The one thing you didn't mention was that, in addition to his play, the other big thing that helped Rodgers win over the fans was the fact that Favre went to the Vikings, which Packers fans saw as a betrayal, and caused them to rally around Favre's replacement.
@@kingoftherevolution4855 Favre beat Rodgers twice in 2009, Rodgers beat Favre twice in 2010. (Yes, KingOfTheRevolution, I know it was the teams that won, don't be so pedantic.)
To this day, I am so glad the front office got tired of Favre's retirement antics and didn't let him come back when he unretired. He held the team hostage toward the end of his career in Green Bay and his consistency fell off. Just look at how their playoff runs went in his final years. Of course, it looks right in hindsight from Rodgers' performance, but at the time, it was a gutsy move.
Ted took a lot of abuse, but the fans that did that were nowhere to be found when Ted was proven right in winning a Super Bowl. Those fans ended up in Minnesota wearing Vikings jerseys proving once and for all that they were NEVER Packers fans, but Favre fans. Those fans got their karma watching the Packers win while Favre ended up a cripple after costing the Vikings a trip to the Super Bowl with another of his classic boneheaded throws.
Rogers has really been no better. Stats and playoff games aside, Rogers has been chocking almost every season. As far as Favre, I got tired of his "waffling" every season but in his defense, when you ask at the end of the season after getting beaten up all season, it's a lot easier to say you are leaving then but a few months latter, after the body heals, he wanted to get out and play again.
What I find funny about the whole Favre - Rodgers thing is how history seems to be repeating itself, but Rodgers is now playing the role of Brett Favre. Unfortunately, it looks as if GB doesn't have the next Rodgers (Love) waiting on the sidelines as they did back in the day.
This channel has changed my perception of sports and I was always a big fan. But now I see the magic of an unpredictable reality and the self indulgent grandiose nature of that reality playing out on fields and courts with no discernable benefit beyond glory. A bunch of weird men and women making a fire out in all that dark. Thank you SB.
A lot of revisionist history exists with Rodgers. Glad this is here to make sure people remember how his first 3 years in the league went and compare it to Jordan love
Times have changed. First round QB's were expected to sit for couple seasons. Modern QB are mutch more prepared for NFL games and there is more expected from them earlier.
@@Rahkesh357 Even at that time, very few 1st round qbs sat for long. Phillip Rivers sat for a year and Carson Palmer sat for a year. Dont remember many others sitting for long around that time.
@@Rahkesh357 lmao are you kidding me? 😂 Chiefs and Packers have shown prepping a quality guy by not starting him for a couple years is a more proven formula unless that rookie QB is truly great and shines above their team’s flaws. Extremely hard to do.
@@Rahkesh357 Are they though? Look at the last two top draft picks that are supposed to be "once in a generation talents" with Tua and Trevor Lawrence. They got tossed into the fire and are seriously struggling, with Miami allegedly (and almost certainly according to the NFL's investigation) wanting to drop Tua and get Brady. Mahomes even sat a year behind Alex Smith and played a single game, the last game of the season, his rookie year. Almost every single high draft QB in the last couple years that was immediately given the starter, with the surprise exception of Mac Jones, has struggled. Davis Mills, 2-9. Trevor Lawrence, 3-14. Justin Fields, 2-8. Zach Wilson, 3-10. Mac Jones turned it around but started and ended poorly to go 10-7 (his middle 7 was great, admittedly). Justin Herbert and Joe Burrow both had pretty bad rookie seasons though turned it around in their sophomore season, with 6-9 and 2-7-1, respectively. Kyler Murray even had a bad rookie season with 5-10-1 and has had average seasons since, mostly from late season collapses of the entire team. Daniel Jones went 3-9 and hasn't been able to adapt. Sam Darnold, 4-9. Jared Goff started his first season 0-7 when Case Keenum was taken out of the starting spot. I could go on and on about how wrong your statement is. In fact, of all the recent first round QB's, only Tua had a decent rookie season, at 6-3, and fans (and seemingly the team) are giving him one last chance with the Dolphins as a boom or bust moment.
