It's easy to say that, but as the video detailed, this team was going to come off the rails because of all the injuries, off field issues, egos, and free agency. I think 4 super bowls at most if Jimmy doesn't leave.

This narration makes me respect Patriots dynasty even more. A dynasty can never sustain if it is based on star players alone. It needs great quarterback, a good coach and non interfering owner. New England checks all three boxes.
To put together a dynasty like that you need one of the greatest to ever play the position. Tom Brady is the goat. The Bill Russell/MJ of Football. Look at the Patriots now. Still reasonably good, but not as dominant as they were.
Plus, a hard salary cap to deal with. The Cowboys didn't need to deal that during their dynasty's formation years. The Pats dynasty will never be topped. It was perfect, despite the cheating allegations
New England Won For Twenty Years Straight. Because A Man Called Brady. The Proof Is Before Tom Brady And After Tom Brady. Patriots Fans Are Getting A Taste Of Reality. Patriots Are A Avg. To Bad Football Team. Before And After Tom Brady. "As The Truth To Be Told "
broadstreet21 I don’t think so. For most of the 80’s. The team wasn’t that good and it was becoming clear in the middle to late stages of the decade, that Tom Landry’s coaching style became outdated and he was getting up in age. It was clear that a change was needed.
@@tannerwilson4843 True, well therein lies the debate. Do you want loyalty or Superbowls? Said Cowboys fans says they want Superbowls - only with Landry as coach. They're repulsed by Jones' destroying the family and turning it into a deplorable business club (sorry Trump voters).
broadstreet21 Jerry is 77 now and it makes you wonder how long Jerry Jones will remain as Owner and GM and when he plans to start at least taking more of a backseat in the Organization. Would hate to see him stay as owner till his dying day similar to the likes of Al Davis and Ralph Wilson. Oakland was especially bad during Al Davis’ final few years before his death and Jerry needs to learn from this to find the right time to retire.
Hey thanks y'all. This team gave me a pretty good childhood, the toughest part of this episode was making sure I didn't screw something up about my favorite team - WB
@@SecretBaseSBN I feel that. I've already had to watch the Pistons and Red Wings episodes (the Tigers probably deserve an episode but their collapse might not be over), but I can take solace in the fact that the Lions don't meet the criteria to be featured in this series.
To make a long story short: Jerry Jones has always envied jimmy because jimmy is everything that Jerry wanted to be. He wanted the type of attention and respect that jimmy always got
Jerry Jones admitted publicly-at the time-that the 1994 draft was all about back ups, not about improving talent. The Cowboys draft room was a shambles from 1994, after Jimmy, until 2011 when they promoted Will McClay to the head of player personnel.
Nope. The salary cap was introduced in 1994 specifically so NFC (and especially Cowboys) could no longer buy Super Bowls. That’s why following 1995 season Cowboys have 0 Super Bowls, 0 NFC Championships. 2 1st round Playoff wins total in 23 seasons.
OMNISAIYANGOD9000 OMNISAIYANGOD9000 “what you’ve heard” is called conjecture. It’s not based on any kind of fact; unlike what I have given you. You can draw a clear delineation from an event that occurred (the salary cap enforcement) and can clearly see the way that it impacted the roster and personnel moving forward. It’s not open for debate whether the Cowboys were spending more than other teams. It’s a fact. Their win vs the Bills being the most egregious example where their roster salary outspent the Bills by a factor of 4 to 1. It’s also not debatable if that talent left and took more lucrative signing deals with other teams as soon as the Cowboys were no longer able to pay them. You can watch the video for examples of this happening in the following years of the salary cap. It’s also not debatable if the NFL fined and removed draft picks form the Cowboys, Broncos, and Raiders for cheating the new salary cap rules. That is recorded history. When there is no violation of the rules; you also see a significant change in record and playoff appearances that directly correlates with these events.
@@renshawjoshua Some of that still happens becuase no Jimmy right? This is all before my time so I don't know much. Cowboys + Jimmy = two super bowls. I would think even if the salary cap was introduced, Johnson would have been THAT good of a coach to keep winning big games
