there to be changed back. They entered the library and thus, left the train entirely. Hell, the train probably arrived at it's destination during Love Town's fight. Which means they died Tomerry. They died having forgotten each other, having forgotten their love. It makes me tear up because after nearly two thousand years, they never did get to go on that date Merry wanted. I can't even say they found peace, because what peace was left for them? They're entire being were destroyed and wiped away, leaving behind a sick and twisted version of what they were. This fight hit me hard...
Exactly. They, and several other Love Town people, ended up being a book of completely different beings. So much for "forbid, forgive, forget". Those were only the lucky ones.
At the time I felt I was commiting a mercy in killing them, but in truth we were made to steal away the future of completely innocent lovers. Its easy to justify many of the fights we take in, even others who are forced into the library enter with knowledge of the danger we represent. The people of Lovetown are innocent, and we were nothing more then a tool to funnel them to their death.
@@niko11403 Yyyyeah except no, since Hokma reveals to Angela that everyone we fight in the Library is just a copy while their real bodies are kept in stasis, which is how we can do the re-fights and how Angela could free everyone in the ending.
Oh god, my boyfriend was playing some LoR songs for me before I got far into the game, and I said this song reminded me of Christmas music. I just finished Love Town, and I don’t think anything I said has ever aged this poorly
So after recently discovering Mili, this video gets uploaded, so I take a listen and of course its good, but I start seeing murmurs in the comments about some deeper context, so I look up Love Town, and am promptly introduced to an absolute existential nightmare. I listen to the song again, but this time the existential dread is REAL. At that moment I decide that I NEED ANSWERS, so I look up Library of Ruina, learn about Lobotomy Corporation, watch a shit ton of videos on both, and I have to say, I'm a big fan. So today I come back again for my daily dose of dread and delight, when I notice something, and this might have been obvious to everyone else but it took me a while. There are clearly two different voices at the beginning, but once the song reaches the "we are one" section, the voices are combined and layered for the rest of the song That is until we get to the final section, where they separate again, which corresponds pretty nicely to what happens in the fight when the boss reaches low health. Not to mention how it ends with "Forget". That's some deepest lore. It really is the little things that make a song into a masterpiece.
God yes, this song just drips so much little details like that. My favorite, and relates to your 'deepest lore' bit, is "Inside the train, we walk down the aisle" is just about 10 second before "Seconds later, a new future".
Thanks to this song, exactly how you described it, Im currently playing through Lobotomy Corporation and I'm absolutely loving it, I'm also definitely playing Library of Ruina after too!
@@snowed08I mean, that line is supposed to be Elena convincing Tommy to go through with the procedure so… “But then Mommy said It ain’t family biz Get over it!”
Honestly, more than almost anything, I love how normal this can sound out of context. There are a couple of "wait, what?" moments, but it mostly passes by normally. Kind of like the train itself, until, well, I'm sure you know by now.
That's the same place I found it myself, and it's just profound how impactful their music can be. Probably the first music group that I felt had enough value in each song to follow them and wait with baited breath to see what they release next. Love the music, the message, and the delivery
Since about 6years or so ago I found Mili when playing Deemo, till this day Mili has always been a passion of me and it’s because of Mili I made it to today to be who I am right now. It’s really like grow with something you deeply in love with.
"I know I agreed to this myself" "I wish it was their fault" "Now I regret" "Wish we were dead" "Before we started feeding on each other" I was not ready. I knew something about love town memes, but this whole segment was a lot more horrifying than what I was expecting. A story of love so strong, that even after they became a mesh of inhumane flesh and thoughts mixed together, the moment their half died, they went berserk remembering the love they held for each other.
I saw “berserk mode” the first time I fought Tomerry and got all of my librarians completely obliterated. Then I came back with a different setup, actually staggered them while they charged the Triangle Attack, and managed to kill them while they were staggered, so I didn’t even get to see berserk mode on my second try.