This was a really good story. Alot of us, being from Wisconsin, forgot how much Farve didn't want Rodgers and how much Farve hand tied us. Not many teams go from HoF qb to HoF qb and the Packers fans have been blessed.
@@Erik-ij5jb My cousins are die-hard Lions fans, which means not only have they not seen a playoff victory in their lifetimes (the last one was after the '91 season), but there's likely no one under the age of SEVENTY who remembers their second-most-recent playoff victory, the 1957 NFL Championship.
I’m glad Aaron found a good outlet in the Pat Mcafee show. Everyone has all these opinions about Aaron but Aaron’s never really been polled on what he thinks. He was never a media darling and he probably won’t ever be. Yet to those who want to know what Aaron Rodgers is like, look no further than YT.
Mcafee is a player cheerleader. Rodgers could go there and say he killed a man, and all Pat Mcafee will say is "wow." Everything that Rodgers says in that show is carefully constructed and deliberate, which is how Rodgers speaks in public.
The McAfee show is also where most of us came to the conclusion that Aaron Rodgers is a total dipstick when it comes to matters that are not football. I will happily agree very very few people have ever thrown the ball better than he, but he's a freaking idiot and proof no one should ever idolize someone good at sportsball.
@@MrWhiteVzla the state of sports media is so bad because of a reliancy on negativity that a "player cheerleader" is the only person a lot of players feel comfortable expressing their side with. They know they won't get baited in bad faith for media engagement.
Covid caused the world of sports and politics to become connected. I haven't watched this yet but he uses "Covid liar" in his description of Rodgers. I do not agree with the notion that a professional athlete must also become a shill for the powers that be and their schemes. Aaron Rodgers is a liar in he didn't answer a question truthfully. Try not to forget it was a question to begin with which means he did not just represent something falsely. Someone asked him a question and requested personal information from him. The question itself is not enough to compel someone to answer it truthfully. It's like a great man once said, "Don't ask me no questions, and I won't tell you no lies." "If you don't ask me about my business, then I won't tell you goodbye." A question alone does not mean you are obligated to answer truthfully.
@@a1b1c184 Consider going into politics, lad. That's an incredibly winded way of saying that you don't think Rodgers lied about his vaccination status. XD
As a hockey fan first, it reminds me a lot of the Canadiens being gifted a 5th overall pick in 2005 and drafting Carey Price. It confused and angered many for Montreal to get a goalie, which is about as important a position as a QB, when the team had Theodore and a deep prospect chart that included Christobal Huet. Hockey "analyst" Pierre McGuire was especially scathing at the team's decision. There were especially tensions in 2010 when Jaroslav Halak took over the starting job in the playoffs and rode the Habs to a Conference Finals, upsetting both the regular season champions and the reigning Cup champions thanks to his heroics. That Summer, Montreal would trade Halak, saying that Price was still the goalie of the future. I remember a really lousy preseason game few months later where Price was getting booed and was dragged even more in the media after he said that it wasn't a big deal to have a bad performance in a preseason game. Carey Price ended up being am elite goaltender, making the Canadiens do wonders even without much of a good team ahead of him. Though his career was sadly marred with injuries, he is still the only goaltender in the last twenty years to win MVP in 2015, and dragged the Canadiens to an extremely unlikely Stanley Cup Finals in 2021 almost by himself. Even superstar Sidney Crosby once called him the best goalie in the world. Carey Price has been the face of the franchise for a long, long time, and is a lock for a first ballot Hall of Famer. But damn, didn't it look like it when he was first drafted...
I remember ther Price - Halak talk and how TSN was shocked that the Habs decided to stay with Price and let Halak go. Even I was surprised at that move. Price turned out to be a monster, while Halak lost a step as time passed. Coaches and front offices know their team's inner working better than the people from the outside looking in.
