I’m 14 years old and I wanted to work on my abs because I’ve never really gotten rid of my little pudge and jiu jitsu doesn’t really help with it as of now. Hope this helps for anyone wanting to do this exercise every day! Day 1: My abdominal muscles are screaming in agony and I had to take multiple breaks after this exercise. Seeing Lena’s getting back in shape video really inspires me to keep continuing ❤️

My massage therapist has been telling me for years to do yoga but I’ve been busy and haven’t found any good videos until I found Lena’s videos😍I went back for a massage and my therapist said my hip movement has improved greatly😄 I will continue to follow Lena and use her videos to better myself, I hope everyone is able to as well😊😊💞

This workout worked in 5 days for me! After surgery I had no more abdo and looked for some exercises to do in order to rebuild muscles. This works, I have super nice flat belly now! And before it was looking like an empty bag. Supe recommended, to do every day!

Hi Malu ❤ I really appreciate you being here and working out with me. Well... I think when you feel pain, that's your body telling you to maybe do back off a little. Modify the workout by doing easier versions or simply go gentle with it. It's not about "no pain no gain"... The truth is really "no pain no injury". Always listen to your body 😊❤

lunaa !! Well i weighted before and after and i lost 1 kilo.. i dont feel like i got much skinnier but i def see some differents when i wear jeans or skirts!
Day 1:✅kept taking breaks this was very difficult to do, almost quit did not do the cherry bomb since my shirt kept rolling up and it was uncomfortable Day 2:✅ took less breaks, Russian twists burn a lot, I was doing the cork screw wrong. Still burns but at least it hurts less. Day 3:✅ not as much as a burn, it’s still is there though! The knee tuck crunches burn A LOT though Day 4:✅ the criss-cross mountain climbers are the worst, I’m surprised I made it to day 4 lol. I’m doing multiple workouts and doing intermittent fasting so if I get very good results it’s not only from this Day 5:✅ crunches are way easier to do compared to my beginning, I can’t exactly tell but I think my stomach looks slimmer, I’m doing intermittent fasting and other workouts Day 6: ✅ I almost finished it but for some reason got bored Day 7: ✅ results. Hi Lena! I'm on the 4 week workout. Thanks for the videos! Just a few questions: First, in the Russian twist, I feel the pressure on my knees. Is that okay? I think it indicates incorrect posture. Second, I can't keep my back straight in the downward dog. Any suggested exercises to work up to that? Third, Can't sit up yet for the cherry bomb. I sit up with a sudden pressure in my lower back and neck, kind of like a bounce. How to work up to do this the correct way? It'd be a great help if you could answer these!
Hey! Thanks for joining the 4 week Hourglass Program! So to answer your questions... I would suggest that you start with the easier version of the Russian Twist. And if you still feel pressure on your knees while doing that one, I would skip it all together and replace the exercise with something you feel comfortable doing (criss cross crunch, accordion crunch, etc). Same with the cherry bomb. It's a slightly advanced move and I would skip it all together if your body is telling you its not up for it. In regards to down dog, usually, when you start doing a new movement, your body will slowly start adjusting to it (Davis's Law) over time from simply just repeating the movement. It's very difficult to provide a concrete answer without being there with you in person. My best advice is to always listen to your body... do everything gently and never push too far, too hard, too fast (and get injured). You mean a 6-pack? For most people, no... but it's hard to say because everyone responds to exercise stimuli differently. Maybe just pay attention to how your body reacts and make decisions accordingly.
