I probably just misunderstood but during the “fight” with Johngalli A in the dream. How did Johngalli A in the real world was able to track Emporio when he’s only in the dream?
Or else this scene is still in the dream. But still kind of confuses me.

Guys this a genuine one it's explained that after Giorno loses his arms he can't heal ever again in the Notorious B.I.G fight but earlier in the part (Sale fight) Giorno was able to turn a lifesaver with his feet to a fish.
Love the idea of Straizo holding his breathe the entire time, then goes to say something to Joseph and just erupting into flames

For the Jotaro as a kid one I think it's because Set doesn't revert their mannerisms just their physical age. A toddler wouldn't be giddy about getting a bath with a woman but Polnareff was because he's an adult, just in child form. Jotaro at 17 was gruff, so as a child but with the same thoughts he would be too. His physical age is the only thing that changes, not his mental state/mannerisms.
I think that's mostly true, Polnareff was forgetting some things if I'm not mistaken but that could just be the anine/dub I'm remembering. Also it's actually possible that Polnareff was always a bit of a horndog even when that young.

I think a more clear explanation is that it does revert the mental state, but at a slower rate and the mental state isn't the part that affects personality. So for Polnareff, he was still a horndog, but as time went on it became harder for his childlike brain to comprehend that personality trait, and it manifested in a more innocent childlike interpretation of the situation. However it can be assumed that he would eventually lose all memories of the present and revert entirely to a child. Meanwhile Jotaro was only recently de-aged and thus was in full cognitive maturity. And thus that is why he was more rough and tough. Had he stayed in that form another 10 minutes or so he may have been less so, assuming his mom was accurate about her depiction of young Jotaro.
also they lost some of their memory, like yeah, Kid polnareff was able to remember that Alessi was an enemy, but couldn't remember things like Jotaro's name
@@GBDupree yeah I thought it was something like that. Alessi's stand is very terrifying if only the user wasn't such a creep he would be SO dangerous.
Perhaps Dio's fog breath was the last bit of life leaving his body, since he had only just turned. Straizo however had already been a vampire for a while so there was none
Because fog is created because of heat leaving your body, so since vampires can't generate body heat they don't create it. Dio's heat didn't automatically leave his body the moment he died, it faded out like most people's body heat does in death

Well.....people can change over time without others knowing it. Like how a pretty blonde girl could suddenly become a goth a couple years later. But yeah him suddenly turning into a delinquent is not true
Some people get really tripped up by the idea of a person’s perspective or narrative not being exactly literal, unless it is explicitly spelled out for them.
Like, they are perfectly understand that sometimes people believe things that aren’t true, but something about seeing a perspective through the lens of storytelling just makes them drop all the guards their brain and take everything at extreme face value.
A lot of these “lies” are just characters being true to their character instead of being completely literal or honest. Like people completely misunderstanding Judgement’s ability by taking his words at face value when he is clearly an enemy who is lying.
And Holly just be like that.

I honestly wished we could focus more on Pocoloco in part 7 and learn what happened to him after the race, but alas he's literally "a hero of another story". Since 2022 is the year of Jojo's spin-offs (and Jojolands), maybe someone could write one about him.

I’ve learned from the OP and JoJo communities that a large portion of their respective fanbases consists of immeasurably stupid individuals. You’ll find people you can talk with just fine, but then you’ll see an unholy amount of people that either type like Walter Jr talks or need many things to be directly explained to them like children for them to comprehend. Often times, both.

To be fair in one of the games Joseph uses the clackers a lot.
He also uses a bottle of cola a lot in HFtF, and I've yet to meet anyone asking why he didn't try to defeat Ultimate Kars with a Diet Coke.

5:55 I think it might be because Jotaro just got turned into a kid so he retained his memories of his 17-year-old self, if he stayed 7 for longer he might have slowly regressed to his past self like Polnareff. Also just look at Alessi, he would definitely lose a fight against a regular child.
Yes it is, Polnareff was super hype to bathe with the egyptian woman as a child, he definitly kept his adult spirit while a child so it would seem logic that Jotaro did too
yup this is actually what happened, as shown with Polnareff retaining his memories when he was turned into a child, it's the same for Jotaro and why he inmediately went to attack Alessi