@@MrWhiteVzla oh, I absolutely HATED that move at the time. Ironically enough, just before the 2021 playoffs, I found a Halak jersey for 12 bucks in a thrift shop in mint condition, and since it is my only Habs jersey, I wore it during the entire playoffs watching Price dominate his way to the Finals
@@estellegrignon lol. I had a Halak jersey during that run as well. Price deserves a ring, but I don't think he will get one. As you pointed out, injuries have been an issue for him. But, whenever he is healthy, he is one of the best goalies I've seen in my life. On the plus side, the Habs can win a game 7, unlike some other Canadian team that shall remain unnamed. XD
The difference though being that Price wasn’t replacing a legend. Halak was a good goaltender, but he was no Brett Favre. This is more like if a team chose a young goalie over Patrick Roy or Martin Brodeur. Maybe Marc-Andre Fleury is a better comp? He had two situations that don’t exactly line up, but when looked at together as if they were one, it shares a lot of similarities to the Favre/Rodgers saga. In Pittsburgh he was exposed in the expansion draft to make way for up-and-comer Matt Murray and in Vegas he was a fan favorite who was traded to give Robin Lehner (who’s been disliked by a lot of that fanbase for reasons I’ve never understood) free reign over the starting job.
best sports content on the planet. to be honest, i dont care much about football or baseball (i'm from switzerland, we dont have those sports here) but i love pretty much all secret base vids!! good job guys and thank you very much for all the great content!!
I'm from the US and I also don't really care about football, but I do watch their football content from time to time, because the channel as a whole is great content.
I've been a Packer fan my entire life. There was nothing quite like 2008. Brett Favre came out of retirement and the Packers said they wouldn't make him the starter (Because Rodgers already was) so he requested a trade. Most people wanted Brett Favre back. I was one of the few that didn't. Favre was like 37 years old at the time and I knew he had only a few more seasons left in him. I didn't think they should tell Rodgers off just because Favre couldn't make a decision about his retirement and wanted to come back. He had waited 3 years behind Favre at that point and I wanted to see what the guy could do. In retrospect, Rodgers is actually a better player than Favre by most measurements. I didn't know what to think of Rodgers around that time and I did have some doubts but the guy earned his chance to play and has made the most of it.
Same. I was riding the Rodgers train. I loved Favre. He was one of the reasons I became a Packer fan and football fan in general in the early 90s. But he was super annoying with his flip flopping holding the organization and fans hostage every year.
Rodgers is pretty much Brett Favre that doesn’t make mistakes. He took the aspects that made Favre great even copied some of his mechanics and refined it with a mental side of the likes of Peyton.
If Rodgers doesn't get another Super Bowl in GB before he is done here, then it's a big disappointment and his era will be defined by that to some significant degree.
This was a big moment for me, too. I was a huge Brett Favre fan and moved on when he “retired”. Then he un-retired and wanted to come back. I asked myself, “Am a Brett Favre fan or a Packers fan?” I chose to put the team over my favorite player of all time. Glad everything worked out for the most part.
rodgers was the reason i started watching football. im so connected to his story. im so tired of the hate he gets I clicked on this expecting more. nice to finally see someone acknowledge just how much hes overcome... great video.
This is very similar to how Jordan Love is being treated now. We’ve hardly seen Love really play and yet Packer fans are already condemning him as a failed draft pick.
I would say the difference is that Rodgers was projected by many to go number one overall, but then he fell to 24th. While Love was projected to get drafted in the second round, but then the Packers traded UP to get him in the first round.
Fighting in the age of loneliness was the first series I watched by secret base and that series spoke to me. these people are good at what they do. Please don't ever change your style.
I don’t know, this made it seem like the crazies were a majority. As a life long GB fan I can tell you we loved Favre but we were sick of the weekly soap opera of if he’s gonna keep playing or not, with the retiring / un-retiring. I remember back then then thinking yeah it sucks to lose him but we can’t just keep his spot open every time he leaves hoping he comes back, this many times.
