thank you so much for watching my video! comment below your favorite memory of this show, and i'll be sure to take a look! and make sure to check out CODA, an action short film, coming this august 26th :-)
yes & this batman show premiered during 3rd anniversary of attacks of september 11 during september of 2004 & this batman show is about to turn 20 years old & is about to be 23rd anniversary of attacks of september 11 & I loved watching this batman show 1 of these great batman shows nice & great
Every time I hear Batman, I think of this show. This was my first real impression of him and I may be biased because of it. But u beautifully defined him as the modern take that is a new different take than the older ones, emphasizing his gadgets. I remember every episode in the first season being about how he uses them burnt in my brain, as a main characteristic of him as one of the main parts, beautiful. Thank you for bringing some attention to this show
I watched the Battinson movie in the opening day. It made me feel like a child again. Strong memories tied to this show which will forever be my favorite interpretation of Batman. It was beautiful to feel that joy again!
Hands down without a question The Batman 2004 is the coolest and most sauciest version of the character ever created I also love how he throws quips during fights or when he is about to defeat a villain he will finish them off with a Quip lol Rino Romano Batman is right up there with Conroy for me since I grew up with him.
Its so great seeing people show respect this show deserves. I grew up with the animated series and I love that show. I was basically an adult when this show started but I still got into it because I saw the love of the character in the show
Finally the show getting some deserved attention! Remember loving it as a kid, and Batman Vs Dracula? Legendary. Vampire Joker. Enough said. Really upset u didn't talk about it, guess I'll have to wait for that video ;P But seriously I think the reason why it doesnt get a lot of attention is simply that the kids who loved it have been a bit too young to really bring on the praise, and its been overshadowed by TAS. Hopefully now tho, ala the Prequels, it'll start to come back into the public consciousness bc of nostalgia (also the show was actual quality unlike the prequels), as I think it really deserves another look. Might actually rewatch the show now, I got a feeling it'll hold up! Keep up the great work my man! Cheers!
I was too young for BTAS, so this was kind of my first interaction with the Batman character. I still like the dark hyper-cartoonish asthaetics. The show managed to adapt elements from The Killing Joke for children and succeed. It has my favourite version of Clayface in Ethan Bennett. Yet despite the punkrock revamp, Batman isn't too moody or brooding, rather upbeat and hopeful. Like the video mentioned, this version is less a brawler and more like a vampire in the night, giving the viewer the right sense of Bruce having underwent ninja training. I love the show and especially the season 1 opening theme
i rewatched this show back in march and loved it definitely my favorite batman show of the animated cartoons. everything was so unique and original but still stayed close to batman and it really gave the detective feel and personality batman had back in the first comics. the theme song to this always gave me the chills too and hyped me up for what was to come this show is also the series that gave me a mental image of penguin when i hear "penguin" in reference to batman tom kennys version is the first that comes to mind
I like how they did the b and c list villains. Like the joker, penguin, and cat woman aren’t too outstanding, but characters like black mask and firefly are pumped up to 10. Or the Dave episode where a computer puts the entire city in fear and almost reveals the Batman identity to Gotham. Not to mention the justice league episodes where Batman and a hero have to fight the other hero’s villain and Batman’s villain.
I’m so glad that people are looking at this show more then ever now this show is amazing it and has one of the most greatest op every well the season one op not trying to say the season for opening is bad but I just prefer season one since it’s so fucking bad ass

5:33 This right here is why I'm basically building a collection of cartoon shows from back in the day so I'll never forget how great cartoon shows used to be.
Loved the video. I've never seen the show, I grew up with the 90s animated series but I just recently went back and watched Spectacular Spider-Man and loved it so I think I need to go back and watch this show now.
What’s also cool about this is that some of the writers that worked on Spectacular worked on this. So if you liked Spectacular, I think you’ll like this a lot:)
It's not necessarily revisioning tainted with nostalgia. It's (re)viewing it with HD - High Depth - glasses. Proof that life worked its way through you.
Been on a DC animated stuff deep dive and I'm surprised how little videos have been made about The Batman and Teen Titans being connected, yet there are sooooo many talking about how it ISNT in the DCAU lmao
This batman is my canonical batman story. I dont really know tim or dick as nightwing (only as this robin) and i cannot think of a more impactful batman to me other than batman beyond. These two batman storys are stories i wish to always be canon
Awesome video man I watched the whole thing I really liked it thought you hit the nail on the head. I literally just posted my own video over this on my channel. I thought I was one of the only few people who actually watch this as a kid. most people I talk to you never even heard of the show, it's sad that was a really good show I played a big part of my likeness for superheroes in general Marvel and DC. We should collaborate on something sometime
Bringing barbra into his hero party was just super irresponsible. I get dick because his parrents were murdered but bringing a teenage girl yo fight psychopaths with you is just stupid. Plus rumors would go arround that you were a pedophile.
I disagree. She's a headstrong character that clearly wasn't going to quit even when Bruce told her to stop. It was better for him to take her in and train her and watch over her rather than just let her do her own thing and be much more likely to get injured or even killed Also, it's a cartoon of a fictional character they can do whatever they want. Also you make it sound like Bruce was thinking "oh I sure do love little girls please be Batgirl oh boy I can't wait to diddle you" when as I've stated before he quite literally told her no multiple times before relenting after she got to save her dad and it resonated with him due to the fact he couldn't save his

Just before I see the video, I wanna say I believe to be the most underrated version of batman
This is the most underrated show, overshadowed by Batman TAS and Batman Beyond

Very good Batman show but I liked the season 4 redesign much better I hated his original character model.
Why was this so over the top 😂
This is the only show where batman has actual series long growth (not that I don't love the others (except titans (fuck titans)))
No really, fuck titans
@@mr.everwind5225 titans makes me really angry and really really happy at the same time

Beware the Batman also was doing that, but the show was canned after only one season.