There's something really entertaining about seeing the handful of innocent comments from people who haven't played Ruina yet and seeing a bunch of people who have be all like "LOVE TOWN LOVE TOWN WE DON'T TALK ABOUT LOVE TOWN LMAO"
My favorite part of this song is seeing comments from people who know nothing about Project Moon who are just like, “this song is so innocent yet heartbreaking, the lyrics convey the idea of a toxic relationship between two young lovers so beautifully,” and then without fail all of the replies are from people explaining that the lyrics are completely literal and this song is actually about a flesh train
"Feeding on each other", "The drink I prefer is water". If you think about it, inside the dimensional train, everyone became unconditionally immortal. They had no need for eating, sleeping, or even drinking... Which means, they started to feed on each other out of boredom (Madness?), and once the water ran out, the only liquid available was blood. In other words, if you wanted to drink or eat something inside that hellish interdimensional tram (Even if you don't need to), your only source was other passengers... And there is something else, it was explained that even if everyone was immortal, they still could feel pain, eternally, so... Those devoured people could have been still conscious inside of their devourer's stomaches, even if they were already tiny little pieces of flesh. Library of Ruina took the horror presented back on Lobotomy Corporation to the next level. We don't talk about Love Town.
Playing LOR without knowing about Love Town and what exactly is Tommery was one of the best experiences I've ever had. Love Town is definitely one of the stories from the Project Moon universe that with a few words and scenes manages to be deeper than the entire story of other games, for narratives like this that I love absolutely everything Project Moon releases, they don't show us more than necessary, they show us just enough for us to understand how things happened, the rest is for our mind to think about.
This song here is what got Library of Ruina and Lobotomy Corporation on my radar. I've put off actually buying and playing the game for over a year, but MILI are one of my favorite bands, and the song is really good, so I've been listening to it at least once a week or so for more than a year. After all this time of hearing these lyrics over and over and over and over and over again and thinking of it all symbolically and whatnot, I find out where in the game it plays. All of the comments here were right. None of it a metaphor. Not a single word. I'm not going to talk about Love Town anymore.

I have been both watching and playing video games for many years, and yet this game is special to me. It is not even complete, and yet _Library of Ruina_ has left me more unsettled, disturbed, and terrified than any other video game I have every played. This is coming from someone who is barely fazed by traditional horror and has been exposed to several tragic or violent video game series. And yet I still find myself wanting more. I love games with deep lore, and Project Moon's writing and world-building (both in their games and supplementary works) has made me completely engrossed in their universe. This is a truly deep storyline. And it's not just the story that keeps me engrossed. _Ruina_ also has an excellently dark atmosphere that leaves you expectant of something to go horribly wrong - though that may just be instincts from _Lobotomy Corporation_ carrying over. I may sound like a masochist, and that's fine by me, but I love the feeling that I am witnessing a story that holds nothing back - mystery, disturbing imagery, constant death all around, and moral ambiguity. And Mili's musical contributions to the game are the icing on the cake. Having made what is definitely the most disturbing moment so far even creepier makes me scream in terror and joy all at once. Look, I understand perfectly well that this is not a game for everyone. There are many aspects that might turn someone away from Project Moon's latest work: the gameplay, the long cutscenes, the volatile and unpredictable story, or the relatively "grindy" progression. If you don't like this game, I am totally fine with that. However, as someone who wants to discover the power of storytelling in video games, this game speaks to me. That is why I am writing this. To Project Moon, Mili, and all the translators and voice actors: if you are reading this, thank you for contributing to what may be one of my favorite video games of all time.
I agree wholeheartedly, though I’m a little opposite. I cannot stand most horror games and get very easily spooked, but I do love body horror, human experimentation gone wrong, and so many other things that stem from horror. Lobotomy Corp was something I stumbled into by complete accident but god it was what I had been looking for. An unsettling game with a deep and rich story. I’m not good at it nor will I probably ever be, but that’s not the point. I love the story so much it became a game I recommend peopl at least check out. I didn’t even know they were making a sequel until Mili posted String Theocracy, which I proceeded to go batshit until I got the game. It had even more lore and story about the world than the original and it made me so so happy. Unfortunately, I’m very bad at the game, so I’m very far behind the recent updates but I’ll get there eventually. My curiosity and love for the story is stroger than my bad skills.
@@ezkm1m1x Most horror game are 75% throwing Scary ghost.mp4 at you and 25% unsettling cinematography, It's good to see something that make itself scary by the plot concept itself rather than the special effects.
