    Is it okay to use oreillys camshaft position sensor? Or have to get the OEM from the dealership

    I have audi a4 b8 my car engine is shaking and epc light is on . I ran my scanner and it says cylinder 4 misfire . I replaced the plugs and coils but problem remains. You think this sensor could help fix it ?

      this shits a 300 dollar job at max. They must’ve done more than just replacing the cam shaft censor. if that’s all they did, you got overcharged

    I have B9 where would the crank shaft sensor located ?

      No I did not the issue is more towards when I was at idle the car would misfire.

      No it doesn’t it should be plug & play.

      @@TRACINGNENO thanks, I had to change it two times because i got a cheap piece from amazon first. My recommendation to anyone reading, don’t get it from amazon, get Bosch or Duralast. The extra 15 bucks is worth the car starting right.

      A q3 has one around there somewhere just not 100% sure where without seeing the actual car.

      It’s a camshafts position sensor not an oxygen sensor.

      Good question. to be honest during the time of this video the car had an issue where it would almost misfire when at idle. The problem here was whoever on the vehicle previous to me installed a aftermarket sensor from AutoZone or somewhere and It wasn’t reading so it caused misfire. The moment I replaced it with a new Factory sensor from audi it fixed the issue.
