I also went to Vistara airline from Mumbai to Varanasi on A321 neo.The flight was amazing and the Cabin crew take good care of the passengers.The Duration was 2 hours and 5 minutes.It was such a lovely flight,Thanks to Vistara airline and its crew.
Great look at a regional Vistara flight. A long haul on their 787 to or from Europe would be great as a follow up.
I traveled to Paris in November 2021. Very bad experience (though a one off). After push back, the plane stopped halfway through taxiing. After 30 minutes, we were told there was a technical fault and a team was coming to repair. After maybe an hour and a half, captain announced it was all good and started moving again. Again, we didn't enter the runway, and went to a "corner" of the airport. The captain announced, the fault has reappeared. Again waiting for team for repairs. After another hour or so, some people started shouting for food. So food was served while we were still in Delhi. The plane finally departed about 5 hours 30 minutes late. No food was served on flight as they claimed they finally served us on ground. Small snack before landing. So a 8 hour flight turned into a 13-14 hour flight (sitting on the seat) with only one main meal. Again problems at Paris airport because we landed late at night and there was a shortage of staff. Of course it was a bad day and every day experience is most probably not like that.

Vistara was awesome. I had an amazing experience this week when I flew from bangalore to Delhi on a A321 neo. Fantastic service, early arrival, great flight.

Dhaka airport was a fantastic place back in the '80s. The (incoherent) changes made to the terminal in the '90s, to expand capacity, really messed it up. Hopefully, the new terminal would make things better.

I lived and worked in Dhaka in the early 90s on a study for the “new” airport and why it shouldn’t have ever happened.
Needless to say they went ahead because of pockets to be filled. Typical 3rd world shit hole economics!

@@markinboy we submitted the feasibility ages ago. I’m also quite aware that funding was ready.
Does Dhaka still have power issues?
@@islandcactus1508 Did you recommend a place for the airport as part of the feasability study? Currently no one can come to a decision regarding a suitable spot for the mega project. And under the current pressure that the economy is facing due to global issues, the Bangladesh government will not take up any new mega projects (the current ones however will complete). So we will have to wait.

Sorry for the chaos you had to face at Dhaka airport however the new terminal would be built very soon and I hope it would bring a little bit down.
Yeah I always think in such a dynamic Dhaka city , airport is not really good, a massive airport is necessary to meet the needs.

Typical slave mentality. Airports, Seaports, Train stations, Bus stations they all are meant to be crowded. Hustling and bustling is to be there.

also i just wanted to point out that qatar airways sometimes operates morning flights to/from doha using oman air's a330s. i was on one of those and it was a complete surprise to me boarding a qatar airways flight using oman air equipment!

I flew Mumbai from Hyderabad with vistara.
I spotted Kajal Agarwal (Singham actress) on my flight, took photos with her in Mumbai CSMI Airport ❤️😀 saw her child nanny and kajals father too 😁

As a subscriber to your channel, I would definitely recommend you taking a Vistara flight from Delhi to Paris or Frankfurt on their B787-900 equipment. There you’ll experience their Mid haul service.

Hey felix, thanks for flying in vistara specially their new A321. And welcome to India. I hope you enjoyed your time here. Just wanted to know whether we will be seeing any more trip reports of Indian carriers soon ?
Also, I really liked the service offered in the flight by vistara especially the meal, although vistara being an FSC does provide meals in all its flights. And for the first time I saw the hands on experience of vistara IFE and it looks really good. And yes, Vistara design does look very elegant.
P.S. that local dessert you had is called rasmalai. I hope you liked it.