So, I know one reason I love the story in spite of the horror/gore element is because it is a thickly layered commentary on our society but in a natural, story based way. This is not a story written to teach us a story. It is a story written about a world that mirrors ours in greed and sorrow, just played out without subtlety. Our world is just as cruel, but it's lined with sparkling layers of civility--is what happens in our world any better than district 23? That's why the story effects don't seem excessive for me, any more than a true story of Auschwitz seems excessive. It is simply telling it's story.
For those who don't get the song here's an explanation: *From the game Library of Ruina* (spoilers for a small part of the game) *Tldr:* A lovey-dovey couple hears about a new train said to reach its destination is 10 seconds! They get on and once the doors close, everyone on board is trapped inside for the next 2000 years. The train made everyone immortal, so they won’t die no matter what. They can’t kill themselves, and they no longer need water or food to live! Soon, people begin attacking each other and forming groups within the different train carts. A doctor in the same cart of the couple tricks them into letting her sew them together, the experiment leaving them deformed and insane. Now sewn together, the couple becomes the protectors of their cart, attacking anyone on the train that tries to attack it, and eventually, they start calling the doctor “Mommy”. This is because she made them how they were, and had leadership on their cart. Turns out, the train was part of an experiment. For everyone onboard, 2000 years had passed, but only 10 seconds had passed for everyone outside. Once the experiment was over, everyone on board had their memories wiped and wounds healed, and they left believing they were only on board for those 10 seconds. However, the doctor, or "Mommy", lets the couple out before they can be healed and returned back with everyone else. They instead become a boss you can fight in the game. --------- *Longer explanation:* A couple decides to take a trip on a train said to transport people to their destination in only 10 seconds. Tommy, a man in the couple, is a bit reluctant and nervous to get on but his girlfriend Merry convinces him that it would be fun. They're told that to the outside world it will look like the train took 10 seconds to arrive, but those in the train will feel as though they were in the train for 10 minutes. Soon after entering the train, everyone realizes this isn't the case as days begin to go by and they still haven't arrived. Nobody can get the doors to open and for some reason no one has gotten hungry or thirsty despite how long they've been there. This isolation and lack of feeling slowly drives everyone in the train insane as hundreds of years begin to pass. In order to feel anything, people begin harming themselves and others, only to realize that they cannot die, and even when severing off parts of their body, they retain the feeling of their lost limbs. This means everyone on board is unconditionally immortal, nothing they do will kill them and even if they were cut up, they'd feel every piece of their body despite its separation. A doctor on the train who seems to have helped maintain order on the train tells the couple that people in the other carts of the train will soon come to tear them apart and that an "experiment" would have to be done to stop it from happenning. Tommy, who was scared from the beginning and constantly fainting throughout this experience, is reluctant to go through with it but the doctor and Merry tells him there is no other options, so he eventually agrees. We then see that the doctor had sewn Tommy and Merry together into one giant mutated monster, and tells them that they'll need to stop the other carts from hurting theirs by destroying them first ( and not to worry about the people feeling pain since they'd enjoy the feeling anyways ). Soon, Tommy and Merry are known to be the saviors of their cart, which they now call Love Town, since they saved everyone with their "love" for one another ( them being conjoined ). Eventually Tommy and Merry forget who they were as they've all been on the train for over a thousand years and become known as Tomerry, the doctor being called Mommy since she seemingly knew everything and made Tomerry in the first place. We then find out that the people in the train were all (unfortunately) test subjects of an experiment. While on the train, everyone on board was on a different line of time than those outside. This means that while it looks like the train took 10 seconds to arrive in the real world, anyone inside the train will have to live 2000 years. 