Jolyne mentions she can’t give the disk to the speedwagon foundation due to her visitor rights being taken away. Why couldn’t Ermes or FF just give the disk to them
Im wondering why the crusaders in part 3 couldn't just take a private jet? If I remember correctly they didn't want to fly for fear of hurting other passengers in the crossfire, so just remove the passengers? Im sure the speedwagon foundation could hook them up. I suppose (if im not stupid) its more of a plot hole then an Araki forgot, but is there any justification for it?
I still want to see what could be your response to why Alternate World Diego can spam Time Stop while someone like Jotaro couldn't, despite both being humans.
This one's a bit of an oddity. Why is it that Jotaro's memory disc in a dying Anasui was dissolving and on the verge of erasure, but Pucci was able to retrieve Perla's well beyond her death? Did the manga make it clearer that she died in his arms or somesuch?
He also makes jokes that only make sense if you are speaking in Japanese, which Johnny finds just as entertaining (whether that's extremely or not at all I have no idea)
I like the idea of the Joestars purchasing ocean property in the name of the Higashikatas specifically so that Jotaro can use the area for his marine research.
it gets stupider. someone once asked how johnny removed the rock disease from his son with tusk act 4 without being on a horse despite the one manga panel that happens in shows him being on a horse

It would've been so funny if Avdol had set fire to the mansion like Joseph told him to because just imagine in part 6 Pucci gets a hold of Jotaro's memory disc and all he sees is the mansion in flames, the diary completely unseen, and his plans evaporating right before his eyes
I thought that too. Then I also thought couldn't vanilla ice erase the fire with cream which he probably would of did as soon as they caught wind of the idea of burning down the mansion which would of led to vanilla ice fighting everyone still. Still is a funny thought to screw over pucci.
Well, if it was Josuke's family it would kinda make it easier to just ask Josuke for the abalones instead of stealing them, since Josuke definetly wouldnt be that much of a dick to refuse Tonio's plea for help. Especially since then we can see Josuke in the very same chapter at the table with Rohan who's eating said abalones himself (which would kinda give away that Tonio stole them)
@@marleonka. Tonio is not as affiliated with Josuke, Josuke was only a customer at his restaurant once, and angered him on that visit by going into the kitchen without washing his hands first

Hell, it's even debunked during *its very first appearance* when we see the hands briefly manage to pull Echoes act 2 out of Koichi before Rohan puts a stop to it. Literally *every single time the alleyway appears* we get to see the hands grabbing a stand.
I like these videos as a means of clarifying my own understanding of the series. I almost never assume a confusion I have to be "Araki made a mistake", and it's nice when these videos cover something and I can understand why i misinterpreted something in the series.
This. I didn't believe any of the crazier things in the series but he really polished up my knowledge of the series like psychic links and other stuff I find difficult to follow.
My favorites are the ones that take a very minor scene and construct a completely new plot around and then get angry at the story for not following their wild line of thinking. Also, in regards to Giorno's mom, since Fate is a real, tangible thing in Jojo, you could say that Giorno's mom and the rest of the mothers of the Sons of DIO got spared precisely because they were fated to survive and have DIO's offspring.
It's definitely mentioned somewhere that Dio chose mothers that would be more likely to mistreat or neglect their offspring to toughen the kids up in a way that would make them more likely to end up like him (Giorno got the honourable gangster he saved to correct some of that, though)... ...if he met the potential mother in a bar where they were getting pissed as a fart, and trying to chat him up, then that's ideal material as that's not typical mom behaviour... (might be in the Heaven Diary spinoff though) Kind of like Melone vets for 'suitable' mothers for his Juniors...
Ann and Poco were going to be major reocurring characters Shizuka was going to have her own part George's necklace was going to be a major plot point The kid from the Blue Hawaii arc was Emporio. (This was makes the least sense, because *even if* the STR universe was made by Pucci, Emporio couldn't have possibly been around then because Jojolion takes place a year before Stone Ocean
In that one scene with that one character, the character did something when they should've done another thing. I've never read JoJo I just want to feel included,
Yes yes, but see, that one character had to do the one thing, because if he did the other thing then the other character would have got him I have also never read/watched JoJo
I remember a lot of people are confused as to why Giorno needed his brooch to make himself new arms, because he'd been shown to be able to give life to things using his feet. *Giorno was bleeding out during that fight, of course he couldn't use his Stand at full power*
I like to think that Esidisi being a Pillar Man he would have less difficulty on atach body parts and posses full, and even alive, bodies like Suzie Q Dio being a vampire on the other hand and also ataching a whole new resistent body to his head made the full atachment way more difficult
Yeah, folks somehow seem to forget that the Pillar Men powerscale above any vampire (non-Stands of course). Even the strongest vampires are instantly disintegrated from sunlight, but the weakest Pillar Man was tough enough to only be turned to stone (Speedwagon scientists literally confirm that he was still alive in UV light). So EVEN _IF_ Loggins had some leftover Hamon in his dead arm, Esidisi's Pillar Man body is strong enough that he can graft the arm without any problem. Plus, Esidisi _only_ took one arm while Dio stole Jonathan's entire body neck-down.
He could have only ever watched the anime, but then complaining about stuff that's not in the anime yet because it just hasn't been made is pretty amusingly stupid.

