There's probably an explanation for this and I'm probably dumb but: During the empress fight Joseph created a map out of sand to find a barrel of tar Couldn't he do the same but to find dio's mansion?
Back in your part 6 video you mentioned someone's comment about how Emporio seemingly "dropping a plot point" as well as giving up his mother's bone when he first meets Jolyne. You then proceeded to debunk the bone confusion part of their comment but not the other supposed Araki forgot moment about Emporio being a figure from the future. I don't personally think it's an Araki Forgot since Emporio could've been referencing a few things in his comment. But you didn't debunk in the video, so it's more of a "Hamon Beat Forgot"
Araki never explained how the frog Will Zeppeli punched manage to survive for 100+ years and move to Italy (where it was eaten by Doppio). His biggest blunder if you ask me.
It's simple really. The hamon that went through rhe frog supercharged it and slowed its aging (like hamon masters are known to do). It then stowed away on a ship from England to Italy, drawn by the power of Giorno's gravity, since he was connected to frogs via Fate.
“Joseph could’ve gotten another pair of clackers” Ah, yes, because there was a store that sold clackers in the vampire lair. How could araki have been so blind?
@@rivershen8954 why would a non jojo fan watch this araki forget extra video with many spoilers and scroll down to the comment section and find this particular comment and read the replies
I always just thought Joseph's clackers were a running gag. He was so desperate to have a "thing" like Caesar that he kept trying to shoehorn it into his moveset. I consider it character development that he stopped trying to use it.
Yeah, that's literally what it was Though there was one particular moment where they were serious, and that's when wammu let Joseph beat him up with them for a bit since he was the first person to break his skin They're also super prominently featured in the part 2 opening and all star battle, which isn't a fault of either of those things, but definitely might have led people to thinking they were more important than they actually were
Not only that, but Joseph's real "thing" is being versatile in a fight. The clackers were an integral part of his first fight with Wamuu, just like the Tommy Gun and grenades were in his fight with Straizo, the cactus in his fight with Donovan, his own hair against Santana, the string against Esidisi, etc. He uses a different weapon in almost every fight, but people treat the clackers as the exception and not his pre-established character. I think people are just obsessed with them because he calls them his signature attack (and yeah, meta-wise they are a pretty iconic part of young Joseph as a character) which like you mentioned is because Ceasar had his bubbles, but this is clearly Joseph talking out of his ass like he always does.
To be fair, Diavolo will never get to experience death (unless you see him getting stabbed as a canon death and the rest as being part of GER), so it's more of a "nearly-dying" loop.

Videos like this convince me that "Araki Forgot" isn't a writing problem, but a reputation problem. It's normal for unimportant elements (like traveling) to be resolved offscreen in a story, but because Araki supposedly "forgets" all the time, people hyperfixate on it.
It is both people not wanting to think and a reputationissue. I once experienced a "Sonic forgot"-moment in that fanbase. Two instances back to back of people making utter nonsense up about things related to a topic. In the first case, it was a thing a game should have clarified, but didn't, but it could very easily be inferred by the plotprogression. The other one was literally "Why didn't they clarify this *ABSOLUTELY UNIMPORTANT* detail in this game about something entirely diffrent!?" Humanity really just regressed, if it ever had high IQ standarts to begin with.
Its because secondaries came into this story and they know its supposed to be a revolutionary shonen series so they feel like smart cinemasins fans when they can point out "problems" with it.
This is definitely true. Take Neon Genesis Evangelion. It's popularly said that the show ran out of budget, so people who don't know any better proceed to apply that information to fucking everything even when it isn't appropriate. There's a scene in an episode about the porcupine dilemma where there's just a static shot of Shinji on the train platform and its still and relatively silent for about half a minute, and people legit accuse that scene of only being there because of budget issues. Because what the fuck is establishing a mood using basic cinematography.