10 seconds irl = 2000 years in the train ( kind of like how people in space experience time slower than people on earth ). At the end of it, the people running the experiment run a scan that fixes everyone who tore themselves up or was tortured on the train. They also erased everyones memories so that they won't remember the 2000 years of pain they've experienced, only believing the train ride lasted 10 minutes or so. The doctor knew about this and froze her consciousness so that she would only feel as though she'd spent a week on the train, and tortured the couple on purpose for no real reason. Before arriving, where tommy and merry would've been returned to normal and had their memories erased, but the doctor thought it would be fun to let them leave early, preventing them from healing and having their minds erased. They enter the "library" a place where beings are killed by the player of the game. By them leaving before the train arrived, they are stuck as Tomerry forever and don't retrieve their memories back until they're almost dead, in which Merry calls out for Tommy, confused about all that was going on. --------- *Song explanation in order* Tommy explaining not feeling anything anymore and work needing to be done. This work being stopping people from entering his cart. *LOVE transition:* -Tommy explaining his relationship with Merry and how much he loved her - Merry convincing Tommy to get on the train, which the song described as a fast and furious swan boat - Tommy explaining that despite loving Merry, he didnt want to go through the experiment to be sewn together - The doctor, called Mommy, telling him that there is no choice and to suck it up - Tomerry becoming one and walking through the train breaking people to protect themselves - *Seconds later* symbolizing that despite feeling like 2000 years, they've only been on the train for 10 seconds. - Tommy and Merry regretting because they were fooled into accepting a cruel experiment that "forged up their hearts" and "mixed up their souls" - Blood is thicker but I prefer water is a knod towards how they couldn't eat or drink anything. It could also represent the phrase blood is thicker than water, a phrase known to mean family is more important than other people. This relating to how Merry trusted the doctor ( the doctor representing blood and family since she was known as the Mommy of love town ) over Tommys reluctance to do the experiment ( Tommy representing water since he was just her boyfriend ). She says that blood is thicker but prefers water because she wants to go back to normal with Tommy and doesn't care about the doctor or the cart anymore. - Last is to pretend it didn't happen, which is talking about how at the end of the train ride, everyone gets their memories wiped.

i feel the need to preface this comment by saying i have never played library of ruina. however, i listen to this song like eighty times a day and have for months; something about is so hauntingly beautiful, i can’t pry myself away. i’ve always loved mili, they’re my favorite artist, but something about this song dude. holy shut. i suffer with c-ptsd and, though the entire track has this sort of nauseating lingering feeling, something about it calms me down so much that this is the only song i can listen to when i sleep. i’m blown away. i rarely ever leave youtube comments but i HAVE to here - this shit is insane, keep up the good work mili.
i think you should while it may not have a particular good ending what this game and it's previous installment does, it does with incredible impact, from how it's designed, too the numerous amount of layers and foreshadowing you should really give them a go as the music that mili does goes amazingly well with it's story that it makes the music even better with the context of the games story.
If that fI can definitely second the recommendation of playing(or at least watching someone play/the cutscenes of) the game, since it just heightens the impact of each and every one of Mili's songs for it.
"You're a nice girl, I'm just not ready now" and then you realize it's the middle of the song and it was written by mili so you just prepare for disaster foreshadowed since the first line.
Ikr, i dont play the game and when i heard this song for the first time, the melody was cute but then i cant really face this song at the same way as before
I love how one thing led to another. I was a huge fan of Slay the Spire and was looking for other similar games. I didn't pick up Library of Ruina because i didn't like the artstyle so avoided it for like a year. Eventually i got bored one weekend and tried it out on a whim and i never looked back. I got super goosebumps when the background & music changed when the boss appeared I went to look up the singer and found this video, and eventually her other songs too. Thank you LOR for introducing me to a wonderful singer and an equally great game 😊
This game is not similar to Slay the Spire though. But i guess you realized that already. Also i guess you realizing that this game is part 2. The first part is Lobotomy Corporation. But it's completely different in terms of gameplay. So if you like only card games i won't recommend playing it, unless you are really interested in the game lore.
Indeed that's true, also i didn't play Lobotomy Corp but i did went to get some tldr from reddit after finishing Ruina Currently playing Ring of Pain, but there's not alot of good deckbuilders that could come close to Spire's challenge, and most of them are just clones 😞
@@mirzaizmaname I feel you. I tried Indies’ Lies and Across The Obelisk because people said they were good if I wanted more Slay Ths Spire-like content. I was thoroughly dissappointed, they did not have what made Slay The Spire so charming. One of the biggest things that may surprise others that turned me off for the game is playing cards. In Slay The Spire, picking cards from your hand and selecting them on a enemy feels satisfying and great. You could even turned on an option to make it faster and have more flow with numbered keys. None of the other games feels satisfying to play cards, and I end turns with empty hands not feeling like I did anything at all that turn.
