Thank you! I'm just starting out leather making as a hobby and gotten a Cricut to help with stencils and stuff. Glad that you showed me what else I can do.
I got a Cricut Maker as a birthday present last week (with the essentials bundle) & yeah, guess what I've been doing when I'm not working, etc. Yep. So, thank you for sharing your knowledge!
I get it from a variety of places! Tandy leather is a good one as they have stores across North America. Canada: OA Leather Supply, Hand and Sew Leather USA: Weaver Leather, District Leather, Acadia Leather, Springfield Leather, Maverick Leather
Wow, still horrible how the cricut cuts out the letters in leather. I'll just do it myself. A lot of money for mediocre results. I'd rather buy a $5000 laser.
Up to what thickness can this machine cut leather?
That was very helpful thanks, I was happy to subscribe and support. I haven’t used my cricut yet but I’m getting there …
These are so cool! Thank you!

@@SpringbokCraftCo where I can buy
I love it.
What thickness of leather will it cut?
Hmmmm I have a Graphtec, I will definitely look into cutting leather patches.
Thanks for this! Nice tips.
nice!
Thanks!
What type of dye did you use in the marker?
Whats the thickest leather you have cut on the cricut ? I like to work on veg tan .
i've cut 7-8 oz. It takes about 10 passes though.
Hi, can the cricut engrave on leather?
Which camera/lens do you use???
Do you need a different blade to cut leather in the cricut?
Great info, and I like your personality - good luck to you, I hope your business thrives :)
Thank you for your kind words!
Amazing thanks
What thickness is the leather? Good luck to you
Can you explain what you use a 3D printer for with the Cricut? I missed it.
bahahahaha loved it. by the way, did you use a backing on #2?

Enjoy! It's a lot of fun!
This is very helpful, what's the pen you use for the packaging? Keep that personality
Just the generic Cricut Black pen that comes with the machine :) Thank you :)
Very nice! Just one thought: apart from cutting thick leather, everything else can be done in the Explore too, which is much cheaper.
Absolutely. Great point!
What leather and marker do you use?
I'm using 5-6 oz vegetable tanned leather (see the description to see leather suppliers) and I'm using a sharpie.
@@SpringbokCraftCo That last big marker you used was a sharpie? That you used with the stencil? Does it run eventually or bleed at all?
What did you put on the leather before you cut it out?
I just dampen the leather a bit with water
Was that a one time use stencil?
it was just regular vinyl!
How thick of leather can it actually cut out?
I wouldn't go much more than 6 or 7 oz.
Where do you source your leather?
I get it from a variety of places! Tandy leather is a good one as they have stores across North America.
Canada: OA Leather Supply, Hand and Sew Leather
USA: Weaver Leather, District Leather, Acadia Leather, Springfield Leather, Maverick Leather
With a transfer tape (or contact paper) it would be easier to stick that stencil onto the leather. Nice job, though!
Great tip!
interesting but the beginning was annoying

$5,000? Go ahead.
