I think Sterling should be Hall of Famer because he put up numbers even before Favre showed up in Green Bay. Wild thing is, his brother's teammate Terrell Davis provides a blueprint for how he could get there. Sterling made 1st team All-Pro with Jerry Rice in 1989, before Favre.

I loved Shannon Sharpe growing up as a young Broncos fan. My cousins hated playing me in Madden because I would torch them all day with Shannon Sharpe up the middle and on out routes with Elway
imo, TE is one of the hardest positions to gauge historically and i sometimes feel like shannon is overshadowed as a PLAYER. i think he was the first true recieving threat at the position. he was consistently made a threat in the offense while guys like K winslow and Ditka were more traditional TE than true receiver. after shannon dudes like J witten, graham, olsen and Kelce credited him a lot for their skills

They'd do well to add personalities more versed in hockey. A good example of how hard it is to scout and draft the right guys: the projections of WR's in that draft (at app. 3:18 ). Taking Sharpe out (who was listed as an H-Back in some publications, that first year) as he, ultimately, was a TE; his fellow 3rd round projection, Fred Barnett and the last guy on that board, Terance Mathis, ended up having FAR better careers than everyone projected ahead of them. In fact, if you add up the career totals of the 5 WR's listed ahead of Barnett, they don't get close to his career stats. Not to even mention Mathis, who ranks among the all-time leaders in many receiving categories for the Atlanta Falcons. Go figure!
If Sterling Sharpe it stayed healthy on the Green Bay Packers, I think they would have won the second super bowl. Brett favre's number one receiver was never really replaced.
I don’t know if younger football fans realize how good Sterling Sharpe actually was. Without that neck injury he would be talked about with the all time greats.
I know no one cares about hockey, but this Nazem Kadri would be PERFECT for this series. He went from a very talented pest to dirty player to playoff liability for suspensions that was traded from a playoff team to a key contributor to a Stanley Cup winner in the midst of a more extreme version of the racial taunts he always endured and death threats after being involved in an opposing goalie's injury.
