    I watched all his videos and I bought this game a few days ago and the one thing he doesn't really mention that I noticed in my gameplay and his is that it's much harder to drive in between the lanes in this game than it is in real life with a truck, at least with default steering settings. does anyone know a setting that makes the steering more organic?

    • @dixiemay1996
      @dixiemay1996 2 года назад

      Look in options

    • @VegaVermilionVODS
      @VegaVermilionVODS 2 года назад +1

      I am a fairly new player as well (170 hours) and I use K&M and have used Xbox Controller as well... To be honest both have janky steering at times, Controller is a tad more organic but I am playing with K&M as of right now and have a mod that makes it easier to steer on keyboard but I still have the issue of the truck swerving off lanes but wayyy slower than it used to. just tweak your settings a bunch till you find something that is good for you. You can only tell what you like, as every player has a different way of playing among other things. Tweak the settings you need / want to the way you like them. Now if you own an actual Steering Wheel, i don't honestly know since I have yet to be able to use one due to not owning one as of right now. I think with the wheel its like 100x more organic than Controller and Keyboard Mouse combined though.

    • @Myotradventure
      @Myotradventure  2 года назад +1

      Like Dixie said, look in Options; there is a setting under Gameplay and if you have a gamepad or steering wheel look in Controls. Just start tweaking the steering related settings and see if you can get it to improve.

      The best way to back up doubles is to never get into a situation where you need to back them up, especially US equipment. They're not designed to be backed up more than a few yards.
      Euro trailers have a different design and can be backed up a little easier, but it still takes skill.

    • @Myotradventure
      @Myotradventure  5 месяцев назад

      Backing into that space in order to get turned around would still require a blind-side back, although there is more room to do it. I've done this, but it's better to avoid a blind-side back whenever possible. It's also better to avoid too much backing when you can.

    • @dand3975
      @dand3975 2 года назад

      @@gegre9000 definitely easier in a day cab the truck is shorter so the trailer bends in to tighter spaces. To get the feel of it and make it easy, a single axle day cab and a 48' trailer would be easiest. Don't give up on learning to back, use the cheater mirrors f3 orF4? helps when starting out. Also you can adjust the trucks power mirrors on the doors out further if doing a blind side back. When I blind side back I bend the trailer to the right till I see the back of the trailer in the pasanger window, then pull forward a little partly strengthen out, than back to reverse and slide it back to the dock, like the one on the far end at the WalBert warehouses. Every time you get in a different truck adjust the position of the seat, door mirrors AND the convex spot mirrors. I delivered to WalBert in Paige Arizona yesterday, blind side backed in to that dock on the far end. Nailed it, one try no pull ups, had to get out and look 2 times. Overfloaters cab over KW, and a 53' trailer, zmods 3406 Cat engine.