They are not Tom Brady fans on this channel see the 7 part Atlanta falcons series it made Tom Brady to be a Trump lover and alot of other bullshit that he is not. Now the great Aaron Rodgers congratulations to packer fans you got you somebody who can win MVPs just not SBs so I SB in all those years. He chocks as bad as the Atlanta Falcons Go bucs Go Tom probably gonna win your 8th SB LFG and to hell with all of you who don't like it
If you want to see a good Brady documentary (like, 48 minutes in length), check out The Brady 6: Journey of the Legend No One Wanted. It's on the NFL Films' RUclips channel.
I feel like Aaron Rodgers has been so good for so long people have forgotten how good Brett Favre was. Favre won 3 straight MVPs in 90s and retired as all time leader in almost every passing category. He was probably the most beloved player by his fan base and the national media when he first called it quits. I've felt that if there had been a couple year gap for the Packers between Favre and Rodgers where the team just totally sucked then Favre would be remembered more fondly. Unrelated but I've also thought that if Steve Young had the exact same career on a team other than the 49ers he would be considered much higher on the greatest QBs list. Young had multiple MVPs and some of the best stats for that era. Plus he was a dual threat.
Favre isn't remembered as fondly because of how he acted on his way out the door. his waffling, his "Family Night" stunt, his interview on Fox News where his entitlement showed, his behind the scenes attempts to manipulate his way to Minnesota, blatant tampering by his agent. and trying to force his way back on the team. Favre did that himself with his selfish and egotistical behavior.
@@chriskay1449 Yeah I remember the annual "will he retire or not" game he started playing in 2008. That changed the perception of Favre to a diva. Still though in the 90s to early 2000s Favre had to be the most popular player in the league. He was on the cover of all the video games, had the most jerseys sold, even had a cameo in There's Something About Mary.
@@robertholston4708 2008? He started it before Rodgers was drafted in 2005. He had already played that game the 3 seasons before it. Hell towards the end of the 2006 season he publicly threatened to retire if Mike Sherman was fired. Packers fired him anyway and Favre came back. He was known as a diva long before 2008.
Touche. I don't follow the Packers that closely. I was referring to the first official retirement announcement in 2008. I wasn't aware of the rumors going around prior to that. I know he had down years in 2005 and 2006 so people speculated he was done then.
I think viewing the Jordan Love pick from Aaron Rodgers' perspective is so poignant right now. Jordan Love might not be the future of the Packers, I'd even venture it say it probabilistically impossible for Love to replace Rodgers. But that doesn't mean you can't uplift him and give him the best possible chance to succeed. I would wish on nobody the adversity that Rodgers had to go through coming into the League.
It's not impossible for Love to replace Rodghers. He does not have to be Rodgers to win a Super Bowl. If Matt Stafford, Joe Flacco, and Ben Rothlesburger can win them,, so can Jordan.
If Rodgers doesn’t win a SB in next 2 seasons I could see them siding with Love. His 5th year option would be very hard to pick up while rodgers is playing though.
I remember having the exact opposite reaction to the Rodgers pick. Favre was just as reckless as he'd always been, but no longer had the athleticism and skill needed to pull off those miracles he's famous for. We were coming off a year where he threw four picks in the Wild Card round and we got beat at home by our divisional rival Vikings. He also had started that trend he had of annoyingly mulling retirement every season, hampering the team's ability to plan for his presence or absence. I had thought we needed to move on for a couple years at that point, actually. But I'm a Packers fan who doesn't live in Wisconsin; the experience there was likely different.
If I were working in the sports media industry, I would place SB as my ultimate dream job. This channel produces the highest quality sports content I've ever seen.
