I handle this plane sometimes as Ramp-Agent in FRA. YQ-BBL was there last Saturday. The Frankfurt flight does offer Hot-Meals. And the flights are always pretty empty. :) Very friendly crews. We like them.

Vielen Dank für dieses tolle Video und die Arbeit die dahinter steckt! Es sind viele Erinnerungen hochgekommen, da ich drei Jahre in Dushanbe gelebt habe und fast nur mit Somon Air geflogen bin. Die Strecke DYU-FRA war meine Hauptroute allerdings war es zum Schluss meiner Zeit in Tadschikistan, angenehmer via DME nach Deutschland zu reisen da der Flug nach Frankfurt nur einmal die Woche ging. Also, nochmals vielen Dank für den „Tripreport“!

Nice video, a rare airline (I love their livery, even if's a bit simple). That meal was interesting, although better than the cookie I got on AA (in First Class).

Could you fly on Austrian airlines from Vienna directly to Yerevan ( capital of Armenia ) ?

Apple Fan Boy yes, you can but it is not a daily flight. Austrian Airlines flies to EVN only 3 times a week. Low coaster WizzAir also has a nonstop flight. These are the only 2 airlines that offer a nonstop flight between VIE and EVN.

The flight was OK overall, even the food. Just no IFE, but for 4 hours I can just read a book. - Red
Decent legroom, but the rest wasn't much above a discount airline. If I had paid for the sandwich I'd ask for refund.

That was a very long takeoff run.....almost out of runway?
Not really. Dushanbe is a little high, but not enough to make it a problem to take off, especially with a 737, and the runway is more than long enough. What probably happened was the opposite of what you were thinking: when there is plenty of runway length, pilots often accelerate less during the takeoff run and make it longer on purpose to spare the engines.
You should try T’way air sometime

That's the entire departures for the day 0:42, 15 flights (two of which are cancelled.) They really need a second terminal to handle that amount of traffic
Hey Simply Aviation,do you have plan to come to domestic in Thailand,cause i want David(or Felix,Simon(i guess)) go to Nok Air,i been there once from Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok-Don Mueang,the crew are friendly and nice,price are little bit expensive for me(cause i am Vietnamese people) but maybe cheap for all of you,and even have cute livery,which if you fly Nok Air,you will find,cause i will not tell you,hihi,hopely 1 of you guy can join,and remember,the hub of this airlines is BANGKOK-DON MUEANG not Suvarnabhumi Airport,ok

I had a good experience on a Simon Air flight from Dushanbe to Istanbul last year. Cheaper than Turkish, but with fewer amenities. I would fly Simon again.
respect to you Felix but why do we "expect" a hot meal for a 4hours flight? back in the 80's we'd get one but really why ?if you can't go 4 hours without food something is wrong ,ok some do connect flights so no time but the airlines know who they are so give them something to eat ,if your next to someone who has this and you think why not me ?tough s-it !flights are so cheap now people expect far to much for short haul !! i'd just want to get there then relax by the hotel pool or sightseeing them a lovely diner/lunch etc, by the way you never drink alcohol?
tbh it’s fine for me with just a sandwich but still would have expected more as it’s the flag carrier and not a low cost airline like UT I flew to Dushanbe 🤷♂️

You’re lucky you got any food at all. On BA from LHR-OTP it takes 3.5 hours and they serve NOTHING. Not even water. On short haul routes BA is nothing more than a LCC with a legacy carrier label.
On Iberia it is the same.(Which is no surprise since they both belong to IAG.)