Listening to this song the first time: "This is upsetting in a way I can't describe..." Listening to this song after learning more: *"This is upsetting in a way I won't describe."*
I hope one day in the future Mili’s music is taught in school for how wonderful their music is- how they mastered putting their style into a mix of genre’s and how they make literary art with their music. I’ll always say it with my chest and soul- Mili’s music is beyond top tier

I do love that this song still holds weight outside the context of LoR, since you can easily interpret it as about the footfalls of a romantic relationship and how it can grow toxic due to internal and external influences (familial/societal pressures, rushing for marriage etc, etc)

Good news, though! They're back in Leviathan!
But still as Tomerry.

I’m mad, that’s a good pun but I’m mad
There are clearly two different voices at the beginning, but once the song reaches the "we are one" section, the voices are combined and layered for the rest of the song
That is until we get to the final section, where they separate again, which corresponds pretty nicely to what happens in the fight when the boss reaches low health.

To Project Moon, Mili, and all the translators and voice actors: if you are reading this, thank you for contributing to what may be one of my favorite video games of all time.
yes. I hate horror and I love PM games. they have the lore I'd hoped for.
@@ezkm1m1x Consider that just means it will last long enough to savor and how much sweeter the win will be🙂
So, I know one reason I love the story in spite of the horror/gore element is because it is a thickly layered commentary on our society but in a natural, story based way.

For those who don't get the song here's an explanation:
*From the game Library of Ruina* (spoilers for a small part of the game)
*Tldr:*
A lovey-dovey couple hears about a new train said to reach its destination is 10 seconds!
---------
*Longer explanation:*
A couple decides to take a trip on a train said to transport people to their destination in only 10 seconds.
---------
*Song explanation in order*
Tommy explaining not feeling anything anymore and work needing to be done. This work being stopping people from entering his cart.
*LOVE transition:*
-Tommy explaining his relationship with Merry and how much he loved her
- Merry convincing Tommy to get on the train, which the song described as a fast and furious swan boat
- Tommy explaining that despite loving Merry, he didnt want to go through the experiment to be sewn together
- The doctor, called Mommy, telling him that there is no choice and to suck it up
- Tomerry becoming one and walking through the train breaking people to protect themselves
- *Seconds later* symbolizing that despite feeling like 2000 years, they've only been on the train for 10 seconds.
- Tommy and Merry regretting because they were fooled into accepting a cruel experiment that "forged up their hearts" and "mixed up their souls"
- Blood is thicker but I prefer water is a knod towards how they couldn't eat or drink anything.
Thanks for explain!

Good job P-moon, you successfully broke me mentally.
The fact Tomerry can be tuned so high compared to your strength at the time, doubly so if you do Gaze Office and them first before other Urban Plague upgrades, really sells the nightmare of it all. You really get a taste for just how scary Tomerry must have been to everybody else on the train. It's disturbing, painful, and intense in a way that few other horrors in any medium manage to be.
@@hereniho The biggest thing about Tomerry is the mental impact it has on you. To me, it made me panicked (due to its sheer size), and at the same time terrified, so I couldn't do things properly and got wrecked.
Also, as for others in the train, they all were turned into forms similiar to Tomerry, just weaker.
I suppose Elena had some mercy to Tommy and Merry and decided to make their monsterous form stronger.
I was ALSO filled with rage and sadness, and I felt horrible throughout all of it during the music, but since I was playing on Yesod, which I had a pretty good build for, I managed to kill Tomerry first try and when it suddenly cut to Phase 3 of Yesod Battle I was pumped up and demolished the rest of the reception.

Toughen up
마음 굳게 먹어야 해
Just like the man we expected
우리가 건 기대에 부응하는거야
So when are you gonna take the chance?
그래서 이 기회를 언제 잡을 셈이야?