@@KaiserMazoku Rohan and Josuke are like the living embodiment of "those two friends who hate each other's guts." I think the only person Rohan hates more is Yukako.
@@maccamachineNot gonna lie, I'm actually kind of afraid that this is going to reach the point where nobody can tell if someone is seriously suggesting Araki forgot or if that someone is just being a troll (sort of like when Hamon Beat went on a JOKE rant about the Part 7 tiny horses). We legit might not be able to figure out who is joking vs who doesn't have reading comprehension.
@@mrreyes5004 ok but like he definitely forgot about the tiny horses. it's the biggest plot hole in jojo and the whole series falls apart without any explanation for them
@@maccamachine These kinds of comments are usually made by people who only blurt out what they hear from shitposting compilations and by other people on the internet without actually knowing the source material. An example for this is the Fate franchise where everyone took Gigguk's video too seriously and now can't disassociate servants from one another without talking about how complicated it is.
one aspect of scary monsters that i think goes under appreciated is the fact that dr ferdinand (the original user of the stand) had a limited knowledge of palaeontology due to the time setting of the part, so their fantastical and unrealistic designs are a result of what was believed at the time rather than being actual dinosaurs. especially when you connect this to how he saw dinosaurs as an unintelligent species of monsters with his whole weird respect morality thing he had going.
Maybe she finally let him invest it into something to help bring more money in for the household. Like renting it to the marine research lab that Jotaro works for.
0:40 seconds Jonathan used all of the Hamon he he had left to manipulate Wang Chan into causing the ship to explode, so saying “it was never stated he had Hamon in his body” Isn’t as accurate as just saying “he used all his hamon”
On the other hand (heh) when DIO burned a finger with a cigarette to show how a certain side of “his” body had weaker regeneration than the other, that was the same arm of Jonathan that Will Zeppeli originally bestowed Hamon into. And I believe that was the same side of DIO that he lost a leg on and was cracked and destroyed by Jotaro. So Hamon is involved here somehow but it’s not the direct reason.
@@halberd-3291 Plus, you also have to consider the difference between Vampire biology VS Pillar-man biology. We know that the Pillar Men are FAR more resistant to sunlight/Hamon than any vampire. Santana was the weakest Pillar Man, but he tanked Joseph's pre-training Hamon and he only turned to stone by sunlight, while vampires like Vanilla Ice were instantly disintegrated by sunlight. Esidisi is much superior to Santana, so the leftover Hamon in Loggins' dead arm just wasn't enough to do anything to Esidisi's internal body at all.
@@halberd-3291Here is a barely educated guess - Jonathan's body was being manipulated by Dio's brain, but was still Jonathan from the shoulders down. Being a Hamon user, it continued producing Hamon to some extent, despite being controlled by a vampire. This might be part of the reason Dio doesn't try to use his ice powers with Jotaro - he's not cold enough to do so anymore.
" How does Gyro sing about pizza when he's American?" " No I've never read the manga" Some jojo literally have no reading comprehension skills, looking goofy af 😂
It’s absolutely insane how slow some of these people are…. Some of these are so braindead and the answer is right in front of you these people just do not pay attention at all
@@maccamachine It's actually even worse than that. For some of these "aRaKi FoRgOt", the answer isn't only right in front of you, but there are times when the answer should ALREADY be in your mind. For example, someone asked why random crows appeared in Illuso's mirror world after Illuso revealed that living beings will only enter the mirror if he chooses it... even though the crows ARE LITERALLY DEAD from Purple Haze's virus and therefore the crows are automatically _not alive._ Because obviously "dead" = "not a living being". These people aren't just missing specific stuff in the manga. They are also somehow forgetting _BASIC REAL-LIFE _*_FACTS._*
5:32 Lol, even Narancia is laughing. 12:57 WHAT?? How the hell did he come to THAT conclusion? In fact, even the anime makes it obvious he's still alive.
Currently on CH71 for JoJolion, cant wait for Araki forgot Part 9. Thanks for the effort you put into these, i always enjoy every minute of it and how insane some of the ''plotholes'' are given by fans.
8:42 Not to mention, a big part of La Squadra arc is that THEY WERE ACTUALLY TRYING to get back together to attack Bruno group Illuso was in Pompeii, Prosciutto and Pesci got on the train but they expected Illuso, Melone was trying to reach them in the train, an Ghiaccio tried to meet up with Melone
I saw this upload and put it in the background as I started making food. After finishing my meal, I only then realised that it was a whopping 30 minutes. I tell you, time flies when listening to these! Great stuff!
I think it makes more sense that diegos ability to make the guards into lamps is an entirely new ability to make fossilized dinosaurs since its such a departure from his other ability
we know stand abilties evolve and that seems to be a constant between universes and maybe having control over the dino virus allowed to make it his own stand and allowed growth