About why Joseph didn't get new clackers, it's worth pointing out that there wasn't any time to get any new gear between the moment they were broken and the end of Part 2. After they're broken, Lisa Lisa bluffs about the Super Aja being rigged with a bomb to escape from the 100 vampire ambush, Joseph is allowed to go back to retrieve the stone, then he immediately goes back to the place where he and Wamuu are supposed to fight. From that point on, it's a straight line to the ending, with no opportunity to replace the clackers in-between.
Good comment, but "Joseph is allowed to go back and retrieve the stone." ignoring the fact that he could've just... also got a new pair of clackers on the way there and back...

It's kind of a sad reality for a fandom, luckily Araki doesn't even know about this kind of stuff, cuz the Japanese fandom is definitely better, having them know the cultural impact of JoJo in Japan, they actually maintain some respect to the work of Araki or mangakas in general.
"Watch 'er tits wobble! i got a stand beneath my belt!" is probably the most hilarious piece of written text in any manga ever and I'm officially mad they missed putting that scene in the anime.
14:17 How is it possible to pay this much attention to a single line of dialogue, in the manga no less, and then somehow relate it in your mind to a completely separate character from A DIFFERENT PART 12 YEARS IN THE FUTURE living in ANOTHER CONTINENT. It's hilarious to me that the Luca "theory" also literally implies Araki would remember smth he wrote back in Part 3 and make a side character based on that, not much of an "Araki forgot" in the first place.
It just baffles me how JoJo fans can either twist, or simply misunderstand information. I remember some people arguing that Star Platinum cannot break diamond because at the end of the High Priestess fight Jotaro said that her teeth were low on calcium. I thought it was pretty clear that the diamonds being “low on calcium” was meant to be one of Jotaro’s many one liners (Even though I think the teeth weren’t as hard as diamonds in the first place, and that was just a way to say that her teeth were very hard). It just goes to show that most of the fans that argue about this sort of stuff have both a reading and comprehension level equal to that of a baby.
Also, diamond is not actually that durable. Diamond is _hard,_ meaning that it's resistant to scratching (in fact, no naturally-occurring mineral can scratch it other than itself). However, it is not very resistant to _fracture_ (it's actually very easy to break a diamond just by hitting it with a hammer).

You could even argue that Stroheim being in the plane in the anime isn’t a forgotten statement either, as the subtitle line is changed from Joseph simply acknowledging he was in there to him asking when he got there, and Stroheim not acknowledging it at all. I wonder why people don't understand the thing with the Holy Corpse and Stands. Even in Part 3-6, Stands weren't ONLY formed by the arrow, some were created by the mastery of something, while some people are just born with them. It's reasonable to assume that in Part 7, things other than the Holy Corpse can create Stands too.
@@SMLVods Yeah, exactly. I highly doubt the Boom Boom family had a corpse part, but they still had a stand. Johnny also kept Tusk even after he lost all corpse parts.
Couldn't it be possible Jotaro was aware of the time stop before he approached dio but didn't fully understand it? Dio barely used it prior to the fight and it was so short he might have just thought he was imagining it. When Dio fought Kakyoin and Joseph, Jotaro wasn't there but would have started noticing it for real. And when Joseph told him straight up what happened and he saw it, the pieces would have clicked. That was why he was confident enough to approach dio right after he witnessed Joseph get stabbed during a time stop. He already made the connection as soon as Joseph explained it and he saw Dio use it? Or maybe I'm just overthinking it.
I think also at a sertain range Jotaro couldn't feel the timestop. Imagine if he became aware of timestop before the last fight. Then everything would just freeze to him sometimes and he couldn't do anything about it.
I figure he probably didnt get it til the fight, if only because once the fight starts he pretty much masters the ability over the course of 3 real life minutes, so it doesnt seem to take much to learn it once you know its possible. it's kind of funny how 20:05 can be disproven by the sole fact that Part 1-6 exist. Because there are infinite universes, one of them must literally be the universe where the first 6 jojo parts are in. If the corpse parts are the only things that make stands, then all official jojo stuff before SBR's release must have not existed.
This. It also makes sense that D4C couldn't just get the arrow, since to look through an infinite amount of universes would take infinite amount of time, so technically it's also possible that an infinite amount of Saints Corpses exist aswell, D4C just hasn't found them yet.
EOH doesn’t even take place in the main universe (in the case of part 4 at least) as the ending shows Jolyne with Jotaro in part 4, which is not canon meaning even if the events happened, none of the characters are from their main universe.