I remember watching that Dallas game and being like "Damn this guy can actually play!" That was a 13-3 Dallas team that season too so it was no small feat to play that well. The rest is history
Here's a weird thing. I was the biggest Don Majikowski fan you'd find in my school. Brett Favre replaced MY favorite QB and a tiny part of me never forgave him, even despite a Super Bowl ring. That tiny part of me celebrated the day Rodgers was drafted. I'm sure there are still a few die hard Favre fans that have a little place in their heart waiting for the Jordan Love era to begin.
"Long haired Covid liar." In every episode you all have that one line that just cracks me up, it's not as funny out of context but within the context of each episode it's absolutely perfect and hilarious.
Rodgers did not lie about being vaccinated against covid. He said that he was "immunized" which is the truth. He didn't specifically say what he was immunized against and frankly, no one asked. Everyone just moved on without saying "Hey, thats a little vague, could you clarify for us what you are immunized against?" Thats not Rodgers fault, thats the fault of every reporter who failed to ask the question. It was a slick answer that got him around having to directly state that he didn't receive a big pharma covid vaccine. He outsmarted everyone with that answer and thats why everyone is mad. He made them all look like the fools that they are.
I remember in 2005, scratching my head thinking "What was Ted thinking?" I happily eat crow now as a Packers fan. Despite his recent eccentric behavior (then again the "Hippie Rodgers" seems more dangerous than the "God of Vengeance Rodgers" of the past), I know that most teams would still give anything for him. I enjoy that he's our QB given how amazing he performs and that we somehow caught lightning in a bottle by having two back-to-back first-round Hall of Fame QBs be primary starters in a row.
well said. doesn't it make you nervous that we've drafted two back to back first round HOFers in a way? like we used up all our karma haha. I feel like after Rodgers leaves there's going to be a huge drought in terms of success. Just statistically, right? I hope I'm wrong
You just weren't paying attention. He was a stud in college. He beat the eventual co national champion Trojans (you're welcome LSU) in 2003. Then in 2004 again against the eventual national champion Trojans played the single best game I've ever seen a QB at any level play. He threw 26 completions in a row. I was at the game but rewatched it a few years ago. It's no exaggeration to say that every single pass was on target. They lost but he basically played a perfect game. No one in Berkeley was the least bit surprised he turned into the NFL player he became. I was practically weeping when the Raiders passed on him.
@@christopherharris3229 yeah u right - but you get what I'm saying. and besides, Wolf had wanted to draft Favre and would have if the Falcons hadn't scooped him up
This is one of the reasons why I love Rodgers. He went through so much adversity in the beginning of his career and was still able to put together a HOF career. But like the rest of us, he's only human. He makes mistakes like anyone else, his are much more monitored since he's the face of the most historic NFL franchise
I always hated Rodgers being a lions fan and all but as I’ve gotten older I’ve gotten a lot more respect for Rodgers. The man just keeps doing what he can for the Packers. The packers organization recently has been treating him like he ain’t done nothing🤦🏽♂️
At least they're contenders. Half the league dont even make the playoffs. He's only had 2 losing seasons 1 of which was due to his 2nd broken collarbone injury. he won his Superbowl along with that MVP performance as well as 4x league MVP and going down as a top 10 player of all time.
Oh look, another fan who's perspective has been completely scrambled by living through the Brady/Belichick Patriots dynasty. 🙄 Here's a history lesson: 17 of the NFL's teams (more than half) don't have two rings over their entire history. Only 12 QBs have won more than one Super Bowl as a starter. Just making it to the Super Bowl is extremely difficult regardless of how good your QB is and even among the all-time greats, winning zero or one rings is a lot more likely than winning several. Rodgers, Favre, Drew Brees, Steve Young, Johnny Unitas, Ken Stabler, Russell Wilson, and Kurt Warner? One ring each. Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, Ken Anderson, Matt Ryan, Steve McNair, and Fran Tarkenton? Never won a Super Bowl. Dan Fouts, Philip Rivers, Warren Moon, Randall Cunningham, Michael Vick, and Andrew Luck... never even made it to a Super Bowl. If I wanted to include all the QBs who won MVPs or were All-Pro multiple times those last two lists could've been even longer. A QB winning one ring doesn't make them a failure. Acting like it does is ridiculous.
