The most surprising thing to me in all of this is the realization that Dak is currently in his seventh season. I still think of him as relatively new, but he is a bona fide veteran (but still no closer to a championship).

Dak and the 'boys looked pretty good against the Bucs, but since Bowles and his band of merry coordinators were clearly using a Magic 8 Ball for their play calling on both sides of the ball, I'll wait to see them play against the Niners on that sloppy turf.

I know you guys don't do much soccer content, but Argentina's FIFA World Cup victory in 2022 seriously needs a deep rewind.
I love your story-telling, hence an hour-long episode of the rewinder - if it were dedicated to Argentina's & Messi's World Cup triumph - would be awesome coming from you guys!
If you feel like it, you can do a multi-episode arc as well - as you did for the Cavs & LeBron. There are very few sports on the planet with as many interconnected and tangled storylines as soccer! I can guarantee that it'd be fun for you, too!
    Thanks in advance!
    - From an ardent fan.

As a Cowboys fan 2014 and 2016 are the only seasons in the past 10 years I had any hope at them making a true run, only to be shattered by the Pack. With the 49ers and Eagles being building Elite rosters its hard having any hope for this season

I remember being in Hong Kong on vacation, setting an alarm at 4am in the morning to watch this game. My anger at that last three seconds 🤬 But we had the best record in the league and led by two rookies, I was hopeful for our future then.

I still believe that if Dallas would have put Romo in they would have won that game. Romo unlike Dak wouldn't have listened to Jason Garrett predictable and conservative offense wouldn't have gone for the spike and would have hit Dez in the endzone like always.

The cowboys absolutely BLEW this game and it’s always bothered me. Why in the hell are you spiking the ball down 3 on the opponents 40 with 1:07 left? You’re on the edge of field goal range already. First of all, you’re wasting a down you need to get closer to the end zone to have a chance to win. So you set yourself up with 2nd and 10 from the 40 with 1:07 left with a HOF qb on the other teams sideline. Yeah, there’s no way that’ll come back to bite you. Manage the clock properly and even if you’re stopped you likely kick the FG and you get OT. One of the WORST clock management mistakes I’ve ever seen.

“Cockroach” is definitely an apt description of the Packers and don’t think I’ve seen it used before. Kudos for that. Absolutely spot on and they goddamn did it again this year (at least it didn’t extend into the playoffs this time)

My wife had a difficult pregnancy that year so I had been way too busy to pay much attention to football. Besides that, by 2016 Packer flameouts in the playoffs were the norm, so as a fan I refused to get too invested in the game. Even when they went up big early I knew it wouldn't last. But when Crosby hit the game winner TWICE I couldn't stop shaking, its the most emotional I have ever been over a football game

I remember watching this game and I knew the moment that they stopped the clock at 39 sec. that it was too much time for Rodgers. All I could do was take off my jersey and sit in silence as Dallas's run was, yet again, ruined by the Packers. As sad as the loss was, The game is one of the most memorable I've seen in my lifetime. I hope to watch a similar game against San Fran this year with the exception of winning of course.
