One thing i would like to see improved in these "how good was he really" videos (and this is acroos all channels) is more of how good they actually were. This was a good video but it seemed likenit was 90% Broncos history with some Shannon stats sprinkled in. I would like more of how he was measuring up compared to ther tight ends, who were the guys that could argue they were better than him at his position? What strenghts and weaknesses separated them? He was one of the first and best receiving tight ends in a time where tight ends were expected to block a lot, how did he measure up with receivers? Stuff like that

If we could have got Ray Lewis and Shannon on the same team early in their careers that team would have won 7 or 8 Superbowls easily.

There's something about that area around Glennville, Georgia. They raise some Hard, Strong and Tough Men(Wimmens Too) down around there & they LOVE Their Football. Even if Shannon was born in Chicago(Nobody's perfect), he was raised and grew up in Glennville, so as a loyal Georgian who knows that area well, I'm giving Glennville all the credit. It's a hard place to make a living, without Hard Work, and the accompanying Good Work Ethic. I remember seeing their "Mailman" a close and dear friend, walk his full Mail Route while trying to pass a Kidney Stone(Anybody who has has a Kidney Stone knows what that takes to overcome & still walk that kind of distance) he never missed a Day of Work, or a House that had Mail to be delivered or picked up. I'd love to say he was different, but just about everybody around there, during the late 60s & early 70s was that kind of person. "Nobody gave you anything. If you wanted it, you had to work your tail off for whatever it was", and the Sharpe Brothers were no exception. They worked hard for everything they got, and everything they got, they more than deserved. "There wasn't a lick of quit" in that pair of Brothers, and their NFL records spell that out in Capital Letters. Two more, better than just good people coming out of "The Peach State".

I remember in 1997-98, my mom was a huge Broncos fan. We were at the grocery store one night and they had one of those quarter machines that pop out a little capsule with a toy in it. Anyway it had football helmet fridge magnets. I put a quarter in and got a Denver Broncos helmet. Then I put another and I got an Atlanta Falcons helmet. That quarter machine predicted the Super Bowl lineup. My mom kept those helmets on the fridge for 20 years. That's like hitting the lottery type of luck.