Let us be one
하나가 되자
We are one
우린 하나야
All for one
모두가 하나를 위해
One for everyone
하나는 모든 이들을 위해
We stick together
함께 붙어 있는 거야
Family is forever
가족은 영원하니까
Inside the train we walked down the aisle
기차 속에서 우린 통로를 따라 걸어왔어
Furthermore
나아가
Our love opened the door
우리의 사랑이 문을 열었지
To a vehicle I’d rather not enter
들어가고 싶지 않은 칸을 향해
Seconds later, a new future
수 초가 지나면, 새로운 미래가 펼쳐져
I know that I agreed to this myself
내가 스스로 내린 결정이란 건 나도 알아
I wish it was their fault
차라리 저들 탓이었으면 나았을 텐데
Now I regret
지금은 후회돼
Wish we were dead
서로의 존재를 갉아먹기 시작하기 전에
Before we started feeding on each other
차라리 죽어버렸다면 얼마나 좋았을까
Blood is thicker
피는 물보다 진하다지만
But the drink I prefer is water
내가 마시고 싶은 건 물인걸
Now that it’s over
모든게 끝난 지금은
(wish we never)
(우리가 처음부터)
Listened to them
그 사람들 말을 듣지 않았으면 하고 생각해
(forged up our hearts)
(우리들의 마음을 쌓아 올리고)
Mixed up our souls
우리의 영혼을 뒤섞지 않았더라면
(let’s pretend)
(애초에 이런 일은)
That it didn’t happen
벌어진 적 없었다고, 모르는 체 하자
Forbid
관두고
Forgive
깔끔히
Forget
잊는거야

I always been listening to this song without having played LOR
I have finished Love Town and when this song started, I was speechless...
Ahhhh, I wanna play it so bad!!!!!1
決めたのは僕自身だってわかってるけど
やつらのせいにしたかったな
後悔してる
って所でいつも泣きそうになる…トマリーほんと不憫すぎて…
Every single song you guys make is amazing, Mili is such a talented group
i feel the need to preface this comment by saying i have never played library of ruina. however, i listen to this song like eighty times a day and have for months; something about is so hauntingly beautiful, i can’t pry myself away. i’ve always loved mili, they’re my favorite artist, but something about this song dude. holy shut. i suffer with c-ptsd and, though the entire track has this sort of nauseating lingering feeling, something about it calms me down so much that this is the only song i can listen to when i sleep. i’m blown away. i rarely ever leave youtube comments but i HAVE to here - this shit is insane, keep up the good work mili.
i think you should while it may not have a particular good ending what this game and it's previous installment does, it does with incredible impact, from how it's designed, too the numerous amount of layers and foreshadowing you should really give them a go as the music that mili does goes amazingly well with it's story that it makes the music even better with the context of the games story.
As person who didn't know about love town and after search those. I'm regret now
Ikr, i dont play the game and when i heard this song for the first time, the melody was cute but then i cant really face this song at the same way as before
Thea Zeressa don’t hide your indulgence
true it amplify the uncomfortable-ness
@@buttercup3030 im not as the same as the doctor😌😌
yes that's me
”血のつながりは濃厚だけど飲むなら水がいいな”
こんな悍ましくも綺麗な歌詞どうやったら思いつくんだ
Can we all forget about love town for a moment
0:40, the lyrics are literally "im da brave boi", dam thats cute lyrics.
yes
"To a vehicle i'd rather not enter"
I felt that on an infinite level, WE DON'T TALK ABOUT IT
I love how one thing led to another. I was a huge fan of Slay the Spire and was looking for other similar games. I didn't pick up Library of Ruina because i didn't like the artstyle so avoided it for like a year.
Eventually i got bored one weekend and tried it out on a whim and i never looked back. I got super goosebumps when the background & music changed when the boss appeared
I went to look up the singer and found this video, and eventually her other songs too.
Indeed that's true, also i didn't play Lobotomy Corp but i did went to get some tldr from reddit after finishing Ruina
Currently playing Ring of Pain, but there's not alot of good deckbuilders that could come close to Spire's challenge, and most of them are just clones 😞
Listening to this song the first time: "This is upsetting in a way I can't describe..."
Listening to this song after learning more: *"This is upsetting in a way I won't describe."*
Woah that's fucking rad. God I love these games
後半の方はゲームやってる人とやってない人では受け取り方が変わってくると思う
Miliを追ってる人の顔には後半の歌詞に疑問符が浮かぶ
ラオルをプレイした人の顔は中盤からずっと死んでる
そんな曲ですねこれは…
その前もあるけど一つになろう当たりからが・・・
I love that drums sounds like a beating of two hearts, unlike other songs with normal ones
about halfway through, it sounds more like a train...
I hope one day in the future Mili’s music is taught in school for how wonderful their music is- how they mastered putting their style into a mix of genre’s and how they make literary art with their music. I’ll always say it with my chest and soul- Mili’s music is beyond top tier