OMNISAIYANGOD9000 OMNISAIYANGOD9000 You also don’t have to wonder if Jimmy Johnson “would have been THAT good of a coach” because you also have examples you can reference. The Cowboys was not Jimmy Johnson’s final job coaching in the NFL. He went on to coach the Dolphins as well and took that team from 8-8 to 9-7 to 10-6 and a couple post season appearances and even a couple wins. Yes coaching is important and can make a difference; but it doesn’t turn an average to below-average team into a dynasty like has been suggested. Maybe with Jimmy the Cowboys decline is slightly less precipitated; but still a noticeable decline nonetheless that ends with little success. Which is what I am pointing out. As soon as the Cowboys could no longer straight-up buy all of the most talented free agents on defense and continue to pay all of them along with paying 7 to 8 Hall of Fame offensive players simultaneously; the Cowboys never won again. Not just a blip or bad season; we are talking about falling off a cliff and being a mostly irrelevant team for 25 years. Occasionally making a playoff but never really being a legit contender. Compare that to organizations in the modern day like Pittsburgh or the Patriots. Both have been in decline the last few seasons due to an aging roster and losing skill players. But neither one has fallen off a cliff and became completely irrelevant like the Cowboys did when they were no longer allowed to purchase Super Bowl rings. They went from Super Bowl winners to Conference Championship teams and then making the playoffs but maybe not getting far... it is a gradual drop. A quality front office doesn’t go from 13-3 to 4-12 in the span of two years. The Cowboys front office does.
Yeah, that and a scissor attack being "playful". The scene doesn't sure sound playful. I love Irvin and all, but he tended to get out of hand (still, more positives than negatives).
I supported the Cowboys all my life. Some of my earliest memories are watching the Cowboys with my father from the mid 60s on. When Jerry's ego came between what was best for the team and having to acknowledge that Jimmy Johnson was the reason for their successful comeback and dynasty in the 90s, that was it for me. The way he treated Tom Landry, and the fact that Jimmy Johnson hasn't been enshrined in the Ring of Honor at Cowboys Stadium, I won't root for them till Jerry is gone.
Would love to see a video on how in the world the Chicago Bears team that produced the most dominant season in modern history (1985) managed to win only one championship.
It’s been argued by some that teams that don’t have a particularly good quarterback (Jim McMahon was ok, but nothing amazing individually) have a more limited window. Chicago was still very good through 88 arguably, before declining. If they had a better quarterback for that entire time, they might have been a dynasty.
There are a certain subset of our fanbase (myself included) who get some weird stress release from kvetching about the bad/infuriatingly mediocre Cowboys times, and I'm pretty sure Will moonlights with our lot on occasion.
Something you completely left out of your video that was a huge deal leading to the Cowboys collapse: The NFL salary cap beginning in 1994. Cowboys fans don’t want to accept it; but the majority of the reason they won in the late 1980s and early 1990s was because they bought those Super Bowls. The joke back then was that the NFC championships between Dallas and San Francisco was the “real super bowl” simply because they spent so much money on their teams in comparison to any potential AFC competitors. The “Dallas Wall” had 3 Hall of Fame Players and 1 additional Pro Bowler. How did they make that happen? There were 6 offensive linemen making over $1 million / year prior to the salary cap. 1 played for San Francisco. 1 played for Washington. The other 4 all played for the Cowboys. When Dallas played Buffalo in the Super Bowls; both times Dallas outspent Buffalo in team salary 4:1. It wasn’t just the Cowboys but the NFC in general that drastically outspent the AFC. Prior to the salary cap; the NFC had won the Super Bowl 9 consecutive times by over more than double-digits average. You can see the effects of the salary cap on Dallas immediately once Jerry Jones could no longer just buy all the best players in free agency and afford to keep all of the draft pick signings from the Hershel Walker deal so that they didn’t leave (which is why their first two Super Bowl wins they were the youngest team on average in the NFL both years). The only reason they got one more win in 1995 was they took enormous cap hits while also back-loading player contracts to make it work. They were also fined by the NFL for basically cheating the system. It’s the reason Aikman had a 7 year - $70 million extension that they never intended on paying him and subsequently they had to pay him the guaranteed money later; so he would play for less at the time and get them under the salary cap. That is the main reason for all the players leaving in FA; when the Cowboys could no longer pay everybody and they could get more money from other teams. It’s also the reason that since 1995 Dallas has 0 Super Bowl wins, 0 Super Bowl appearances, 0 NFC championship appearances, and only 2 playoff wins total in the last 24 years. When they can’t outspend other teams and it’s fair? Jerry Jones can’t compete with other front offices in terms of quality. It’s born out in the numbers.
@@paulraborn6560 But at least they know about getting to the Super Bowl in the last Twenty-Five years. Oh sorry...twice in the last twenty-five. I agree the Eagles didn't have sweeping success but literally all Cowboy fans say is three Super Bowls. If you have to go back over a quarter century to talk about success you are not successful. The league has changed a lot and Jerry Jones has not. And the Cowboys are not the elite team they are marketed as. If Jerry Jones won't change and push his ego out of the way I do not see any rings in Dallas' near future.