The only real Araki forgot moment i can think of is when he almost named a stand Earth Wind and Fire in part 6, but he remembered and it was fixed. Other than that most of the "Forgot" moments are just fans who didn't read or just didn't understand moments.
you really owe everything to that panel of Avdol talking about how he and the Joestars received their Stands, you've used it to clear up so much misinformation about part 3
I would really like an explanation on how the heck Kira combined Killer Queen with Stray Cat by Opening Killer Queen's stomach (At the End of Part 4). As far as I know it was never elaborated upon and just... kinda happened. Also since Killer Queen is a normal stand whilst Stray Cat is a bound stand, would the fusion of the two just appear as a floating Stray Cat to non-stand users?
Not only that, but if I’m remembering correctly, and granted, I might not be, but Killer Queen had Stray Cat in his stomach when he was summoned. Where was Stray before that? Just off panel, waiting to be picked up by KQ?
I'd actually like a better explanation for that as well. I mean, I would imagine that someone who is very in touch with their Stand could, in fact, alter it...but to combine it with another Stand unrelated to the user? That's what's stumping me
@@tylercoon1791hayato brought him along originally attack kira The attack failed but once he encountered josuke he used that opportunity to get a hold on stray cat
My interpretation of Dio weakness was always on the spiritual level like Jonathan being so righteous that stuff like the distress signal became possible.
My interpretation is that Jonathan's body is still, fundamentally, Jonathan's, so Dio breathing at all is creating just enough Hamon to make taking over the body nearly impossible. By absorbing Joseph's blood, he ensures that he has the right blood type to keep the body alive but also not being Jonathan's blood, so his body can't store the Hamon anymore.
About the Higashitaka in TSKR, there is also the fact that Higashitaka is a common japanese surname, which doesn't mean they're related to Josuke and Tomoko.
Given that it's fictional media, the likelihood that it's just some unrelated Higashikata family is extremely unlikely, especially in the same small town. As someone else pointed out, Tomoko spent a few days with family members after her father died, meaning they definitely have other relatives in the area.
@17:31 Another example, when Diego steals the uniform that he uses in that scene, he transforms and fuses the guard's corpse into the roots of a tree and change its color to hide it.
One huge CRUCIAL detail was never addressed in Part 6. Jolyne's lipstick. She's worn it the entirety of the part, and it seems to be heavily resistant to everything! Perspiration, water, even the time effects of Made In Heaven don't deteriorate it! Araki never made mention of the brand and specific shade of lipstick! How dare he!
18:36 "no, ive never read the manga." WHAT EXACTLY, PRAY TELL, *HAVE* YOU DONE, THEN??? IT'S NOT LIKE PART 7 HAS AN ANIME OUT YET. (Not that that would even excuse this)
with the crusaders deciding to go to egypt theres also the matter of them not knowing if dio moved from there, even after they started their journey joseph used hermit purple multiple times to make sure dio was still in egypt
I love these Debunking Araki Forgot videos. People seem to find problems that don't exist. Most of the time, it's something I never would have considered, but would stuggle to deconstruct. You address all of them perfectly.
Aside topic. Idk if you talked about this in the past, but i keep seeing people say that boingo’s stand tohth predicted jotaro’s deaths in part 4 and 6 however recently I watched part 3 and it was explicitly stated that tohth only predicts things in the near future. And the prediction that ‘jotaro’ gets blown up by a bomb already came to fruition when oingo disguised as jotaro got blown up
Debunking Araki Forgot will seemingly never end, and I am both happy to keep seeing this content but feel bad for Hamon Beat cause there will forever be confusion.
21:17 Josuke Higashikata could be that rich as the whole reason jotaro went to Morioh in the first place was to inform Josuke that he is going to inherit 1/3 of Joseph's fortune he only stays because of the stand arrow lead that he found out about from Angelo. And Joseph's fortune we see in part 3 allowed him to buy 4 plane tickets last minute, charter a ship and crew, buy a luxury car to trade for camels, purchase a biplane, a big ass yellow submarine and pay for all the accommodations and supplies they needed across the 30 days without any worry about running out or his wife finding out while she had at least 1 shopping spree and bought her own last minute ticket to Japan from New York. And Josuke inherited 1/3 of that fortune after Joseph passed away.
Josuke at the time rejected the fortune... But that was 10 years prior, a lot of things can happen in 10 years. You're mentally not the same person you were 10 years ago compared to today. Also he's Joseph's son, im sure he found out a good way to make money on his own.
@@maxsh3623 looking through it the only things that were said to be help from the Speedwagon foundation were the ship captain that was killed by the dark blue moon user and information and I didn't mention anything that they especially did like the buggy and supplies they got when they first got to Egypt. Although I don't have a official translation of the manga so I could be wrong with some stuff.
I always liked to think Josuke actually bought that plot of land just to show off to Rohan and piss him off, and was immediately humbled when Rohan told him he sold his house to buy the mountains mentioned in the mutsukabe hill chapter