To add onto the Clacker Volley discussion, the main reason it worked on Wamuu was because he was caught off guard. However, Wamuu is smart enough to learn to not be fooled again, and Joseph knew this, meaning it would be rather useless to try it on him again
About the coffin: Iirc in the official part 3 subtitles don't the sailors explicitly point out that it's locked from the inside? I'm an anime only fan (except for parts 6 and 7 ofc, I haven't read part 8 yet) and I remember knowing that the coffin was locked from the inside. I mean, to be fair, it is a pretty small detail that would be easy to forget or just miss entirely.
@@dandelion5691 I would personally say that barely all parts of JoJo are relatively long, so it's not easy for most of people to remember every single detail explained in it. Plus, when someone finds an error somewhere, they'll just stop there and not going further to check if what they found is actually correct, while it's Hamon Beat's work to find why people think about some errors that don't exist. So I'd say that JoJo fans aren't dumb, they're just maybe a little bit lazy, but like almost every other person on this planet for some situations.
The fact that the lock only opens from the inside does call into question the plausibility behind the 2 compartments of the coffin. In the pt 3 video, Hamon Beat says Dio made 2 compartments so as to avoid having someone accidentally open it during daylight… but if it only opens from the inside, that's not a real issue if only Dio decides when the coffin opens.
17:28 For the "Foo Fighters can drown" one, I also want to point out that FF was _NOT_ being drowned in water - Kenzo himself explicitly explained that his attack released drops of a liquid that is more like engine oil (and obviously, water and oil are rather incomparable). Meaning that it was more like internal bleeding, which even sea life is susceptible to, rather than literally drowning in H2O like a normal human in sea water.
Headcanon: Jotaro was consecutively using time stop to reach Jolyne and "shorten" the time it would take, indirectly "training" his timestop. Timestop appears to function like a muscle where more use increases the time you can stop but neglecting to use timestop will lead to it weakening.
Well, to be fair, it's sort of true. He took a standard villain of the week fight and stretched it out to way more chapters than normal, then says it's the main villain and that the part is over. Every other part sets up the main villain beforehand and has a climactic final battle, whereas part 8 has a bunch of chase chapters that spontaneously end with Josuke using a random super ability to kill the villain without any sense of an actual battle. Plus, rock insects... If Tooru was set up earlier in the part, had more actual character/development/motivation, and the final fight was written with clever tactics used by both sides then I would accept it as the ending, but as it stands it feels like Araki just got sick of doing Jojolion after 10 years and wants to move on rather than giving it a proper conclusion.
@@Jordan3DS I make no statement on the truth or not, I don't want to be in the 2 hour long montage either way it goes, I'm just certain the montage will be there.
@@Jordan3DS to be fair Tooru was indeed set up as an important player with the Yasuho flashbacks and all that and making you think he is just some guy when introduced. But I do agree that Tooru feels VERY underwhelming compared to the likes of Dio or Funny Valentine. @@Jordan3DS Think about it, didn't the same thing happen in part 4? The main villain at first seemed to be Akira Otoishi then they fight more enemies and at last Kira is introduced. @@loshtrimpo8781 Kira is actually introduced before his final arc, though. This would be like if Dio never showed up in part 1, then at the very end Jonathan is like "oh look, it's my adopted brother that I never mentioned until now, guess he's the final boss!"
If it hasn't already been done, how about what the Stands' designs are based off of. For example: Greatful Dead/Thankful Death's design is based off of the Teke Teke woman. 19:54 I genuinely didn’t notice that hot pants had two cream starters. Even in the panels showing it’s too easy to miss she is holding two unless it’s pointed out as one is usually obscure when the other is showing. Their are two cream starters is something everyone had memoried holed until the anime makes it obvious.
I love how these Araki Forgot people seem to treat Kakyoin as some kind of all knowing god so if he says something or does something, it must be absolutely true and important. Kakyoin uses some random bullshit items just cuz? No! Those are important, God Emperor Kakyoin has an important reason for holding a canvas and using a puppet for his Stand! Evil Kakyoin saying no one can deflect Emerald Splash is just him being cocky? No, its 100% accurate, Araki just forgot this! Kakyoin saying there is no such thing as a mirror world is just him realistically not knowing every possible Stand ability? NO! He is correct so when a Stand does use a Mirror World its a plot hole, Araki Forgot! Now he mentions a friend with an eye injury (that fully recovered...) and they assume it must be a main character and not just some unseen person from Kakyoin's past. People...you do realize that characters can be wrong, right? They can be over confident, they can mention things that are unimportant, they can do things for shits and giggles. Its this weird paradox where people think Araki writes every single little thing as important, which would imply he's thinking very hard about every aspect of his story...while also thinking he forgets everything. So...does he over think every aspect of his universe or forget every aspect of his universe? You can't have both. Stop taking every line of dialogue as absolute fact and just consider it within the context it is said. Kakyoin said there was no mirror world when discussing a Stand that did not use a mirror world for its abilities, within the context of this conversation, its true. Its only false later in the series when a Stand is created that does use a mirror world but Kakyoin is dead at this point and would have no way of knowing, but he was right when discussing Hanged Man. The main characters aren't suppose to be all knowing, stop treating them as such...
I think it's a byproduct of how a lot of modern media try to make everything interconnected with references going in every which way to make it seem deeper. Like for example the Marvel movies, where even the distant background can be packed with references to other Marvel media.

