      I hope they help somewhat. They are generally pretty "off the cuff" so I usually miss a bunch of things that I think of after the recording is over!

    Hi Dan, I just got back from Port Alberni and saw this waiting! You did a great job explaining some practical situations. I didn’t even know about sliding the trailer wheels so thanks for that! Yes, I’d love to see how you do b trains! Cheers 👍

    G.O.A.L. Drilled into every new driver. Get Out And Look. I enjoyed dragging a 48' split axel flat beds. The real nice ones had dump bags so you could just have the one pivot point.

    Great tips for new drivers dan. I took some advice from this too even though i have 2800 hours on ats. keep up the great work. Denver always laggy for me seems you have some lag too. night time in denver is real bad for lag.

      Thanks Henry! I was really surprised at how bad Denver was regarding lag. I haven't been there in game for quite a while. I won't be making the next tutorial there!

    Before you talked about real life, I figured you were a driver. You do way better job than most I've watched. That's why I enjoy your content. I drove for 16 years, but I don't play the game like that LOL. I do a lot of what I wished I could do if it was real life haha!! Some times I play "by the book," but when you find mods that have 1000 + hp engines, it's really tempting to put the hammer down to let off steam, just because you can. I guess it all depends on my mood that day.

      Hey RB! Glad you are enjoying the videos. Like you, I get to do stuff in this game that I could only have imagined in real life. Every now and the I really let "her fly" too. Nice to get away with it and know you're not spending the next decade in the clink!

    Are you using a realistic mirror FOV mod or just the default mirrors? Just wondering which is more true to life in terms of spacial awareness from in the cab.

    • @danmcnarry
      @danmcnarry  Год назад +1

      Joe, I don't use a mirror mod other than the interior zoom button. It's a little weird to use but it helps you to actually see what's in the mirror once you zero in on it.

    Why American trucker is so much bulker than European's? LOL

    • @fumpdump4529
      @fumpdump4529 Месяц назад +1

      Cabovers are more suited for narrow roads and city driving like you see in Europe. Countries with wide open roads and extensive highway networks tend to get more use out of conventional cabs. Australia is a good example.
