Among a LOT of toy restoration videos I watched, this is one of the top five (out of the works of at least 750 of the best in here, some with 500K+ subs) The way you made the restoration is one amazing piece of art by itself. But also the way you edited your video and the efforts you put in recording it is another piece of art. And last, but not least, the toy itself was glorious and became glorious once again thanks to you... Big applause from here, congratulations, you've put a rare master toy restoration video in every sense. 🎉
This car has been aged artificially. All that heavy rust is just surface rust and is bright orange. It has been recently exposed probably to salt water.
@@christo930 I was wondering if this was the case. You are right, bright orange rust is a tell-tale sign of an object being exposed to salt water. If this is what happened with this car, it is still pretty amazing how he 'restored' it.
First off, I’m honestly amazed that the metal parts weren’t Swiss cheese under all that rust! But secondly, I love how you restore each part, then add it to the car, instead of restoring everything and then assembling the car!!! Awesome job!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️
An absolutely superlative resto. I am particularly impressed by your use of high content solids primers/paints as opposed to body filler to level the pitted metal.
I never saw myself sitting here watching a video like this, but I must say - that's really cool. To see how they constructed toys back in the day.. the ingenuity and attention to detail. I admitted to a coworker that I probably would have pitched something like that in the trash. I'm glad someone has the patience and know-how to restore things like this. Awesome job!
I enjoy watching you clean up and fix toys. I like the fact that you just record what you're doing and don't have no kind of music or nonsense like that it's just straight-up work and it's pleasant to watch.
You Sir are the GREATEST RESTORER I have ever seen. You are officially the MASTER RESTORER. There is Nobody better than you. Thankyou for the hundreds of hours you dedicated to the restoration of such a piece of Antiquity
Your use of the sewing machine (a much underrated power tool) was satisfying. I particularly liked the double stitched seams. When you put the rivets in the bumper I thought you had one of those very expensive rivet setters. When you used the automatic centrepunch I was blown away! I had never considered that. Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.
You really are a master, something that anyone considers finished, you resurrect it and you know a lot about these things. Many congratulations from Argentina
That is amazing how you restored a rusty old toy car to looking like new. I did not know it was electric until you disassembled it. I thought that it was too far gone from all that rust, but you restored it and replaced some missing parts. Excellent work.
I think I speak for everyone, well the 15k who liked it, when I say that I wish this had been an hour-long video with more of the restoration processes shown.
really great work, congratulations. i just wonder why someone as capable as you didn't also create the radiator in metal or 3D resin, it would have been perfect.
What a great restoration.you've restored every single part of it, not only that you even restored the missing part spend's so many hours just to restored it.respect that!

That must have been an expensive toy back in the day. great restoration too.
I cant imagine how much a toy like that would have cost. A kid that got that would be lucky as heck or come from a well to do family.
It’s not old. These guys bury their “restoration projects” in the ground for a few months or so to artificially age them.
@@kriscarver-seaboyer9204That's what i thought. Many plastic parts, modern battery pack. But the aging was nicely done, i almost bought it.
