- Dodge Charger for 2025+ production model finally revealed. This 2025 Charger will be sold along side the Hornet & Durango as of right now. Dodge is now heading in a very different direction then in the past with monster V8 Hemi options that fit everyones budget. The new age of EV & undersized engines with turbos has begun.
Let me know what you think of Dodges future with the 2025+ Charger & Hornet. We're watching Stellantis completely change up the Dodge brand.

What do you guys think of Dodges Future? Let me know in the comments....
I think Dodge is done
Everybody's future is electric unfortunately
R.I.P. Dodge 😢😢😢😢😢
What future?
I like the look of the new Charger. Looks better than any Tesla. V8's will be a thing in the past.
I think Dodge is making a huge mistake.
100% agree. Lessons will be learned in the next few years
@RTLife Yep you got it brother
@@RTLifeYep can’t wait for Dodge to bring back the V8 😂
@@RTLifeI have to disagree my man when they come out with the awd charger with 540hp and with a simple tune and downpipe you will get 700whp those hurricane ho engines are forged built too!! Stock redeyes will be getting smoked bro
@@cbruno12180 it wont make anymore than a scat without replacing the trans and theres nothing American muscle about a turbo i6
The company will make a killing if they was to put a V8 engine inside
100% agree. I would want one with a V8 under the hood. Hydrogen Hemi or Synthetic option
@@RTLife do you think they’ll ever do it?
doubt it (at least for now). Maybe if sales are bad enough they will figure out something
Some shop will stuff one in there
Agreed 100%
The Dodge Brothers would definitely be pissed if they we're alive and saw this, I bet they're rolling they're heads in they're grave right now.
Got that right
couldn't agree anymore. It's really sad seeing them head down a path they already failed at (80's-90's)
@RTLife Exactly and the Dimalar merger was another mistake as well (considering they killed off the Plymouth brand).
@@RTLifeI'm sorry, if it wasn't for the K-car the Hellcats, 392s, etc wouldn't exist either. Who knows if we'll see new names out the coupe and sedan, the coupe from the picture could be just named "Daytona"..
At this point rip Dodge..
The back looks like a nascar or an I tripping lol
I see that. Does look very nascar - back quarter panel
I love it, I'm waiting for the 4door version and the Big Chrysler version.
I think there is a sedan version of this coming. Look at the size of the back
@@RTLifeWith this and the V8 you mentioned, it would be reminiscent of several American full-size sedans until the 1980s which were offered in both 2-door and 4-door body styles and were also offered with both I6 and V8 engines and both body styles used the same nameplate. Also, the V8 needs to be offered with a supercharger to be a proper American muscle car.
You can talk about the new Charger all you want. Until the dealerships get rid of the old inventory(which they seem to have trouble doing) these new Chargers aren't going to be arriving anytime soon.
I have the 6.4L HEMI, 5500 Cummins, and a Prius, The instant torque from the electric motors are pretty awesome, but you can't beat the characteristics of a V8.
I feel like what we're looking at is a base model version of it. Add a hood scoop and chin spoiler to that front end and it might look pretty dope.
With that said, I don't think that's the EV version. We know that there was a car that was shown some months back with that frame style with a transmission tunnel. This could very well be what they're putting the i6 in.
And I know people are already talking about Hellcat swaps, but a turbo i6 that makes 500hp isn't a bad thing. You're gonna be quick just not have that rumble.I love V8s. But hey, hopefully its not an EV. 🤷🏽♂️
I think you might be right about this being the base model version. Waiting for Dodge to confirm the final power plant for this thing! They've been slow to give updates on the future
agree , widebody , sport look , and will be difrent i hope so , and actual charger base model look like crap...
What are you adding a hood scoop for its a EV lol and even if it’s the inline 6 version how are you adding a hood scoop it has a integrated spoiler in the front of the car it just doesn’t make any sense
It said Daytona on the back. What you are looking at is a high-end 2025 charger model. Dodge fkked up
@@maromyers964 IMO this probably the car's name, just "Daytona" and/or the 4-door is named something else.
Real Facts.🔥🔥🔥🔥
Lessons will be learned!
full ev the twin turbo i6 and the alcohol 426 will be options if you can afford it
I would love to see them come up with a 426. Who knows maybe a synthetic V8 or hydrogen option
We all need to do our part and NOT purchase any EV’s that dodge produces
I like the new body style I think it looks tough
I really think everyone would be all about it if there was a next gen hemi V8 going under the hood. Everyone (myself included) can't get on board with what will be powering it.