The cool thing about it is the ambiguity of his past. Since there's evidence to support both arguments of Jotaro growing up as a normal child vs. Jotaro always being a delinquent and Holly just looking at him with rose tinted glasses.
One example in favor of his good nature would be Holly feeling relieved that his good nature is still in him after he asks her if she's feeling well before heading off to see Joseph with the unconscious Kakyoin and how he was so scared of killing anyone that he locked himself up to prevent it. Counter argument would be that he already seemed to have delinquent tendencies even before awakening it (like how he mentioned in the video) and it's sorta corroborated by the students in the nurses office and by the nurse herself like if it was a regular occurence for him to get in fights. Plus his dad really isn't present to prove or deny Holly's claims.
@@vohloo9797 It's likely that he was a good kid but got in fights with bad people / people he didn't like. Also, kids born from an American parent and a Japanese parent are usually frowned upon in Japan from what I've heard, it might be the same reason Josuke acted tough even though he's really selfless and Jotaro even said he has one of the kindest stand abilities. Maybe he saw some of himself in Josuke.
When Jotaro grew up and stopped living in his hometown so much, especially considering Jolyne was born in Florida, he probably stopped having to deal with people treating him like a delinquent so he became more gentle natured and SP weakened as a result.

@@MunchaBuncha There's a reason why so many MC's either punch hard or use fire powers in anime (they're pretty simple powers that don't need much explaining), but some variety is always welcome - Deku was given more quirks pretty much because only using One for All was deemed boring in the long run.

I think a better answer for Jotaro being a delinquent even when aged back by Alessi is the fact that it takes some time to regress someone’s mental state and memories with Sethan. We see with Polnarref that he still has some of his memories and general attitude for a short time. Considering Jotaro was only aged back for a little bit, he should still be a delinquent.

I think it makes more sense if instead of having time reversed on themselves, theyre just being transformed. Cuz kids brains are smaller, which is why they start forgetting stuff, but they still retain some traits they didnt have ten years ago as actual kids.

Okay, I know this is a joke, and someone already mentioned the pre-existing video,
but it would be wild if Gappy found a lion with some kind of Stand ability and it helped him throughout the part.
Pretty much every other Part's name is self-explanatory, but what the everloving _fuck_ does Jojolion mean, even in context?
Phantom Blood? Blood, in both the literal sense and the figurative meaning of family, hangs over the entire Part as its theme, almost like a phantom.
Battle Tendency? Joseph does have that tendency to get into fights, sure.
Stardust Crusaders? Our main group is on a divined quest- some might call it a crusade- that lies in the Joestar bloodline, which from this point on is represented by stars. The "dust" just makes the name sound cooler.
Diamond is Unbreakable- For all the BS that Josuke puts up with in this part, he never breaks under the pressure, just keeps going on. His Stand is literally called Crazy Diamond, too, so I shouldn't need to explain that part.
Golden Wind- Giorno basically is a force for change, and change is very often described using wind metaphors. Gold Experience makes the "Golden" part also pretty self-explanatory.
Stone Ocean- Jolyne explains this one herself; the prison is an "ocean of stones".
Steel Ball Run- The name of the race.
I think Araki himself explained that the 'lion' in JoJolion made the title of the part sound more divine, like Evangelion.
Honestly at this point I would just watch a jojo Q&A video series where people come to you with things that personally confused them (I don't think you'd be running out any time soon), rather than things specifically based on the araki forgot format.
Your understanding of the jojoverse is such that I always learn new things from this series, even when I didn't think I would.

I always thought that when Alessi made Jotaro a kid, Jotaro fought back because he was just turned a second ago, just like Polnareff insulted the big dude and talked about needing to find Jotaro when he was just turned. It always looked like there was a slight delay between the moment the body of the user de-aged and his mind de-aged.

I believe that the Jotaro being a delinquent in his young form is simply that jotaro still had his memories and personality of his older self, much like polnareff did when we had first made young, as polnareff didn't forget things immediately

I think the "legend" refers to the fact that if there was no Red Stone of Aja, the Pillar Men would never have a reason to expose themselves and would continue to live undisturbed, away from any threat.

I don’t know if this was asked before, but I’ve always wondered why Dio never left the coffin early after Erina abandoned it. Was it because he needed time to assimilate his head onto Jonathan’s body, or more because it would be risky due to not knowing whether it was daylight or nightfall?