16:57 I know that Araki has come out and said personally that Part 7 has no direct connection to Parts 1-6, but I don't think that Diego's use of Scary Monsters disproves anything. I think that, on the meta level, Araki might have intended the following reading: By being infected with Scary Monsters and keeping it via Corpse Part, Diego is actually *prevented* from developing the World. It's implied at the end of Part 6 that DIO the Vampire was completely erased from the timeline due to Pucci's failure, giving the Joestars a happy ending in future timelines. I think that, multiple Big Bangs and Universal Heat Deaths after the Irene universe, the Joestars became prone to tragedy again (especially the Higashikata Family Curse in Part 8). However, Dio was still prevented from becoming a significant threat. Diego's acquisition of Scary Monsters is the universe working to keep him from developing his natural, broken stand, the World. That's a reasonable in-universe explanation for the meta explanation that Araki wanted to kind of bait-and-switch us with Diego as an anti-villain, imo
I feel like removing/inserting discs could be explanded further upon. People may think that Emporion couldn't insert discs and had Pucci do that because that is the Whitesnake's ability. So you should probably also explain that Emporio couldn't insert the disc because he was not fated to do so, and Pucci was the only one exempt from fate.
tbh i think of every person as a dvd player that only Pucci and Whitesnake can interact with. Anyone can insert a disc into the "dvd player" but only Pucci and his stand will be able to eject it (unless, ofc, someone hits a "dvd player" that Pucci already ejected a disc from) Anyone can "force" Pucci to eject their disc (as seen with Weather and to a lesser degree Dio). Edit: Also the C-Moon/Whitesnake time acceleration thing is likely not time acceleration- but a localized and strong gravitational force. Gravity can bend time itself, which is likely what occured here- a really small and strong gravitational pull/push.
The question about how Gyro knows what pizza is does raise an interesting point, though: while Gyro is Italian and therefore knows about pizza, Johnny is American, so that part of the song would have been complete gibberish to him.
@@Hamon_Beat This is the most likely answer, but I also kind of like the idea that it was gibberish to him, but Johnny didn't say anything because he was just agreeing with all of Gyro's jokes and whimsical bouts regardless of if they made sense to him.
7:55 in the over heaven novel, not written by Araki, Dio says something like all the holy women that he met were curses to him, his mother, Erika Pendleton, Holly Kujo. And evil women like Enya were a blessing for him, therefore he decided to let those evil beings free because it would give him support in his quest to heaven. 9:45 the diary is supposed to be the novel over heaven, in the novel he explains his thought process and experience during part 3, he mentions the words there so Pucci would have known
I feel that. I read the second half of part 6 (when the anime was airing) and part 7, but it takes so much mental energy. I pretty much gave up on trying to read part 8. It's kinda unfortunate the anime introduces a lot of plot holes and leaves some points out.
@@Jake28 It’s most likely for the sake of time and most people won’t go nuts over some smaller details. I guess the best thing is to go “If it’s off in the Anime, maybe the Manga explains it in more depth”
DiU questions: Araki forgot that Kira had several broken bones after his first beatdown with Jotaro- "I think one of my ribs punctured my lung," Kira says to Josuke. Apparently even in that damaged state he can outrun the Duwang gang with a ~10 second headstart? Even with Star Platinum punching his legs too? And what happened to his broken bones and wounds when he turns into Kosaku? Does his body just magically heal before sunset? Crazy Diamond "fixing" Kira's hand causes it to magically regenerate his body too? Why does Kira give verbal orders to Sheer Heart Attack to "protect me" and "cover my escape" when its an automatic stand? The manga also has Hayato saying Bites The Dust will "kill anyone else who knows Kira's identity" when Kira is about to reset the loop with the nurse. If that's true, why didn't BTD kill Kira's dad during the first reset? Is his dad immune, even though stands can interact with ghosts? Lastly, What were the Duwang gang planning to do with Kira once they caught him? Kill him? If they wanted to kill him, then Jotaro would've done that with the last ora barrage, but Kira was still alive. Thank you for reading and considering.