I think you hit the nail on the head when you said we would all feel very differently about this new car if it were coming with the V8 muscle we all knew Dodge to represent and love. I really like the design from the outside but without the V8 rumble it just feels like a hollow shell. A souless counterfeit of the american spirit that the muscle car has represented since the 60s.
I have about a dozen special edition mopars I want to chase down the rest of my life and that do embody that american muscle attitude and unless a miracle happens, none of them are going to be post 2023 models. Love the content man!! Cant wait to see more of the Charger and Challenger.
Chrysler needs to keep the HEMI alive. I for one don't care for the lithium batteries. They are not as safe as they should be. With the creepy tendency to spontaneously combust out of the blue sky while in the waiting parking lot and even in the assembly line. The video evidence is available. New battery technology is much needed to save Electric Vehicles. Government mandates may have ruined EVs future because they weren't ready. I do the styling of the new Charger it just needs a proper engine a V8 like a HEMI.
This Charger with a new generation V8 hemi would sell like crazy
That body style will look great it will just need a good bit of mods. But i can see some potential
Sounded like Shane doing the video at the end. Could hear his little footsteps at the end LOL. Such a good helper.
My little helper. He's such an awesome kid.
If you look at a Dodge Avenger from the 1990's, this car could be its successor. It even has a hatchback. As far as the EV version goes, I believe battery technology has to evolve before I would consider owning it.
Looks like it flows better than the remake. The original was very sleek
That Charger with a 426 Hemi would have sold like hotcakes. Just for the older Gen X's like me they'd sell. And then everyone else would jump on. Just a great nostalgic car.
I would buy it. Like you said it would sell like hotcakes, 100% true.
I FEEL YOU BROTHER , LOSING THE V-8 PERIOD IS KILLING ME . JUST WHEN THEY WERE IN THE GAME " STRONG " AND NOW LEAVING IT 🤕💯👍
I was wondering about your thoughts on this, nice video 💯
I've been mixing it up lately with the content. Trying to widen up the audience. Thanks man, I appreciate it
I think it's goofy they waited this long to make a Charger coupe. They could've called the sedans Coronets or something
Dodge could've done better all around. They will learn a lesson when the sales tank in the next couple of years
Well, the future for Dodge RAM could be better. The legendary HEMI is discontinued and the Cummins Diesel emissions scandal is ongoing. For me, RAM's pricing was getting out of hand. Before I bought my 2024 Silverado 2500 High Country 6.6L Duramax, I had a 2019 RAM 1500 Rebel with the 5.7L HEMI. For me, to get a new Rebel with the same options was $82,500, so I got the 2024 High Country for $90,500+$38,500 trade-in value. I love my 2500HD with the 6.6L Duramax and the 10-speed transmission, which I love over the RAM 8-speed. I currently drive my Silverado 2500 HD High Country and a 2022 Audi S7 AWD.
yah the prices just got out of control for these Mopars. They were always pretty high but in the last 3-4 years it's gotten out of control, much better deals out there.
I'm with you on the V8. But I'm willing to see a Hurricane 6 to see how good or bad it is.
I'm curious how the i6 turbo performs. I really don't have an interest selling my Charger or challenger for it though
They better put a big Hemi in everything.
Reminds me of the 82' Dodge Charger. If history repeats, we will see a badass Charger in about 20 years.
Yes, an 100 hp fwd compared to an 500 hp rwd/awd....
I don't know what I'm going to do either 🤷🏾♂
Find a 2023 & garage it!
The box look is trash too me. Reminds me of the 2011-2014 style chargers merged into a 2015-2023 challenger.
I think sales are going to rough esp with the current power options we are seeing.
Now you know how us old school Mopar fans felt when Dodge exchanged the long, low sleek 2 door design of the early 70's model Chargers with the current bulky, bulldoggish design of the current 4 doors.
Ive got mine too, Im good. But this newer design will grow on people, and they will hemi swap them. Its not dead dead, but its the only way to go after the success of this last generation.
R/T Life Friend keep up the great work 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😃😃💪💪💪👍👍👍👍
I don’t think you should group the Durango with the Hornet. They made some badass Durangos with all the Hemi engine options, and you see them everywhere unlike the hornet. I haul cars for a living and I personally haul at least 20/30 Durangos a month and I have yet to move a hornet despite seeing them at storage yards all over. I get that the 2 is all Dodge have to offer for 2024, but I wouldn’t group them together in terms of coolness and number of sales.
