Replacing camshaft position sensor on a 2013 Audi A4 2.0 B8
Is there only one ? Because the engine has 2 camshafts ?
Was wäre der code? P0314?
Is it okay to use oreillys camshaft position sensor? Or have to get the OEM from the dealership
I have audi a4 b8 my car engine is shaking and epc light is on . I ran my scanner and it says cylinder 4 misfire . I replaced the plugs and coils but problem remains. You think this sensor could help fix it ?
Is this labor at a repair shop worth $1890? Thats what I was charged
nigga YOU GOT ROBBED LMFAOOOO
this shits a 300 dollar job at max. They must’ve done more than just replacing the cam shaft censor. if that’s all they did, you got overcharged
is this the same as on a q3
A q3 has one around there somewhere just not 100% sure where without seeing the actual car.
I fixed most of my codes by changing the timing solenoid
Hey by any chance did changing the solenoid fix p0016 and p0018?
Hi I have a question, what number part is and if is working with q3
My apologies I don’t understand your question
Crankshaft Position Sensor
Does the piece have to be relearned?
No it doesn’t it should be plug & play.
@@TRACINGNENO thanks, I had to change it two times because i got a cheap piece from amazon first. My recommendation to anyone reading, don’t get it from amazon, get Bosch or Duralast. The extra 15 bucks is worth the car starting right.
Super helpful
Error code P0016…?
Did you say 2.0 V8?
B
Hey do you know where crankshaft sensor is located in A4 B9??
Have you found it?where is located?
I dont know … where is it located on the a4 b9?
I have B9 where would the crank shaft sensor located ?
If you go check out my other video you’ll see there where it’s located & how to remove it.
Eugenio did that help your car turn on?
Sorry for the late reply but to answer your question no I did not help turn the car on. My cars timing chain was off a tooth , So it caused it not to turn on
Do you think it jumped time at the same time that went bad?
Mines doing this now won't start after I changed it out
Did your car have a hard start that takes a few seconds to start then turn on
No I did not the issue is more towards when I was at idle the car would misfire.
@@TRACINGNENOdid you fix the misfire?
what was the code for that bad sensor?
Good question. to be honest during the time of this video the car had an issue where it would almost misfire when at idle. The problem here was whoever on the vehicle previous to me installed a aftermarket sensor from AutoZone or somewhere and It wasn’t reading so it caused misfire. The moment I replaced it with a new Factory sensor from audi it fixed the issue.
P0016
I have to do this tomorrow to my audi. It's been having trouble starting, and this time it didn't start at all. I had the codes read, and one of them showed crankshaft sensor, I hope this works
Is that bank 1 sensor A
It’s a camshafts position sensor not an oxygen sensor.
This video is something 😁
This video something why because I was trying to show others how to replace a camshaft position sensor on my own car ? Or maybe it’s something because I could do it & you can’t lol ?
How’s it going?!! Enjoyed the video. Have you ever thought about using FollowSM . c o m to increase your subs??