(might be in the Heaven Diary spinoff though)

Dio being a vampire on the other hand and also ataching a whole new resistent body to his head made the full atachment way more difficult
5:30 "Natascha." LOL The way he says it is absolutely hilarious as well.
one aspect of scary monsters that i think goes under appreciated is the fact that dr ferdinand (the original user of the stand) had a limited knowledge of palaeontology due to the time setting of the part, so their fantastical and unrealistic designs are a result of what was believed at the time rather than being actual dinosaurs. especially when you connect this to how he saw dinosaurs as an unintelligent species of monsters with his whole weird respect morality thing he had going.
In the Higashikata family case there's also the lottery money that Josuke has in his account that his mother didn't let him spend
Maybe she finally let him invest it into something to help bring more money in for the household.
Like renting it to the marine research lab that Jotaro works for.
0:40 seconds
Jonathan used all of the Hamon he he had left to manipulate Wang Chan into causing the ship to explode, so saying “it was never stated he had Hamon in his body” Isn’t as accurate as just saying “he used all his hamon”

@@maccamachine It's actually even worse than that. For some of these "aRaKi FoRgOt", the answer isn't only right in front of you, but there are times when the answer should ALREADY be in your mind.

Extremely unlikely, because if so then Hayato wouldn't be able to find the Higashitaka number so easily to call Josuke

Josuke Higashikata could be that rich as the whole reason jotaro went to Morioh in the first place was to inform Josuke that he is going to inherit 1/3 of Joseph's fortune he only stays because of the stand arrow lead that he found out about from Angelo.

THIS Emporio didn't need White Snake specifically, he just needed someone who could push in the disk for him.
tbh i think of every person as a dvd player that only Pucci and Whitesnake can interact with. Anyone can insert a disc into the "dvd player" but only Pucci and his stand will be able to eject it (unless, ofc, someone hits a "dvd player" that Pucci already ejected a disc from)
Anyone can "force" Pucci to eject their disc (as seen with Weather and to a lesser degree Dio).
Edit: Also the C-Moon/Whitesnake time acceleration thing is likely not time acceleration- but a localized and strong gravitational force. Gravity can bend time itself, which is likely what occured here- a really small and strong gravitational pull/push.

Araki forgot that Kira had several broken bones after his first beatdown with Jotaro- "I think one of my ribs punctured my lung," Kira says to Josuke.
Lastly,