The reason I grouped them is that's the only 2024 models they have to sell. I love the Durango - but that's really the only option people have. No one is buying a Hornet
I love the design, and to finally have a 2 door charger after all these years is fantastic. However, abandoning ice altogether is a huge mistake. I'd love to see a redesigned v8, but I think the most we can hope for is a turbo i6.
Mopar is about muscle cars I don't like any of this going on even if it's a 6 cylinder twin turbo that motor belongs in Mazdas not a charger
Sad that the only v8 moving forward will be the Mustang. Dodge went from killing the game to not in it.
Exactly mate
@@RTLifeExactly mate
This isn’t the first time mopar stopped making v8s. in the 80s and 90s they didn’t have a v8 powered sedans or coupes. Then they came back when the 4 door charger came back.
Yeah the Daytona 80s commercial run which put them in purgatory for 30yrs..history repeats itself smh
Totally agree! Great video!
The next few years a lot of lessons will be learned. It will come at the expense of Dodges success though.
Also keep mind aside from Tesla Ev cars don’t really sell that well
I mostly agree with you as far as the new Charger goes except for the very front which i think is too small of a slit for the headlight area and I HATE the symbol.
The v-8 going away has to come at some point but just not as hard as they are taking it.
Been a mopar kat all my life.
That’s what irks me is that small slit. The concept was great except for lack of V8
That car looks great. And a fully forged cross bolted 4 bolt main Hurricane will be fast. 500+ horsepower? Why complain.
Near future:
And if I know Mopar like I do, that HO ENGINE is called a Category3…..hurricanes can get up to cat4, cat5.
Down the line:
The HEMI returns
If we can get a low output i6 at the price of an ecoboost, that might be a winner? The exhaust from the hurricane has sounded like crap in other models though. That needs to change!
You’re absolutely right and I feel the same way.
Man I agree with you 100% on feeling abandoned by Dodge. In January of 2022 when they announced the party was over, it was like a gut punch. I'm still bitter about it.
Looks like a Kia
I agree the styling is a start, looks like a two door, that’s a plus. As a side note I watched the e formula One race. Well at least if they had engines a boring race would still be entertaining.
it has potential esp/ with a V8 under the hood
All the reason to take good care of the Hemis you own
I will continue to baby mine.
V84life
Looks real close to the concept that was shown before the Daimler merger in the mid late 90’s but definitely needs at least one v8 option to keep sales up
This car looks exactly the same as my 1994 Eagle Vision TSI
I just wish the Dodge Challenger gets a worthy 2 door successor and bring back the Coronet as a 4 door option for those 4 door Charger enthusiasts.
I love it. Just think ,a modern Dodge that is also fast. Looks great to me. Can’t wait to get my order in.
If it had a hemi in it would’ve sold like hotcakes
Exactly. I know I'd want one with a V8 option
One plus of the I6 Turbo is that they can fit much wider tires without a widebody kit. I wonder what that sounds like?
It's over unfortunately 😕. Your spot on.
Id like to see dodge bring back the monaco. Give us a really big car, a comfort ride with a V8 engine.
if it had a dodge emblem in the front grille that would make it look better then the triangle emblem
I think people just talk to talk it always happens when a new change has been made to certain cars. People don’t understand it’s just all hype and at the end that’s start liking the new change and that’s just the sneak peek wait till they release the SRT version!
look if its electric its a dub
"They just gotta get a v8 in it."
Period. Until then nothing else matters.
Styling Looks nice to me, i just wish the lights in the front was bigger.i know the inline 6 has its pros but i dont want to leave the v8s.
Might look better with a lip lowered a bit and if it is real they might be working on some type of widebody
Oh I almost forgot, see the headlines of all the EV's stuck at the charging stations and not able to charge in the cold? Bwahahaha another good video to put out. Eff those EV's.
hahahaha - I'm loving it! All this EV nonsense is already falling apart. Lessons are being learned
How much power is your 5.7 charger making?
Mann I was ready to goooooo💯😂😂😂
What do you think of the charger? Are you grabbing one?
I love the design of the new Charger. The R wing and tail end look beautiful. If they put the inline 6 in it and pair that with AWD, I'm game. I would have liked to have a V8 this time around but I'm definitely NOT going EV anytime soon.
