On Steam some players say that a battle can last up to one hour at times and it's heavily strategy-basd and number-based (like the numbers of the characters/cards etc)... The game itself is not in my comfort zones overall (at least from the surface it looks) and personally I don't prefer games that rely on too much thinking and strategy.
I intend to play Library of Ruina, but still have a problem. I'm 24 days into Lobotomy Corporation and don't feel like spoiling the story for myself. A week ago: 0 alephs and only ever triggered 1st trumpet. A couple days ago: 2 alephs and 3rd trumpet triggered (CENSORED & Silent Orchestra, 3rd warning triggered by Flesh Idol).
Tbh never played the game and this song without context, to me is about: a relationship breaking up between 2 people, one very supportive and open and the other one a very closed, shy and cold person this one being the PoV we follow. Basically this last person is very much in love with the other one but the other person doesnt feel it's reciprocated and those feelings end up draining and suffocating them until they feel necessary to part ways. Its a story about how they grew apart and broke up, she still loves them but is unable to say anything or even try to save the relationship even though for her that other person is her everything.

I ended up checking out Library of Ruina because String Theocracy grabbed my attention, and every single song from it makes me glad that I did so. I haven't gotten up to the boss that this theme is for yet, but I can say that if it's anything like what I had to do to the tune of From A Place of Love, I'm DEFINITELY looking forward to it. Though I imagine this is probably a lot less Cronenberg-y and has more to do with futily fighting for lost honor than whatever Love Town was about.
Yea this fight will definitely kick your ass if you don't pay attention or don't understand the mechanics. Btw it's really nice to see that someone actually bothered to check out this Gem of a game (btw they still have 4 other Mili songs to make until the end of the game)

@@anthonynguyen2661 I bought LobCorp a while ago, and I'm looking at playing it after I manage to get through the rest of Library of Ruina... which I've taken a break from because i made the mistake of focusing on one floor and not building them up evenly. Hitting that particular wall at the very end of the game kinda sapped my motivation to finish. I'll probably go back eventually. Just not yet.

In the game, this is the battle theme for 'Xiao' (thus the Chinese theme). The story goes as she and her husband works for something like a military company and her husband dies while investigating a so-called 'library' where they turn people into 'books'. So, despite the promises they had 'not to take reckless revenge or action when one dies' and also the orders to leave it alone, she leaves the company to get vengeance and retrieve her husband's book. Her co-workers also leave the company to help her in her quest, ending up dead and leaving her alone. The last phase of the battle theme begins... with this song. And in the end, you as the 'librarian', kills her too. But in the end, everyone who turned into a book returned back to human... so happy ending! Except for those dead orphan kids Red Gaze / Vergilius (, ) had... killed by Tomerry.
Although her reputation was trashed by her reckless actions, Xiao has received quite the upgrade now having a E.G.O. of her own, now she should easily be on par with a color when using it.

Deemoから知ってずっと追ってました。その後Lobotomy CorporationにハマってLibrary of Ruinaの発売を楽しみに待っていたらOP曲の提供などが告知されので、本当に本当に嬉しかったです。
MVの内容絡みで色々大変なことになっているというお話は聞きました。この手の件は色々と複雑なので、何をしてもどこかしらから中傷・批判の言葉を投げかけられてしまうことかと思いますが、どうか負けないで活動を続けてください。

I ended up checking out Library of Ruina because String Theocracy grabbed my attention, and every single song from it makes me glad that I did so. I haven't gotten up to the boss that this theme is for yet, but I can say that if it's anything like what I had to do to the tune of From A Place of Love, I'm DEFINITELY looking forward to it. Though I imagine this is probably a lot less Cronenberg-y and has more to do with futily fighting for lost honor than whatever Love Town was about.
Yea this fight will definitely kick your ass if you don't pay attention or don't understand the mechanics.
Btw it's really nice to see that someone actually bothered to check out this Gem of a game (btw they still have 4 other Mili songs to make until the end of the game)

@@anthonynguyen2661 I bought LobCorp a while ago, and I'm looking at playing it after I manage to get through the rest of Library of Ruina... which I've taken a break from because i made the mistake of focusing on one floor and not building them up evenly. Hitting that particular wall at the very end of the game kinda sapped my motivation to finish. I'll probably go back eventually. Just not yet.

図書館にゲストを呼んで、倒して本にして、図書館を成長させていく……みたいなゲームです。ストーリー重いし、グロいシーンもありますけど、それ以上に面白いですよ！

In the game, this is the battle theme for 'Xiao' (thus the Chinese theme).
The story goes as she and her husband works for something like a military company and her husband dies while investigating a so-called 'library' where they turn people into 'books'.
So, despite the promises they had 'not to take reckless revenge or action when one dies' and also the orders to leave it alone, she leaves the company to get vengeance and retrieve her husband's book.
Her co-workers also leave the company to help her in her quest, ending up dead and leaving her alone.
The last phase of the battle theme begins... with this song.
And in the end, you as the 'librarian', kills her too.
But in the end, everyone who turned into a book returned back to human... so happy ending!
Except for those dead orphan kids Red Gaze / Vergilius (, ) had... killed by Tomerry.
Although her reputation was trashed by her reckless actions, Xiao has received quite the upgrade now having a E.G.O. of her own, now she should easily be on par with a color when using it.

I like the various things momocashew brought to mili over the years that were vaguely or all chinese, it played a part in getting me into chinese culture and language. She's very talented for sure

@@veronikatr3980 Far as I remember, yeah. They are. I think it was mentioned in either Liu Association 1 or 2, or in either Xiao's or Lowell's book. Could be wrong though.
@@veronikatr3980 Cecil mentions Xiao's and Lowell's marriage anniversary in the cutscene before Lowell goes into the Library. She also mentions how he wanted to give her a nest migration permit as a gift.
