Matt, some great parts in that Graveyard of cars and trucks. If you had a ton of money. You might pick up one reasonable. And if looking maybe for specific part or so. Those cars have stripped pretty bare. Nice that you gave us this tour. Appreciate your work. That Junkyard is spread out for sure. I’m sure the pups were helping entertain you. Lots and lots of exercise. Your correct you need to explore in order to find what your looking for. Thanks as always for sharing your work.

Very cool old car and truck junkyard reminds me alot of a junkyard called Agar Auto Salvage I used to go to that was once located in Belle Fourche South Dakota now since been crushed out which :( it was to very big cars an trucks everywhere they were all lined up to when it was there it was the type of yard you could go into and find parts for all most any car great vid loved seeing the International Scouts and the Chevy Vegas sure could use a few of the parts off them both the Brown Hatchback for mine it crazy that Vega Wagon is a GT model and it still holding it's ralley wheels with the center caps and rings 👍
That one black car with the curved back glass is either a 68 or 69 Plymouth Barracuda. Those older cars look like they're from wwll Era & the old tanker truck was saying goodbye. See you next time

Wonderful gallery of automotive art. Sadly we do not have anything like this yard in the UK .... But I would spend hours taking photo`s in a place like that` you are just walking through history.

24:57 - 1955 to 1962 Alfa Romeo Giulietta spyder! - top price in 2018: 75K! -- Gooding auction. So maybe more now...? Even in its current state, that little white sports car is one of the better places to spend money and time...

The 1964 Plymouth Valiant was the first year of the "Barracuda" even though the vehicle was technically a Valiant body and displayed Valiant emblems until 1966 when the Barracuda fish emblem was added. The fast back large slanted rear window, like the orange one you show, was the design for the 64-66' models. I was in high school in 65' and don't guess I realized the "Barracuda" was just a souped up Valiant.

I been there two years ago. Last week I went to French Lake Auto Parts and that have a total different feeling. This one is more natural, non-organized. Everything just frozen in time. I like to wonder around and just spend some time. I like those junkyards and I will be back at spring.

Check out rohners just a couple miles away. Cars left that been there since they opened in the 50s
The white 2 seater is a corvette convertible.
45:00 - 1966 Barracuda ("don't call me Valiant") - the 1964 n 1965 had round segments in the lower part of the tail light. 1966 went all squared off, like this one. They are based on the Valiant, but only the 1964 had a Valiant script on the back. Then Chrysler woke up and dropped the Valiant name plate when realized their market was not sensible citizens seeking a nice economical touring car, but was the same market Mustangs were chasing: Coming-of-age Baby Boomers looking for cheap sporty fun.

64-65 Plymouth barracuda that back window is worth money.
The cars used to look better than the new cars.
You can see large sections of the yard were scraped long ago what is left is so cut up and picked over there is nothing worth most anyone's time sad very sad thanks for the look
The bodies dont look rotted and some real nice iron sitting there.

45:25 My 70 y/o Dad talked a lot about his 64 or 65 Barracuda he had when he was young. I think that back window being rare is a myth perpetuated (I don't think I've said that word before) by a TV show on discovery years ago. I think they "accidentally" broke one for ratings. There was a red one propped up near the beginning of your video with an intact rear window. Edit: Nvm, you showed it again right after haha!
In your video was a*split rear window VW. Very rare and pricey. And besides that, another fine video of how time and elements mix for the passage of a way of life. If you had transported bad in time and were to show this to any auto line worker for the Big 3. It would have been, too much to handle. It us like some long running experiment. This yard was pucked over it seems more than others? The passage of time shown in this manner us very powerful. Like√ those snowy Christmas scenes in the clear plastic containers with the snow glitter moving all about. All the years in cars can be seen *all at once√ peace Matt. A little feeling of sadness, as the years pass, probably not gonna get any better for these rides. Can't help but think, each one had their share of memories made, Fri/Sat night girl sittin close cruisin to wherever, mom and pop and families going to holiday dinner at gmoms. being privy to all the good and bad stuff humans do in a car. each one when new, the ole' man talking about "how she would fly"....
How many years of solitude could the average person handle sittin in one spot?
If the world gives up tomorrow, this Iron will be here for decades to come. Each one, even the oldest with a story of lives come and gone, ending here in this quiet resting place, close as we get to.....forever. a little sad, wonder what the conversation is when no ones around?

So sad to see all of them just rotting away. I'm a Mustang guy, but I hate to see any of them wither away. I know you can't save them all.....but with that many of them, you would think there is enough to make one good car out of all those junk ones. I could never own a place like that. My OCD would kick in so bad. I would want every thing totally organized by year, make, and model.