I'm really holding out hope that they're just rebranding and setting the stage for a new V8 counterpart to the hemi. They've gotta know where the EV-only route would take them, they can't be that dumb.
You don't want an AWD. And they are that stupid
@@michaela6147 ignorance is bliss, I guess
Man if they could just change the taillights back to the concept I think it would be fine.
"I love having a V8". The thing you don't realize is that your neighbors don't.
It’s a pre-production car. It’s gonna change
Dont bring that to the drag race. This is killing drag racing. I wanna hear full v8 + power!
looks like front designed by team challenger and b pillar back looks like it was designed by Renault
I sold my charger, went corvette
Nothing compares to the sound of a Hemi when you get on the gas, I’ve always been mopar or no car but I can’t do EV, gotta have a v8 for me plus I like working on my own car, can’t do that with EV
Nothing but V8's? Sheesh, I'd hate to see your gas bill. 😄😄
When a company looses its soul well, that's it. Game over.
I think you're right. It looks cool but needs a V8 for sure 😀
wth the front looks like the back of a kia....
R.I.P. Dodge 🪦🥀
They should be calling this a challenger
I think they are changing up, I think they are now going to go gas with the charger
It remind me of the police car in robocop
Mopar owners might have to consider either going LS or Ford
I agree
I like the styling
IMO better than the mustang
Sort of has a r34 Nissan gtr look and it looks like a retro/ modern day challenger
If the interior is nice and they offer awd versions with ice I may get one
Also if that hurricane is as durable or close to the BMW S58 potential , it will be a home run.
But I guess by the end of the year we’ll see if they screw up
If Dodge does not put a V8 into this car down the line it's a wrap for this company and there brotherhood , because of there european Stellantis control now !!!🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️👎👎👎👎
Without the Hemi, they really don't have a brand. They've already been down this road before - didn't workout very good
Need a longer hood and trunk
i think the dodge in the pictures is the base model
In My opinion,I think the new production car looks kinda ugly I’m definitely a V8 Hellcat-Scatpack person.I don’t like to see vacuum cleaner dodge’s on the road!
It's going to be so cringy watching people show up to meets with that vacuum sounding thing!
@@RTLifeYea..
Looks like a hatchback to me
The new Charger tail looks alright, but the front end looks like a 1990 VW Corrado. It's also missing a clutch pedal, two tailpipes, and a HEMI.
Stellantis globalism is destroying Dodge's American muscle.
I dont care if I'm called a ludite, but I wont apologize for the disdain I have for this whole EV thing. Just because they can, doesn’t mean they should.
The whole EV is bullshit. Governments basically forcing companies to produce them, giving benefits etc. We're living in a messed up world man.
@@RTLife
You're damn right.
For some reason I don't think that the reveal is an EV. I think there will be two versions of the Daytona. An EV and I6 version of the charger. What was revealed is the I6 I think lol.
Hmm... they said the same thing about Daimler...
At least I was excited about the styling of the Charger Banshee. This production model doesn't even come close to what they've been bringing to auto shows and showing off all over the place. I hate the look of the production model, and without a hemi I think Dodge is going to wither away.
The real question here is whose going to be the first person to 426 swap the new 2025 charger
You are right on. The EV market is dying and they are going to introduce one??????
has to be with a v8 cause we knw how it works and sounds and how to fix it but the design looks ok almost look like tht car frm back to the future 2
I saw this earlier than most people, but to me I have mixed feelings for for it. But they did stated that this car is the ev trim from what most sources acknowledged saying the daytona and srt trims will be ev cars while basic models and possibly rt will be the inline 6 and the ugly r wing won't be there. If that's the case don't be surprised alot of people are gonna build their own hemis and hellcat the crap of this car
I'm never buying into this EV muscle car! Lol I'm sorry but I'm into the classic dodge cars with the 440 big block.
People want something to mod and tune so there's that always bigger better and faster out there around any corner and going EV everyone is limited to what their able to do mod wise
Do you think dodge will use this new EV platform to enter back into NASCAR?.. but with a race engine, of course.
Would like to see a munual version but thats far fetched and unrealistic but realisically I want to see a H/O hurricane bolted up to a hp90 trans in a new charger tuning potential would be insane as far as hp per dollar
If they go ahead with the Battery Charger I'm done.
