- Dodge Challenger SRT392 in Chicago "UnknownDriver762" dares cops/police to chase after him. He continues to bait police into chases & leave them in the dust. The SRT 392 has 485hp which is plenty of power to create seperation from police which is typically in a V6 with around 300hp. Chicago police seem to not care about this UnknownDriver anymore letting him rip up the streets & return home safely. Scatpack 392 or SRT 392 or Hellcat vs police in chase! Many believe this is a Hellcat running from police because of the SRT dash & gauges. That SRT dash is different then the 392 Scatpack 180 speedo.

Was going to say eventually he'd end without an exit messing around in town in heavy traffic. Or eventually make an error causing an innocent bystander some kind of harm or worse. Im surprised how many chase videos are on RUclips, most of them should not be engaging pursuits. Not worth a potentially fatal mistake for traffic violations.

Just because one black charger gets away does not justify Arkansas use of deadly force on people taking $50 from a dollar general, killing a woman and two kids didn't even make them flinch or reconsider their tactics.
@@veritassyfer1185 haha, activist b.s. and normally I would agree ... however, I was an enlisted soldier and I cannot say that killing someone over traffic violations is prudent or justified. There are even cases of ASP pitting a pregnant woman who initiated her hazards and proceeded at 15 mph to the next exit so she could get somewhere she feels safe, something that is perfectly legal to do in the state and that she was advised to do, however ASP still pitted her.
Likewise, I have noticed a startling uptick in regular citizens stating they are fearful when pulled over by police, these are people who have no warrants out and have never been before a judge for any reason, who are telling me they are so afraid of being mistreated they also consider running if they are ever pulled over.
There is a noticable change in the aire around Law Enforcement and what the civilian population perceives of them, and it is not due only to the actions of the civilians.
There are more than enough videos showing police using an unjustified amount of force in situations that no amount of violence is justified, and to say that just giving the victims a day in court is enough is a sad cope, there really does need to be change to policing policy. Yes, in violent probe areas there should be a measure for measure approach, and even beyond measure, there should probably be overwhelming force in resistance to violent crime as history proves that overwhelming force is the only way to curb further violence, but the vast majority of humanity is not criminal and the police do not need to act as though every interaction they initiate has to be turned violent. They need to act as though it is possible, but we see every day that police use blatant escalation tactics all the time, if you want to ignore that well, I cannot stop you. I would hope you wake up before everyone and everything we know is destroyed or enslaved.

Mad respect to the officers not even bothering to give chase. They actually realize the best thing to do is just not give the dude what he wants, a chase. It'll just be dangerous for everyone if they did. I think they're just hoping he loses interest in this behaviour by this point. Sure is entertaining for me though.
I'm from Chicago. I live outside the city now though. But a few years ago, some of the laws changed. One of them stating that cops shouldn't engage in high speed chases. If you look at the video, you'll notice that the cops turn on their lights but dont actively give chase after the guy runs off.
I'm not saying they can catch him in those SUVs but they're also not really trying either. That's why he keeps fucking with them. Lol

@@RTLife There's a lot of regulations that were put in place when the last mayor was in office. The current governor also has a lot of dumb ass laws in place as well. Cops engaging in foot pursuits was straight up banned in the city. They claim they're to protect law enforcement and bystanders but in many ways they benefit those who are looking to break the law. There used to be "decent" parts of the city but now the whole damn thing is shitshow.

The Chicago Police Department's written policy says every pursuit must meet a balancing test: "The necessity to immediately apprehend the fleeing suspect outweighs the level of inherent danger created by a motor vehicle pursuit."
In other words, if there is a chance of civilian harm= no chase. Similar to New York, actually.
NYPD doesn't listen to that though. They're rogue as all hell

Yeah this is true legally on paper. However I live in NYS, upstate, north of Albany. I can tell you, they don't really follow this. Not saying a lawyer couldn't work some magic if they did manage to reacquire and catch you. But I've "heard stories" about a few chases where the Troopers never let off even when the "suspect" was out of sight, so far out of sight in fact they may have even managed to pull off and watch the parade of troopers scream by somewhere around 120-140mph. Also just want to add this suspect wasn't wanted for anything before the chase began, just some light speeding up around 170mph.

It's a matter of time before they're caught.. Unless they crash. Some officer will eventually use stop sticks or a pit if they are not on an interstate. If they tried this in Arkansas. They would likely be caught because they don't have rules where officers have to break off chases due to high speeds or heavy traffic. I recently watched a video where the Arkansas Police chased down a similar car with their Chargers at speeds over 130 mph. They don't give up or call off chases. The person driving this Challenger is an idiot endangering families. If he's as fast as he thinks he is. Take it to a dragstrip or road course. The Chicago police are likely backing off in order not to create a major accident. I'm not sure what Illinois law is, but in many states the police use a felony stop with guns drawn. Then felony charges.
If the police know he's going to run anyway, it's better to let it go than a engage in a pursuit which will endanger more lives. He'll slip up eventually and they'll get him. They're probably building a case on him right now

Exactly. The dept probably has a file on this vehicle, Every time it's spotted it's reported. Not sure about the laws in Chicago or Illinois but each incident Could be a Felony? They are having fun now but will probably lose their license possibly for life due to endangering the public? And the Prison sentence and insurance rates won't be pretty either. A True Gambler knows WHEN to walk away? Sell the car out of state and walk away.

It’s not because they can’t catch him, it’s because the pursuit policy says you can’t pursue traffic offenses. What will happen is he will slam into someone at 115 mph and then they won’t have to deal with him any more. I just got one of the last call 392 scat pack, widebody chargers. This thing is so damn fun. I don’t film or taunt the police, but they have to catch me. I respect cops, and the hard work they do, but they gotta earn it and catch up to me first.

That explains why I got the dirtiest look from this Cop when I drove my Challenger to Chicago. I was sitting in my car at the gas station, and this cop walks by my car and gives me this angry, disgusted look. All I said was, "How are you doing.

Mind you, I’m one of those who think things like takeovers are stupid and dangerous, but this guy and his content are beyond incredible! This guy should be a national F’ing hero. Playing Dukes of Hazzard in the middle of a giant city takes balls of steel and expert driving ability, and up to this point he’s had it all going for him.
