Civil war bringing back its user and johnny. I know you said jotaro's statement about bringing the dead back is correct, but does that not apply to the steel ball run universe?
What fixed Johnny's legs? Was it prolonged exposure to the corpse parts? If so, does that mean his injury went to someone else? I'm pretty sure I'm missing something, but I'd like an explanation please.
@@CloutmasterPhluphyy This is the main reason. But lack of comunication was a problem too because his wife can't see stands so she didn't know why Jotaro was always leaving.

Yeah like imagine pucci trynna speed up all the time and BIG goes like: whacha doin there pal? Need a hand while running around? Just like yugioh where there was a monster with infinite atk points and yugi was like: You know what? Infinity plus one bitch!
Actually no he didn’t. Irene and Anakiss are completely different characters. They are alternate universe versions. Yes the universe reset but everyone’s lives, personalities and names have all changed. That’s why their names are different. He didn’t forget their names. Having a powerful character not taking part in such an important part of the story without good reason wouldn't be satisfying either. Although there was a reason for Giorno and that is he had no way of knowing what the hell is causing time acceleration. I had a thought about Jotaro getting help from Koichi but then again he didn't have a reason to assume that something like a Universe reset could happen at all. So yeah, Araki is a great storyteller, people want unreasonable things, what else is new?
There's an actual reason why Giorno didn't save the day in the end, but "because it would be boring" is not it. Araki still created the character and gave him those crazy abilities, so it doesn't absolve him.
Atleast jotaro could try to call very powerful stand users in morioh after waking up from coma. Yeah I know jotaro probably didn't want to risk their lives or too cocky to ask for help sometimes but for ffs pucci did beat him in seconds in their first encounter and his daughter is in danger or atleast someone from speedwagon f. should have thought like "there is guy who easily caused jotaro to fall into a coma, WE NEED HELP"

That feels like a moot point. If Dio was capable of merging body parts together for zombies, then logic dictates that it would be possible to do this for humans as well. Not to mention, the Pillar Men were capable of that feat as well. See Wamuu merging the ($)German Soldiers' hands together before deflating them all.

ngl i think it would've been cool to have a one shot where we see how Giorno, josuke and more supporting characters reacted to the universe speeding up.
I actually really liked part 6, one of my favorite characters in JoJo is Weather Report. I like his backstory, his broken stand ability and how he's written as a character.
I liked Part 6 too. I think my favorite Stands were Whitesnake, Diver Down and Jail House Lock. Since Whitesnake had dialogue, I got the impression that he symbolized Pucci's desires while attaining Heaven from the way he spoke. Diver Down's ability to dive down and assume control of whatever it dives into and rearrange it from the inside out. That's pretty interesting. JHL took a while for me to understand until a trip into the Stardust Crusaders subreddit helped me understand that it locks its victims in their memories. Only a villain could have something that twisted.
Honestly the only thing that bothers me about part 6 is a minor one and that grocery store eggs aren’t fertilized and wouldn’t turn into baby chicks regardless of how much time passed, and even if they were fertilized they wouldn’t develop in the conditions they were in.
I know in some cultures you can get fertilized quail and duck eggs as a delicacy. There's videos of people even buying those from the super market and incubating them to hatch. Perhaps it's something similar?

even tho ppl do extremely misunderstand his ability, they dont really say his stand power is impossible. they say thats its EXTREMELY possible, and that EVERY stand can do it xd
I actually understood Pucci's plan after hearing his monologue to Emporio. "Why do people meet?" and "Do you believe in gravity?" are amazing lines that say a lot about Pucci. In his backstory he lost his sister because of a crazy turn of event that he unknowingly caused. The reason why in his "Heaven" people are basically living their usual lives but know their fate is exactly thin that. After this no one can undergo the suffering that Pucci, Perla and Weather weht through. I find it a very interesting detail that sadly was overlooked by many.
It provides context for his character! A lot of people miss this. Pucci can't feel guilty and did nothing wrong if the calamity was always meant to happen. Instead of repenting for his mistake, he doubles down. This leads to the thesis of part 6's writing which explains that even though pucci was trying to control fate, in the end it doesn't matter as "Walking the path of Justice is fate itself." That's the most important philosophical foundation for JoJo and people glaze right over it :(
@@jamesdennison7290 Also, while "fate" is a real, tangible force in the Jojo universe, there's multiple times characters defy it, or at the very least change something before they meet their end. An extra note about "Why didn't FF just heal her?" Josuke could heal be restoring people's bodies to a previous state. This is very fast and perfectly repairs. Giorno could heal by creating perfect surrogates for any section of lost body parts, and speeding up the natural repair process. This can save people from other wise critical injuries but is impractical to use during battle. FF heals by placing pieces of herself (The plankton) into open wounds, sealing them and preventing infection. This is effectively an advanced form of bandage, and is even slower than Giorno's healing method. When someone's head is split open in front of Josuke, he can fix it as if it never happened, and they are instantly in perfect condition. When Giorno is in the same situation, he can replace any lost parts and close the wound, skipping most of the natural healing process but potentially leaving them with a scar that is still more vulnerable than they previously were. When FF is in that situation, she can fill in the wound, preventing them from bleeding out, but they are still injured and need time to heal. Jolyne can "heal" in a similar manner, by "stitching" the wounds closed, but the string she uses is made out of her own body so she is weakened by every active "stitch."
this is a great explanation but sadly the people who you wrote this for dont know how to read, otherwise they would have already understood your point the first time they "read" (skimmed) part 6