Perspective is a rare gift in today's world of instant journalism, and I'm extremely grateful that this series exists. This comment is a prayer to the Algorithm to take notice of my engagement and promote this content so that others might watch. Amen.
I'm a (long suffering) Bears fan so my only interest in the Favre/Rodgers drama was based in schadenfreude hoping Favre would leave and Rodgers would suck. However my most specific memory of that era was a buddy of mine predicting immediately that Favre would un-retire and then immediately suck or get injured because... he was on the cover of Madden 09, and NOBODY escapes the Madden Curse.
Aside from Favre ending up in Minnesota and leading teams to winning, was that Rodgers’ greatest strength is Favre’s biggest weakness: interceptions. Game after game, season after season, Favre would rip out your soul with a backbreaking interception. Barring other team issues, imagine how many Super Bowls Green Bay would have if Favre wasn’t the all time leader of throwing picks. So when presented with a QB with just as much arm talent, but astronomically better accuracy, you don’t pass that up. Let’s hope Love has been studying well underneath Rodgers.
The stories or rather the retelling of stories SB is so good. I live in India and I never cared about the NFL but I am, gratefully chomping down on any NFL or Football related video from SB. When a platform makes you care about something you've never cared about, that's when you know you're dealing with a special team of storytellers.
I lived near green bay during favres last season, retirement and then all the fall out. This is the best video on the subject I've ever seen! This is 100% accurate from someone who was there
This series is gonna be super cool. A cool episode would be Kimi Raikkonen's career. Was almost blocked from Formula 1 because he was too young, then left the sport as the most experienced driver of all time
I’d love to see an episode of Collapse on Daniel Ricciardo Or something about Alonso’s terrible career choices (although his new move to Aston is a W in my book simply for the chaotic Silly Season we’re now in as a result)
The best thing to ever happen to Rodgers was Favre going to Minnesota. In 2008, I and many other Packers fans were diehard Brett Believers and rooted for him big time in New York. When he went to the Vikings, all of those haters did a 180 and put their faith in Rodgers. Aaron played damn well in 2009 and he won the Super Bowl the next year to begin his journey as the now undisputed most accomplished player in the history of the Green Bay Packers.
Don't get it twisted. Just because QBs throw 50 passes a game nowadays and pad their career numbers, they're not better because of it. Bart Starr is the greatest packer of all time and it isn't even close. A real packers fan would know that.
Growing up a diehard Packer fan, Favre was my hero. However, I was not upset when they drafted Rodgers. I knew Favre’s time was coming but I was hoping he could hang on. Even back then I never understood how the Packers fans could hate a guy so much that we had never even seen play. I always wanted Favre as our QB, but every player has their time. I was lucky enough to see Rodgers his rookie year against the Steelers in preseason with my dad. I was so happy to finally see my hero Favre play even four downs that game, but the the thing that really stuck with me and my dad was how well Rodgers played that day. Both of us left saying to each other that Rodgers looked like he could become a star. I knew after that day the Packers were in good hands after Favre.