Moss never lost to Dallas his entire career! Greg Ellis was good, great even.. but Moss on Dallas in 98 cost Dallas a SB that season. Emmitt goes for 2,000+ Aikman has an all time season, 98 was the last time the quadruplets were healthy (Troy, Irvin, Smith, Moose) its my biggest what if for Dallas. The Collapse Of The Atlanta Falcons: How they were just moments away from winning the Super Bowl with a 28-3 lead then ultimately collapsed and turned into the bottom dwellers of the NFL.
As someone born in Dallas in 1996, I’ve never seen a truly dominant Cowboys. I am wholly convinced that Jerry 90% of the problem. It’s been over 20 years Jerry. You really think you’re the reason for those championships in the 90s?
Jerry was the reason for the championships in the 1990s because he outspent everybody. Here is the timeline for the NFL salary cap: 1992-93: Cowboys win Super Bowl 1993-94: Cowboys win Super Bowl 1994: NFL introduces salary cap 1995-96: Cowboys win Super Bowl 1996: NFL levels gigantic fine on Jerry Jones for cheating salary cap during 1995-96 season by backloading contracts 1996-2019: 0 Super Bowls. 0 NFC championships. 2 1st round playoff wins total.
OMNISAIYANGOD9000 OMNISAIYANGOD9000 Answer: No. In the NFL there is gigantic variance from week to week. Pitting good teams vs good teams they each have a reasonable chance of winning week in and week out. There is a reason that 10-6 teams have went on to win Super Bowls and 15-1 teams lose their first playoff game. There really isn’t much difference between a 13-3 team and 14-2 or 11-5 except the ball bounced one way or the other in a couple of those games. That isn’t a good barometer for “domination”. Rather you should be looking at strength of schedule and margin of victory. The 13-3 Cowboys teams you are talking about weren’t out there blowing people out and dominating the game and just barely lost 3 coin-flip games against good teams. There is a reason neither of these teams are mentioned within the same breath of other “dominant” all-time great teams. Many of those teams also not necessarily winning Super Bowl; but certainly not being humiliated each and every season when it’s playoff time like the Cowboys always are.
I will give Jerry credit for all 3 of those Super Bowl wins in the 90s. He came into the Cowboys and they had guys like Schramm and Landry running the team who were great in their time but they no longer had the pulse of what it took to be great anymore. Jerry shook things up and did what was best for the team at the time. But the Cowboys for the last decade have for the most part been a team just missing out of the playoffs. The Cowboys needs this generations version of what Jerry was in 1989 to come in and shake things up and get them out of their rut.
Wow what a great video it gave me goosebumps!! With the background music/sound it really seems like a tragedy. I was 10 years old when they won SB 27 it was such a sight to see that team be dominant in the next couple of seasons. Can’t believe it’s been that long since then. Now it’s just disappointment after disappointment. JJ has been the problem or his ego. Such is his desire to hear what a genius he is that he can’t see what he’s done to the team. Other than being the most valuable franchise, he doesn’t have anything else to show in 26 years. Great video! 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
When you laugh when your team beats the cowboys on wild card weekend and later realize your team lost 41-doughnut with a trip to the super bowl on the line
Jerry Jones is the reason that I as a lifelong diehard Cowboys fan, who grew up in a family of Cowboys fans, and even has the star tattooed on my body, am no longer a Cowboys fan. The way that he has been so try hard that he has been willing to look past domestic violence incidents of players and bring on people like Greg Hardy was the straw that broke the camels back for me after a long long list of things I had been willing to look past due to the sunk cost fallacy. My life has been much better without the weight of being a Cowboys fan while Jones is owner but it still breaks my heart anytime I think about what could've been. Can not wait for someone else to take over and do better with the team.
What about the departure of Ken Norton, Jr? Sure, they won the Super Bowl again two years after he left, but he was a key player on their defense which left a sizable gap that surely was a contributing factor in the team's fall from grace.
The list of players Dallas lost through free agency during that era could build an entire roster for another team with a couple of notable exceptions (QB and RB come to mind). Norton and Maryland both hurt but so did loosing Alvin Harper, Larry Brown and even Kelvin Martin. The acquisition of Deion Sanders was used to try to patch three different holes (Harper, Martin and an injured Kevin Smith) but even as good as Deion was he couldn't be a MLB and a DT on top of being return man a CB and a WR.
@@one7deep7savage7 yes they are and one superstar away from being serious contenders again. The have good solid playoff team right now that got to the second round last year by sweeping Crosby and the Penguins