Some extra topics I'd like him to cover. :The ghost hands alley versus various characters? What if wonder of u or tooru looks back? What if vanilla ice looked backed and shifted into his ball mode? Just a bunch of interesting stand users vs hands match up. Is the WoU's calamity power relative to the target's durability? I.e. ordinary damage can literally kill humans but what about ultimate kars? Tooru is only aware of the power's capabilities since it was only done on human but he has never met kars before. Would WoU be able to actually kill kars? Best case scenario for him is to hold down kars with calamities and have a plane crash on top of him with the force of an asteroid. Possibly obliterating all of kars.

I always just thought Joseph's clackers were a running gag. He was so desperate to have a "thing" like Caesar that he kept trying to shoehorn it into his moveset. I consider it character development that he stopped trying to use it.
Same tbh. They were always either goofy or useless and it was painfully obvious he was only using them to show off his style.
But then again, it's Joseph. He's a goofy guy who can be smart in his own way.
Yeah, that's literally what it was
Though there was one particular moment where they were serious, and that's when wammu let Joseph beat him up with them for a bit since he was the first person to break his skin
They're also super prominently featured in the part 2 opening and all star battle, which isn't a fault of either of those things, but definitely might have led people to thinking they were more important than they actually were
Not only that, but Joseph's real "thing" is being versatile in a fight.

There's a scene in an episode about the porcupine dilemma where there's just a static shot of Shinji on the train platform and its still and relatively silent for about half a minute, and people legit accuse that scene of only being there because of budget issues. 17:17 The anime didn't neglect to cover that either, they didn't animated the scene where Narancia write but they animated when he tries to point out a direction and his arm flick to the opposite direction, that alone show that Talking Head also have control over his action and that writing or interpretive dance or whatever would be also affected
I think Araki saw the Jim Carrey movie Liar Liar and loved the "my pen is Red" scene and made an entire fight based around the concept - but in reverse.
@@PlanetZoidstar It could be it : the movie got released 8 months before the chapter, so it was probably an inspiration

I feel bad that these are so often written off as, "mindless mumbo jumbo" or "assuming Araki has the memory of an elephant" by people who haven't even watched a single Debunking Araki Forgot video, or just don't watch it all the way through.
The weird theories people come up with to "prove" Araki forgot something are ridiculous... Also, can these people pay attention ? More than half of these is because people can't read.

