Real life trucking is hard. Misses out on family, vacation, relationships, giving up everything to be on the road without ever returning home. Driving at midnight working 14 hours a day sleeping 8hours the exhaustion. Traffic wrecks cars jumping in front of a speeding truck setting off the camera that goes on driving record dealing with rules trying to make it at a customer after driving long hours only for them to take 3-6 hours on your clock, wasted now you late picking up your next load. Tight spaces
You speak true words, buddy. Being a truck driver today has little or nothing to do with freedom. 30 years on the truck will drive these fairy tales out of your head.
I totally agree cause when I was a little boy I would go on long trips with my dad and he only had a Day cab semi truck luckily with a Great Dane Flatbed trailer to Haul steel Pipe Metal Beams and Sheets.! anyway just going barely state to state or locally with him made me tired just from riding along.! Luckily My Dad was around my age 33 years old back then during the 90’s he used to have a lot of energy for driving stopping at Drop off appointments or getting lunch with me sometimes taking me to Burger 🍔 joints in Utah or Even Taco shops. He’s now in his 60’s and has joint problems just got over type 2 Diabetes and loss weight from covid now I’m Jealous (Joking) 😏 but I always had great memories riding along with him especially in a cabover truck for going out for special loads . 🚛

@dominikz994 thanks, you may have an issue with the mod order.... Jon Ruda's mods tend to have a ton of files and it can be a challenge to get them all loaded in the correct order.... I'd double check you have everything stacked right

What is the reason to have the extra screen on the right side next to your monitor ? I am getting into the ATS game, and i see a lot of people using that
@t-eazy5392 appreciate it, Jon Ruda's mods come with a picture of the mod order; I normally only enable 1 truck at a time which helps cut down on the mod conflicts and drama
I also have a Peterbilt extended with far front axle I can either lower or raise them with a button I'm exploring western Germany the new game I'm playing is called universal truck simulator
@dukeedward5754 about a year so the game had an update where you can adjust the suspension with assigned keys or buttons in the settings.... it's a game changer

@mlgbats436 in the past I've used Logitech and Thrustmaster (some links in the description).... lately I've upgraded to Simagic and a BDH shifter but it took a while to get to that
@Relaxingeffect2685 the keyboard stand I'm currently using came with my Sim Lab P1X rig but if you check some of my older videos you can see I used the same universal tablet holder from Amazon for both my tablet and small keyboard... that setup worked well with the wireless keyboard on the GT Omega stand

His Pete 389 is my favorite, or maybe the Freightshaker; it's hard to say. Pete turns a little tighter...

I use my j-break 2 slow me down and sometimes that doesn't help

You are running the jake brake way to hot you should hit the brakes to slow it down more when it gets to 2000