My fav team to follow after the browns left Cleveland. Darren Woodson was the so underrated. He could play both the pass and the run. Unbelievable player and an ultimate professional.
I’m still mad at jerry over the Roy Williams trade and the fact he refused to address the terrible o-line during Romo’s early years, instead welcoming the excitement of Romo running for his life and creating “Romo Magic.”
@Harry Engel I liked the Chase format. It made the last 10 to 12 race is more exciting because it wasn't already obvious who was pulling away in the standings. But it's so rewarded the most consistently good driver. Now the format is that there is a round by round playoff elimination so in theory a driver could win every single race the entire year and if they don't finish ahead of the remaining drivers in the very last race of the season they wouldnt win the cup. Which is stupid because the whole point is to reward the most consistent team and Driver throughout the whole year in my opinion. The other thing for me is that drivers have changed their number and sponsor so much more often. And for me that negatively impacts it. it's like the equivalent of a sports team changing their uniform and Logo every couple of seasons. Lame
Great synopsis of the rise of Jerry Jones and the subsequent and meticulous fall of the Dallas Cowboys franchise and organization, even today. Glimpses of the glory days w/o the consistency winning win it matters most. No NFC Title games no SBs. Jerry Jones has proven he doesn’t no anymore NOW than he did THEN. Oh others will say otherwise bc of their loyalty to Jones and the STAR, yet no significant Championships in over 20+ yrs. Great Story💯
@sbnation alright you guys make great content and you come up with great substance to your stories. As a long suffering miami fan. I'm ready. Please make a story on dan Marino never earning his superbowl
This just highlights the amazing success of the Patriots for almost two decades. They achieved a level of consistency that no other team could achieve, regardless of how talented the teams were (90s Cowboys, early 2000s Rams, early 90s Bills, late, 80s, early 90s 49ers).
If you want consistency, then Gibbs and the Redskins going to 4 SBs in 10 years and winning three of them with three different QBs, none of them Hall of Famers, shows that in spades.
Great video last time the Cowboys won a Super Bowl I was 12 years old and I’m 38 I told my son the great team the Cowboys Had in the 90s 26 years later I hope the next two years Cowboys win a Super Bowl. How about them Cowboys
It's really difficult to follow up one successful period with another. The Dallas Cowboys aren't the only ones. Look at the San Francisco 49ers. They haven't won it all since 1994 which was their fifth in a 14-year span between 1981 and 1994 despite making SBs 47 and 54.
Jones built the cowboys. However, Jones and Johnson built a Dallas dynasty. Jones worst move was firing Johnson in 1994. Johnson as head coach the cowboys could have won many super bowls.
Packers after the Ice Bowl would be much more reasonable. The question I have asked myself after watching just two of these videos is would that be too ancient, and I ask this as a person who loves to study sport from the really distant past. Then, if Packers after the Ice Bowl is OK, then why not the Yankees after their 1949 to 1964 dynasty - 1965 was the Yankees’ worst season for over four decades??
As bad as being a Texans fan is right now, there's one thing we can hold over Dallas: when our GM was running the team into the ground, we fired him and got a new one ;)
Expectations haven't changed for the Boys since '93. As a Redskins fan, knowing my team is garbage and there's never expectations, it's basically a playoff win equivalent whenever the Cowboys collapse. Season in and out, it never fails, there's Super bowl talk and it never fails, they blow it in the most satisfying way. Always.

