Airlines pay few thousand dollars to this skytrax, the move the airline gives, the higher rating skytrax gives.. Soo yeah basically its a bribe

And Lufthansa has 5 stars... The only thing Skytrax certificates for sure is its own incompetence and corruption.

I'm really impressed with the amount of food and drink choices, and whenever you want it. Also a gorgeous 787!
It's a good company i think skytrax should give them 5 star. Food is delicious, seats are good, ife very responsive, and their pilot always make a smooth touch down. I've flown with their 777 many time and it's a good experience imo. Ah and the amenity kit so attractive last time I got the green one
They are only good on certain routes. Their African routes have horrendous service and hard product.

Turkish is the new gem in the block , it going to be no sooner the best carrier from Middle East competing with Qatar , emirates ... how come it’s not a 5 star airlines I really don’t understand, the service and flight looks top notch ... one of the best reviews I think from simply aviation ... Turkish business class is classy , the seat looks so attractive in blacks n greys along with a Versace amenity kit, it’s luxury ... the dining I think most brilliant part ... great review indeeed .... I have put a triple tick beside Turkish in my bucket list already . ...
That crappy Skytrax is unreliable, the rating of airlines depend on how much money the Airline pays Skytrax. Don't trust Skytrax, a crappy and dodgey reviewing website

Even on their a330 and 777 aircraft, Turkish offers a superb business class product - food, drink and service superior to ahem 5-star Lufthansa. And the seat layout and comfort is also greater on Turkish than Lufthansa. Skytrax is a big bowl of fishy.

The new ANA Business Class is much better for a hard product, but Turkish somehow *always* manages to edge everyone out by offering excellent catering and service.

Never been to the old Istanbul airport. I was at IST in June and October 2019.
Great international airport.
@@cismancali2246 Pity that it's not used for passenger flights any more. It's now called ISL and IST refers to new airport, which is gigantic but fails in many points e.g. long walking distances, long taxi durations, far far away from city centre, poor public transportation connections etc..
@@mertersun A new metro line to airport is still going on. I'm sure that the transportation with this metro line will be better. Since I've been in Istanbul for years.
@@emircanozad914 It's just stupid to contstruct an airport before transportation infrastructure is completely done. Besides, even though metro system will start to run, it will still takes a long time to get to the airport from city center - far too way longer than old IST. And this metro line will help nothing to other downsides i.e. long walking distances.
This looks like an above-average business class product, so they'd be justified in charging more than other airlines. A luxury experience!
Legend has it they’re still feeding you! That’s one fabulous flight ... more like an airborne spa. I haven’t even flown on a 787 yet. At least I can enjoy it vicariously. 😁👍

Was just in Bali for my honeymoon 2 months ago. Really nice airport. But this video really gives me the urge to fly Turkish airlines business class now. I'm so happy I've found this channel. Great Video.

Wow that looked like an amazing flight! I’ve flown Turkish before and always found the food to be very good
Just visited the new IST though was flying “pleb class” so used the Miles&Smiles|STARGold lounge on the opposite mezzanine. From what I could see from your video the two lounges are carbon copies of one another, from the piano in the entry area to the Moro-racer table and video wall. The TK lounge at the old IST was considered the best lounge in the STAR system (excluding SQ’s The Room or UA’s Polaris) and this one (these two) have kept that reputation.

Flew with Turkish airlines last Christmas on B789 on their Istanbul-Bogota-Panama city-Istanbul route.Excellent flights,service and of course catering.Looking forward to fly with them next Christmas again for my tour of Japan trip.Their business class is 5 stars for sure!!!
I can honestly say this lounge is probably the most impressive business lounge I've ever stepped foot in. Of course, I've not been in any first class lounges... but Turkish Airlines have really impressed me here!
Turkish airlines has probably the best business class, my experience says that i was on board Turkish airlines b777 300er from Mumbai to Istanbul and the flight was really fantastic! Turkish airlines 👍👍

The lounge is amazing but the business cabin is claustrophobic ! The colour choise and the material is good BUT the bed is uncomfortable :(
The double seats in the middle shakes too much at takeoff and during turbulence... the old business has less privacy but much more comfortable...

From what I saw, it's frugal compared to the one they used to have at old Atatürk airport. It was gigantic, three floors, even with a complete movie theater in it!

@@GracemarieJohnson2763, yep. And a playground for the kids, a game arcade for the older kids, showers, sleeping suites, a massage spa, several buffets and bars, and much more. It was widely regarded as the world's best, largest, and most complete airport lounge.

@@GracemarieJohnson2763, did I mention that the food buffets were separated by theme and cuisine? Like one just for typical Turkish food (of course there had to be one, which was also halal for Muslim travelers), one just for pizza, one just for sushi, and so on? All 24/7, because Istanbul is a connecting airport for very long flights and the time of the day doesn't matter much for the stomachs of travelers just arriving from crazy time zones and heading for others, like someone connecting there when flying from Mexico City to Jakarta, for example... Such connections can be very lengthy and passengers want to spend their time well. Or take the brutal assortment of newspapers and magazines in many languages, brought fresh in their own planes' cargo holds... And so on and on and on...
Qatar Airways' first-class lounges in Doha are regarded as the world's most luxurious, with the finest food and drink, a concierge to escort you to the plane, etc., but no one could match the old Turkish Airlines lounge in size and completeness, and no one still can. Not even Turkish Airlines itself now, it seems.
How awesome is that Carrera racing track in the lounge and the Business Class catering looked amazing.

On demand dining is only done on some flights leaving late at night, I believe. Recently had on-demand dining on the way out to Hanoi, but the full dinner with starters and desserts served from the trolley on the way back.

For me, Turkish Airlines is all about their excellent food. It is great in all classes. In this case also liked the presentation with the electric "candle". Good report!
Yes! I flied a similar business class in summer it was amazing, simply because they upgraded my seat, I was flying from Istanbul to Doha, and my seat was 26F (I chose it by online check-in), the flight got delayed 90 mins to change the aircraft, so at the boarding gate they upgraded my seat to 1E along with selected few..

This airline is LITERALLY my bucket list even though they have the new first class suits etc this airline I have heard nothing but good things turkey to Bali definitely a must for me now then a short trip back home to oz from Bali perfect

Turkish Airlines is great. It's good they serve Turkish food because it's excellent. I stayed at The Langham hotel in London and after one poncey new cuisine garbage meal there, I wanted to find a nearby good restaurant. I found a Turkish restaurant and myself, brother and partner ate there every night for a week and none of us had the same meal twice. Excellent.

i'm from jakarta, indonesia, and welcome to our country ( again ) if you like to, you can travel to perth from denpasar, and the interesting part is, in the morning, you may find that there are more flight to denpasar. and by the way, why if we land in denpasar, we always land from west ? the evidence is, you pass bali mandara toll on your approachment at 18:00 and in the noon you can see garuda wisnu kencana statue that higher than liberty
What an amazing airline, hope I can fly with TK soon