I wish people would stop comparing the Rodgers and Love situations. FARVE LITERALLY RETIRED! then pulled up to training camp outta nowhere! One fort in and 1 foot out and didn’t even embrace mentoring Rodgers! Rodgers said time and time again HE WANTED TO STAY IN GREEN BAY AND PLAY FOR A LONG TIME! And he fully embraced Love even when he felt the Organization didn’t appreciate him enough

Terrific video. I remember I was 8 or 9 years old when Favre retired. I remember not really knowing who Aaron was since I never really followed the draft when I was younger nor knew much about any other players other than Favre, Donald Driver, Nick Collins, and AJ Hawk. The only things I really remember from Favre's last few pre 1st retirement years was a lot of interceptions and the 2007 playoff loss to the giants. I remember not really caring too much when he tried to come back and maybe it is because I was only 7 or 8 years old but boy was I furious when he signed with Minnesota. Watching him leave to play for the Vikes made it so easy to dislike him and hop on the Rodgers train when it left the station. I do not remember hearing or reading much about all the Rodgers hate that was going on when Favre wanted to come back but when all the talk of Rodgers leaving was swirling around a few years ago I would have been so upset if he had left and Jordan Love would have been our quarterback. I think it is much easier to want Rodgers to stay because he is still playing at a GOAT level and Favre had noticeably been declining. But that being said I would have supported Love either way and wanted him to succeed. Maybe its just the older generation of fans or something thinking it was ok to come down on Rodgers like that but in my eyes you can never blame a young kid for the position the front office is putting him in. Was I happy with the Jordan Love trade, no but he didn't deserve any hate at all for the position he was put in.
When i first started watching Secret Base, it was the Beef series; and I thought Clara's voice was one of the guys using a voice changer at first. Her videos have always been my favorite.

@@garyzimmerman62 Hes holding this team hostage just like Favre did. Cant wait for it to come to an end.

Touche. I don't follow the Packers that closely. I was referring to the first official retirement announcement in 2008. I wasn't aware of the rumors going around prior to that. I know he had down years in 2005 and 2006 so people speculated he was done then.
Steve Young probably wouldn't have had the exact same career on a team other than the 49ers.

Here's a history lesson: 17 of the NFL's teams (more than half) don't have two rings over their entire history.

"Cursing Rodgers for existing"- the one time Packers fans got something right.
As a Oregon Ducks fan that quick jab at Joey Harrington hurt
I’m loving this new series. Keep it up!

I always stop by for any Aaron Rodgers and Packer Content 💯🧀
Favre's last play in 2007 was a stupid interception he tossed to Corey Webster. As a Giants fan, I will always be grateful.
Best channel on RUclips. Alway beautiful video. Thank you for the good quality entertainment
This was an amazing video. I'm a Detroit fan living outside of Green Bay and lived through the transition of Farve to Rodgers. You nailed it!
Ive legit been waiting for a video on Aaron.
In 2007 when Rodgers took over for injured Favre vs Cowboys EVERY Packers fan knew Rodgers was special. No more questions about what will we do in Post Favre Era. Rodgers was unbelievable in that game when Favre was struggling.
“ CoViD LiAr “ Lmaooo
the Dallas Cowboys
Didn’t expect this right after I moved out of Wisconsin, but it’s a pretty good story for SB
I hear Clara, I click like
Secret Base does not miss!
Yes! Clara Morris!
This is a good episode on a quarterback, but there is another good one *cough cough* Ryan Leaf *cough cough*
A jagr one of these would be fascinating and I hope we get one.
That’s a good shout, make it happen SB!
Thank you for that documentary. Now I understand that man a little better.
Honestly, if I hadn't subbed a short time ago, this video would've earned my sub.
Wow this was great. I remembered that Favre didn't go gracefully into his next phase, but I didn't know Packers fans hated him that virulently.
I think you oughta do a sequel to this one either when Rodgers finally retires or when he gets into canton
Tremendous video as always
you guys should do a rewind on Raiders vs Chiefs week 7 2017, it was a great game and had one of the best endings i’ve ever seen
When i first started watching Secret Base, it was the Beef series; and I thought Clara's voice was one of the guys using a voice changer at first. Her videos have always been my favorite.
The kindness that Rogers did with Love really stands out. Wanting to break that negativity cycle of what he went through. I totally respect that. Gotta nurture the young core.
Gah I love y'alls channel so much these videos are better than anything out there rn and I aspire to hopefully one day join the team ❤
I'm reminded of a time when a classmate of mine became a Bills fan when the Patriots dropped Drew Bledsoe for Tom Brady
Great video as always
you guys could do a story on basically anything sports related and I will watch and eat up every min of it.