Olerud was kinda a mistake but they had Delgado and DHs were dime a dozen back then. Their issue was not having their aces good throughout late 90s. Hentgen killed it then struggled . I can definitely binge watch 2 seasons of this in one day. Not "Collapse," just this episode 20 times straight.

Yeah Jerry on straight up BS treating Jimmy like that. He should've been welcomed into the HOF a long time ago as well
Hes got his rings, his respect, and his spot in canton, i think hes okay
This narration makes me respect Patriots dynasty even more. A dynasty can never sustain if it is based on star players alone. It needs great quarterback, a good coach and non interfering owner. New England checks all three boxes.
To put together a dynasty like that you need one of the greatest to ever play the position. Tom Brady is the goat. The Bill Russell/MJ of Football.
Look at the Patriots now. Still reasonably good, but not as dominant as they were.
Foh cheating bloodclot franchise
Plus, a hard salary cap to deal with. The Cowboys didn't need to deal that during their dynasty's formation years. The Pats dynasty will never be topped. It was perfect, despite the cheating allegations

For lots of Cowboys fans, Jerry Jones should never have hired Jimmy Johnson. He should have kept Tom Landry.
broadstreet21 I don’t think so.

Now I want a beef history on Jimmy Johnson and Jerry Jones.
If Jimmy Johnson hadn't been fired, the Cowboys could have won 5 Super Bowls in a row or at least 5 in 7 years.
@@renshawjoshua I disagree. From what I heard, Jimmy sounds like he could have gotten it done

As a Cowboys fan I always knew this video was coming, so here we go.

It’s born out in the numbers.
you said dallas spend 4 to 1 over bufflo, hahaha, not even close.

It was because of jerry both the championships and the collapse
@@aroobism Only 90%? You are being to kind
Jerry was the reason for the championships in the 1990s because he outspent everybody. Here is the timeline for the NFL salary cap:
1992-93: Cowboys win Super Bowl
1993-94: Cowboys win Super Bowl
1994: NFL introduces salary cap
1995-96: Cowboys win Super Bowl
1996: NFL levels gigantic fine on Jerry Jones for cheating salary cap during 1995-96 season by backloading contracts
1996-2019: 0 Super Bowls. 0 NFC championships. 2 1st round playoff wins total.
Wait what about those 13-3 teams in '07 and '16? Do they not count?
I knew it was gonna happen eventually. SB Nation, thank you for making my week 🤧😢.
That would probably only happen once Jones stops being a GM.

Haha, same here
What about the departure of Ken Norton, Jr?