@@ThatonedudeJ143 I also assume Dio was pretty weakened maybe he would've ended up stuck in the ocean because of it. and we don't know how much energy he needs to graft himself into the body maybe it doesnt need stamina, maybe it does

1. fate is a thing in jojo, i believe DIO was fated to come out of the coffin exactly 100 years later so he would have to face against Jotaro and Joseph
2. DIO is a calculative man, he doesn't act without thinking through his actions, so he probably realized that his best chance at succeding in escaping was to wait until the coffin was discovered and he was sure that he could get away without any risks like for example fighting against water pressure and having to swim randomly in the ocean until he found land

I always figured it was because, doing math, we can figure out that Giorno and his half-brothers were all conceived *before* Part 3 took place. thus, it can be assumed Jonathan's Body was rejecting him even more than it is during part 3, so its likely Dio's reproductive organs were still mostly human in biology
granted, this headcanon was made under the assumption of Jojo vampires being more similar to other vampires in fiction, and the explanation you gave effectively debunks this, I just felt like sharing because it made sense to me for however long ive been watching this franchise
5:31 people seem to not understand that joseph and lisa lisa _wanted_ to kill the pillarmen. They couldn’t let the pillarmen go, or they’d destroy the planet. They needed something to keep their attention, and that was the stone. It wasn’t just a plot device, it had genuine reason to not be destroyed.
Regarding Wamuu having an idea of what a stick of dynamite could do:
1.) explosives are pretty ancient technology.
2.) His pillarmen physiology probably allowed him to smell the combination of chemicals and hear crackling fuse, put two and two together and realize it's an explosive
6:09 I may be forgetting the actual dialogue in that scene, but surely Jotaro would be affected by Alessi in the same way Polnareff was: i.e. that the de-aging is in some ways gradual, like losing the ability to use a stand you didn't have in childhood. Also, Polnareff still knows who Alessi is during that fight, even when he forgets Jotaro and Joseph's names. So, Jotaro would still have at least some of his present attitude that early on in Alessi's effects.
For the whole Jotaro always being tough one, being tough doesn't automatically equal a delinquent. You can still be tough without being a jerk, i think this was nice Jotaro, but also if something tried to kill you and transform you you would punch them wether you were a nice person or not.

I always thought that Star Platinum bringing stuff to Jotaro was if it has been literal ghost and not fully manifested humanoid figure.
Same with Crazy Diamond "hitting it's limit". 2 meters is a limit for it's full force form, if it was further away from Josuke, it would not be able to fight Surface (but, theoretically it could exist as SP did)

The reason vampires don't normally have visible breath when it's cold out is because their bodies don't produce heat like other living creatures. This lack of body heat would prevent their breaths from warming up and therefore would not appear as visible clouds in cold air. DIO, on the other hand, was only shown to have visible breath immediately after he first became a vampire. During this time, DIO would've still had some residual body heat left over from before he put on the mask, and that body heat would've warmed up his breath for a little while longer after the transformation.
This explains why DIO had visible breath in that scene. If there exists other scenes where DIO has visible breath then I have no explanation for that, but I'm pretty sure this is the reason why DIO and Straits have this difference.

Jotaro could have been a good kid when he was young. Alesi's ability makes the opponent's body young, not his mind, as we can see with Polnareff who can appreciate a woman's body (something a kid so young wouldn't do). Jotaro probably was tough as a kid but not a delinquent.

In the Sky High arc, Jolyne uses Emporio's ghost lighter to light herself on fire. What's the deal with that?
I haven't read the arc in years, but the wiki says "A swarm of skyfishes rush toward Jolyne's first vertebrae, but Jolyne decides to set herself on fire, protecting the brain stem from the heat sucking rods. The tables have turned and Rikiel is now cornered."
In case that wasn't a joke, it's because Emporio's lighter is made of Stand energy (just like the pen that Jolyne got from the plane illusion). Since it was clearly explained (by Hamon Beat in the Part 6 video _and_ by the story itself) that Jolyne's clothes and form share the properties of a Stand due to the nature of her Stand, of course it makes sense a Stand-made lighter can affect a Stand-made outfit.

That definitely could work alongside the prophecy if you think about it. The Hamon divination probably would have seen that it was necessary to defeat the pillar men and that it wouldn't be destroyed, but I also wouldn't be surprised if Kars spread that information around as a sort of backup

