HI, I have an 2017 Audi TT, the car had a Christmas tree in the dashboard, I check for codes and it throws right wheel sensor, so I change both front Wheel speed sensors... After I finished mounting the new wheel speed sensors the car won't start, I press the button and nothing, the dash turns on, the lights, except the windows that do not open... What could be the problem?
Hi, thank you for your video it was really helpful. I do have a question, do you think the codes P0491/0492 could have as root cause this sensors failure?
What if the sensors are working properly amd they are reading something worng in the engine. Changing the sensors would not fix the underlying problem, right?
What should voltages be on the plug to a camshaft position sensor? I have measured voltages on bank 2, intake sensor and it seems that the left wire is ground but two right ones are BOTH about 5 volts. Is this normal? I thought one would be 12v or so.
Yep I had p0016 and timing was jumped on bank 2 Inlet camshaft sprocket. Was 1 tooth out. Major head ache to repair has to remove cat to access covers to retime and replace the top tensioner and guides as well.
Awesome video! Great troubleshooting techniques along with a complete explanation throughout the whole repair. Good videos like this are hard to find!
This video really helps a lot
great vid very well explained
Got a video for the exhaust side sensor locations? Theres 4 on the a6 wuattro 3.0 and cant find a single video showing where theyre at...
Thanks for video.. clear and easy..
This video was very helpful! I checked mine and turns out the voltage is negative and at 4.98. is that normal? Where do you suggest I check next?
You can also switch the sensors left to right on many vehicle to see if the problem follows the part to the other bank
are you testing connector for 5V reference for power ? To know the sensor needs changing ?

P04300 can be that? After going high to 7200rpm the fault came in. Hard start and loose power in driving.
I'm afraid that the timing jumped
I got a p0021 code could it be that sensor I replaced the timing chain kit and now it’s shaking when in idle no misfires
U ever figure out p0021
Did u found out a fix to it. I got a similar problem 0016 that's why I like to know.
Mine wouldn’t come out so I used a knife and it broke my knife… i hate audi’s with a passion now
Are 4.2 have the same location?
Update no they are different
checking this too, I am getting a code for bank 2 camshaft adjustment issue
Im getting this for bank 1, how did you fix it?
Can you please help me where is the camshaft position sensors located in 2009 Audi a4 Quattro 2.0 4 cylinder

Most sensors use a 5 volt reference form a module
Do you have to disconnect battery to change these?
No.
I don’t have a code , but would it be good to just change these out?
nope, not needed
@@winfle thanks
Have you thought about any mods yet?
Anyone have codes P0016, P0012 come up on their vechile before? I hope its not my timing chain

Is this a hard job? I was charged $1890 in labor for this
Wow . I don’t think it’s hard I just looked at the parts on my car look very easy to switch
broo...