@@derekwillette447 They added that in 2004 & it was still rising in popularity. It wasn't entirely that until they kept changing it in the mid 2010's
Lame

It was the 49ers with only one quarterback.
If you want consistency, then Gibbs and the Redskins going to 4 SBs in 10 years and winning three of them with three different QBs, none of them Hall of Famers, shows that in spades.
You respect the cowboys for their success but it's amazing how much their fans talk no Superbowl since 1995 and counting

This is amazing I love seing every step of how the cowboys dynasty died
Great video last time the Cowboys won a Super Bowl I was 12 years old and I’m 38 I told my son the great team the Cowboys Had in the 90s 26 years later I hope the next two years Cowboys win a Super Bowl. How about them Cowboys
It's really difficult to follow up one successful period with another. The Dallas Cowboys aren't the only ones. Look at the San Francisco 49ers. They haven't won it all since 1994 which was their fifth in a 14-year span between 1981 and 1994 despite making SBs 47 and 54.
Y’all have to do the OKC Thunder Collapse Next.
They already have it.
Easy enough. The owner didn't want to lose money to pay them.
Jones built the cowboys. However, Jones and Johnson built a Dallas dynasty.
Jones worst move was firing Johnson in 1994.
Johnson as head coach the cowboys could have won many super bowls.
His 2nd was not drafting randy moss in 98 that could've been a game changer.🤦🏽♂️
@@seanblaze4788 please don’t bring up anymore bad news 📰 I can’t take anymore lol
Do the 49ers after the Harbaugh era or my Packers after SB 45
Your packers still great team that comes Bears fan
@@bearstown19show no theyre not lol
johnstjohn1987 GB didn't really collapse until like the 2017 season
Always.
Please do a collapse of the 49ers they've got some good runs and downfalls.
Packers Collapse Ideas:
1. The post-Lombardi dark ages (1970s-80s)
2. After Reggie White and Mike Holmgren left (early 2000s)
3. After Super Bowl 45 until Mike McCarthy was fried.
They went to the playoffs 6 more years in a row and then missed twice due to injuries and lack of adjustments.... if that's a collapse I wish the 49ers would have one.
Do the collapse of the blue jays after their second World Series victory
As a Blue Jays fan, I don't think that's going to happen because that collapse is still going.
Olerud was kinda a mistake but they had Delgado and DHs were dime a dozen back then.
Their issue was not having their aces good throughout late 90s. Hentgen killed it then struggled . By time Halladay was in rotation Clemens was gone.
97 and 98 Blue Jays were incredible teams. Just in a competitive division and not enough backend arms
I hope you guys eventually do a Collapse on the Ried Era Eagles. One of the greatest teams to never win a Superbowl in the modern era. From numerous Conference Championship defeat to the Superbowl loss to the infamous Dream Team.
Are you trying to be funny
@@tcollier5460 how is that funny? That's a great topic. Either the Reid era Eagles or the Doug Pederson era
@@thepassingstatic6268 Andy was the greatest coach in franchise history, but suffered many disappointing loses in the postseason. Those championship loses were brutal, especially Tampa! It's hard to believe that he never won a championship with the Eagles. However, I think Pederson was treated very unfairly! He won the only Superbowl championship and was treated like yesterday's news, his era was cut short unjustly
Deion, to me, as a Niner in the 90s, was the best player in that team (more entertaining too).
This series seems custom designed for the 1985 Chicago Bears.
@Harry Engel however, the Raiders won 3 championships over 8 years. The Bears never even reached the Super Bowl again during the 1980s.
The bears are like the Knicks an overrated big market team that hasn’t won a title in decades 35 years for the bears 47 years for the Knicks
@@imusama1876 I read somewhere that the Knicks have the highest estimated value of any NBA franchise. I believe it since everything is more expensive in New York.
As an eagles fan, to hear this beautiful story from a cockroach cowboys fan is a glorious symphony. But you're greatly undervaluing the importance of Jimmy Johnson, and how all 3 of those superbowls are non existant without him. Aikman himself has said the 3rd SB win was thanks to enough of JJs culture and roster talent remaining and running on fumes. The big picture is that Jerry Jones made only 1 great decision during his entire reign as owner, and that was hiring jimmy johnson.