I was originally going to comment how, in the Highway Star arc, Crazy Diamond couldn't restore gas to the motorcycle but could restore Rohan's nutrients. However, this didn't occur in the manga, so the point is moot.
I think I can do a reverse Araki Forgot, though. Back in the Part 5 video, one of the Araki Forgot's you covered was Gold Experience's berserk side effect. A lot of people claimed that it never showed up again, and you said that the story simply didn't show its side effects on those that it would actually work on. I have a different, simpler answer. The berserk side effect is a result of Gold Experience charging an already living being with life energy, so for this Araki Forgot to work, one must assume that Gold Experience imbues anything it punches with life regardless of intent. This isn't the case. When the berserk side effect is shown off on Bruno, Giorno was in his first ever stand fight, and didn't actually know what would happen if he used Gold Experience's power on another living being. Once he knew what would happen, he then began to use the berserk side effect when it was advantageous for him. He attempted to use it on Black Sabbath to slow its movements, which is when he learned that the berserk side effect does not affect stands. The only other opponents that Giorno could have used the berserk side effect on were Cioccolata and Diavolo, both of whom were already defeated by the time Gold Experience made contact with them, thus making the berserk side effect unnecessary.
Just on the point of the nutrients, I think it’s a pretty interesting case. I’m pretty sure it would be possible even if it’s not canon, as nutrients in a general sense are just macromolecules that are intrinsically part of the human body. If Josuke can heal a human by hypothetically restoring damaged/nonexistent cells, then he can definitely restore biomolecules as well.
@@largemonkey I think that Josuke's stand has two abilities. One is where he can switch the structure of molecules to bend stuff (the furniture, Jotaro's hat, and the Angelo scenes) and the other is the ability to turn back time for an object. I don't believe that he knows how to put them back on a molecular level. He just rewinds the time back when things weren't broken and people weren't hurt. The pasta wasn't broken he uncooked it by rewinding time.

A slight correction to your Alessi correction at around 5:56 -- it does really matter whether Jotaro used to be a rebel or not, since all the stand does is rejuvenate the person and not actually turn back the time or memories for the person affected. Polnareff is still the same person (and has the same clothes on of course)

I wish we got some instances of stands going out of their effective range during fights, exchanging some power for some distance. Like catching the opponent off guard, them thinking they’re outside the range to be attacked, but getting decked anyways. It could make fights a little more interesting despite them being really interesting already.
Dio turning into mist may have also just been a way to visualize him disappearing into the darkness/night. I think it is definitely an homage to classic vampires like Dracula, I just wonder if that's supposed to be a literal disappearance or just a stylistic way to represent him going out of sight by the animators.

I’d like to elaborate on the Jotaro Alessi thing, it took polnareff a fair amount of time to forget everything, and I think up to that point Punching and all that would just be second nature to Jotaro, hence why he was able to still defeat Alessi, and this means that Holly’s memory of Jotaro could be true
Jotaro didn't know that there were multiple arrows in Part 4, it seems that he only figured that there were multiple when they were investigating Kira's house and Josuke saw Kira's father holding one, however in Polnareff's flashback in Part 5 it implies they were aware that multiple arrows exist.

I love how later parts show that a lot of shit happened post-SC and that Jotaro and the rest didn't immediately head home. Stuff like them finding out about the arrow, their origin and DIO's Diary to name a few.

I really enjoy these videos. Not only do you debunk wrong information by fans, its also amazing to see how in-depth araki actually thought about abilities and the story. Especially some stands being more durable than others and only hurting their user when the durability threshold is crossed. I would have forgotten half the rules i made for my stands halfway through.

Alternatively, the thing with Straizo's breath could have just been the result of vampires having a lower body temperature than regular humans. As in Dio's breath was shown because the air was warmer, but Straizo's breath didn't show because it was cold outside.
I feel like the Straizo breath and Gold Experience needing its arms to heal can be explained instead of it being Araki Forgot.
For Straizo, the weather was already cold as said by Joseph. Breathing out warm air in a cold temperature causes it to be foggy. Since Straizo’s breath was already cold, it shouldn’t be appearing as a fog as his breathing would need to be warm which is why Joseph noticed this contradiction. As for Dio’s case, the room they were in was probably room temperature, which allowed Dio to display his cold breath, if the room was cold, then his breath wouldn’t appear like Straizo’s breath.
As for Golden Experience, I think he needs his arms as a requirement to use his abilities instead of his abilities only working through his arms as even after the B.I.G, he can still use other parts of his body to use the ability like during the Green Day fight when he kicks the branch to give it life.
If I’m wrong, let me know as I’m still not sure myself.

13:20 Also people forget that Giorno is not biologically DIOs son. The only reason he is protagonist is because he is in fact a Joestar, as he has star on his back like all members of the family. DIOs vampirism affected the biology of the body, but it still was Jonathan's in the end. That adds obviously to the fact that - this is how vampiric biology probably works in the JoJo universe. None of Dios children have been vampires, which may because vampires are still human on DNA level or its the nature of DIO using a living body as his host, that affected it. Confusion in this situation doesn't make sense, as there was no instances of vampires making babies aside that.