Wow people went from "hey the attack was used once" into "he didn't use it enough"
Next we are gonna have " the attack was used in 10 out of 11 fights so it must have been forgotten"
Edit: also that liky eye lucka thing is most halarious thing i have heard so far from Jojo community next to araki forgetting the wall eye in part 8 and other things of that nature
Truly a bizarre fandom
I liked that in this video you didn't insult at all.
Also, in part two Joseph has brown hair and in part three he has white hair, it is clairly obvius that Araki forgot because he had an accident in his childhood that granted him the stand of Alzheimer and daltonism.
“Babe, wake up. New Hamon Beat video is out”
I like how people didn't understand how people got stands without the saint's corpse, when the original universe stands were obtained by an arrowhead made from a meteor.
Also there are multiple people who are just born with stands. Which is shown in part 7 as well
"Araki Forgot" is basically just "i didn't pay attention to something or speed read throught everything, or even saw something and then just didn't check the earlier pages again to see if it makes sense." Sheesh, it can't be that hard to just think a lil...
These are just people hating on the author beacuse they cant read

I never realize that Hot Pants have 2 Cream Starter. I always assume that it was only one. I think that's because I read the manga in black in white and never the color version. For me, it never jump into my face. That blew my mind a little today. Thanks for the video.
it's kind of funny how 20:05 can be disproven by the sole fact that Part 1-6 exist.
At this point I expect these "fans" to just outright say Araki forgot onto the Jojo video games like Eyes of Heaven's story mode ending.

Exactly, I also remember the same thing!
Yeah. But jojo fans are dumb.
Meaning that it was more like internal bleeding, which even sea life is susceptible to, rather than literally drowning in H2O like a normal human in sea water.
this video ended up more like- "David Productions forgot" xD
Headcanon: Jotaro was consecutively using time stop to reach Jolyne and "shorten" the time it would take, indirectly "training" his timestop.
Timestop appears to function like a muscle where more use increases the time you can stop but neglecting to use timestop will lead to it weakening.
I can feel the tension between the JoJo fans and Hamon Beat

I can't wait for Araki Forgot Part 8: Literally just 2 hours of people saying Araki Forgot to add a main antagonist.
I like to have faith that next chapter will introduce a huge cliffhanger for part 9 and that part will tie up a lot of loose ends from part 8 that cannot possibly be wrapped up with only 1 chapter left, including a top tier villain who has been pulling the strings.
@@Jordan3DS Think about it, didn't the same thing happen in part 4? The main villain at first seemed to be Akira Otoishi then they fight more enemies and at last Kira is introduced. If you look at it Tooru actually had some backstory with Yasuho so Kira seems more like the character you described than Tooru
@@loshtrimpo8781 Kira is actually introduced before his final arc, though. Tooru literally shows up AFTER the Wonder of U arc started, and he didn't even become the villain until many chapters after that. He feels like your typical villain of the week stand fight in every way, which is why it feels like Araki just got sick of Part 8 and wants to move on.
This might take research to find out for most of the Stands, but I think it would be interesting to know what each Stand's design is based off of.

@@leetri Yes,in the earliest of movies there are easter-eggs about some random in-universe BS,but people don't understand that Araki does not almost ever reference things, especially something in the fuckin future (like do you really think araki thought of the whole story of part 5 while writing 3 and put an easter egg there to please the future fans of something that didn't exist). It's bollocks.
I couldn’t stop laughing for 3 min straight at the Leaky Eyed Luca part 😂
"Stands can only be unlocked by the Saint's Corpse, so the other universes shouldn't have Stands!"
You'd think people would realize that there's other ways to obtain a Stand in other universes (this isn't even considering the ways mentioned in JoJolion); infinite universes, infinite possibilities.
I know right?! Like the multiverse exist so outcomes that normally exist can exist in a different world with different rules
Judging how ridiculous some of the Araki forgot’s were last time, this time we’re getting into beyond stupid territory!

Just don't speed read. If you don't care, just stop reading. There is no point in skimming through something half-heartedly.