Cockroach you say, you Eagles cockroaches cheering an end to a player career, always classy Eagles fans, losers.
Lmfao yeah if you were an Eagles fan in the 90s I feel your pain because the boys owned their asses 😂😂😂
Have I ever told you the tragedy of Darth Jones?
He's not Darth Jones. He's Emperor Palpajones
@@musyarofah1 Better criminals, Better choking: Palpajohn's?
AudiosurfDocumentor its not a story the Cowboys will tell you
@@musyarofah1 nah your thinking of Darth Belichick in New England the true evil empire of the NFL
The Cowchokers haven't won a divisional playoff game in 24 years.
@NO PATS JIM You mean the 2-10 Giants and the 5-7 Sheegles? Yeah they're both having banner years.
And still can’t catch up on trophy’s that’s how sorry your team is smh
Make it 25 as long as philly wins next week
True, but they got robbed on one “it was a catch”. Other than that they’ve chocked
Anyone else have this pop up in their recommended feed after the Cowboys lost last night?
Do a Dolphins collapes after the Marino era ended.
His team let him down.
@@matthewdaley746 Or he just choked in the postseason more often than not
Ended after that 84 sb loss
I can do one for you in about 10 seconds:
Dolphins during Marino-Era: Had Marino
Dolphins collapse after Marino-Era: Didn’t have Marino
Hope that explains it clearly enough.
Marino never won a big game. So who cares.
Please do the Orioles run from 2012-2017 before falling back into irrelevancy in 2018
Orioles didnt collapse because they didnt even make it to the WS, one ALCS appearance and they got swept... a team has to reach the top for them to collapse. Orioles did neither and nobody thought they would win anyway
11:14 panthers sign Newton...
Kids that’s called foreshadowing
As a cowboys fan born in 1997 this video makes me so sad...
I feel 4 ya bruh .
Can you do a collapse of the San Antonio Spurs dynasty (basketball)?
You should so something like "The worst round of golf deserves a deep rewind" or "The best round of golf round of golf deserves a deep rewind".
This video would have been 30 minutes long if they kept going up to 2019
you mean 30 years long
Oh I can sum it up for you.. he hired jimmy Johnson then fired him.. that’s it.
That's about the size of it.
Best summary ever!
Jimmy wasn't fired, 🤦🏻♂️. Jimmy left on his own. Jerry didn't even know he was leaving. It was a big middle finger to Jerry.
MaddDogg316 He wasn’t fired but he surely did not leave just on his own..
@@thechristianpope9144, the decision to leave was his and his alone. The decision was heavily influenced by Jerry's arrogance and ego, among other things. But to say he was fired is an outright lie.
Our Condolences to a Great Man,Mr.Jimmie Johnson, You were and stay the BEST for DALLAS COWBOYS. Rest In Peace. Nico & Giovanna
The dynasty started to die when Jimmy Johnson left...they did win another one but it wasn't in the same manner...everyone pretty much agrees they needed some luck to win it...they never regained that dominant form..had a couple seasons (07 and 16) where they had a great regular season...got home field adv. thru the playoffs and then lost the 1st game at home...I've learned to not take them serious anymore untill there is serious change ....starting from the top..this is a reasonable pov I believe from any fan....until then i guess will keep livin on 70s and 90s glory..🙄
Guess what, folks? The Dallas Cowboys collapse continues. What a surprise. Not. Saw this coming a mile away.
Dallas should have drafted moss in 98 had Jerry drafted Randy Dallas would have won a 💎
This is what happens when owners meddle into the operation and are in effect, also coaching the team. Both Al Davis of Oakland and Jed York of San Francisco have done the same thing and for the most part resulted in one losing season after another, the exception being when Jim Harbaugh was with the 49ers.
Jed York is why Harbaugh left the NFL. I'm sure they still hate each other's guts.
@@honkhonkler7732 Yep I agree on that. Pretty much a no brainer. Harbaugh can't be expected to coach when he's got superiors breathing down his neck.
The beef between Jerry Jones and Jimmy Johnson deserves its own video. Lots of twists and turns with that that well predates their time together on the Cowboys, depending on whose version of the story you believe.
Since You Did The Jets, Who Didn’t Win a Championship, Can You Do The 2015 Or The Back To Back Blue Jays Or The 1994 Expos?