Technically, it really isn't an attack. Literally all it is was just Pucci resetting the universe, going off the logic Pucci and his Stand use Giorno and his friends would've been just fine after the unverse reset and then after Pucci died and the universe was brought back to normal again, nobody died as a result as Hamon Beat explained.
"Bro why didn't Giorno stop Made in Heaven while he was in Italy" lmao so now they're saying Giorno can save the day while he has no idea what's going on, good lord.

Yes we expect Giorno to save the day while he has no idea what's going on, that's literally what happened at the end of Part 5. GER itself told us so, Giorno had no idea what it was actually doing while Diavolo activated his stand
Even if he did know what was going on he GER can’t exactly stop it because it the universe reset isn’t targeting Giorno it’s just accelerating what would have already happened. So I think some of the discussion around Araki forgetting doesn't take into account what his schedule was like writing JoJos. So I'm gonna into it: Part 1, Jojo's ran for 42 weeks or 299 days (January 1, 1987- October 26,1987) and he wrote and drew 44 chapter before going immediately into Part 2 which had 69 chapters and ran for 69 weeks (November 2, 1987 - March 20, 1989,) He had almost 4 weeks off between 2 and 3 began In part 3, he did 152 chaptsrs in 159 weeks (March 27, 1989 - April 14, 1992) which means in 3 years he roughly had two weeks off weeks a year and the rest was a strict deadline week in week out drawing and writing Jojo's. He had a week off before starting Part 4, and Part 4 ran for 172 chapters for 186 Weeks (April 21, 1992 - November 13, 1995) or 3.5 years which means he got four weeks off per year which is what Jump gives their big sellers I guess. Careful with all that free time. Araki went directly into Part 5 without a break and it ran 155 chapters in 176 weeks (November 20, 1995 - April 5, 1999) which translates to roughly 5 weeks off a year which is still 47 weeks of strict deadlines he met. He got a very well deserved break from the end of Part 5 to Part 6 starting of 8 months which is really nice hopefully he got some sleep. Part 6 ran for 176 weeks for 158 chapters (December 7, 1999, to April 21, 2003) for 3 years so he got roughly 6 weeks off each year. Part 7 started as a weekly series as well before shifting to monthly, so the break between part 6 and 7 was 9 and a half months (i wanna add as well these "breaks" were the time he spent planning the story, designing characters etc). The last of Araki's time writing weekly manga before switching over to monthly was 38 weeks though Part 6 I can't seem to find whether he took breaks or not. That's a hectic 16 years of nearly consistent work and by the time he was done writing weekly he'd had around 2 years and some change of free time where he wasn't turning in weekly manga on a deadline that's caused other mangaka health issues. The fact Jojo is as consistent as it is despite near constant work during each Part is incredible and I just try to give Araki a break.
Holy shit. I knew mangaka had tight work schedules, but that's absolutely insane. How the fuck did he go thru all that without succumbing to stress or even getting any grey hair and wrinkles? Somehow my already immense respect for Araki has increased significantly.
It’s crazy AMAZING how they can make these stories and they flow well and then draw them ON A WEEKLY BASIS I’m here struggling to even outline 30 chapters in a year 😂
About Anusui, I like your theory better. People often jump to say he is trans, but I think he just being in a female form to stalk Jolyne more easily, fits him perfectly and is completely in character.
I think the obsession over trans Anusui is just overeactive western fans who view everything in a sexual light while the real awnser is just that Araki deciding to change his mind later. I still see the regurgitated arguments about Araki's editors forcing him to change it to prevent Anusui from being trans and that Jolyne was meant to be a lesbian despite the fact that its been debunked so many times and Araki is very open about his works and the decisions he made during them. Dragon’s Dream, Sky High, and (least egregiously but still bad in my opinion) Jail House Lock all slow the pace of the part down with powers that require multiple pages or fights that are largely uninteresting. Because of them, you’re always dreading the next encounter in the fear that you’ll have to learn about a new cryptid or martial arts style. It’s hard to get invested when you’re trying to cement a concept and then just like that the stand is done with. That’s my main gripe, anyway.
Imma just say it, part 7 is one of my least favorite parts. Except for D4C Love train, Spring Mountain, Mandom, and pretty much all of Johnny and Gyro's talks it was kinda boring or just not good.
@@lukayaroslav9914 it's like one of the least popular on the west (Here on brazil it seems like ppl fucking hate it, wich is unsurprising with such a retarded population) Huh seems times have changed for the best
Lucca Britto Part 5 is one of my least favorite parts. The protagonist is kinda meh for me, and not that many memorable fights in my opinion. It does have Narancia and Diavolo, which are two of my favorite JoJo’s characters.
Part 6’s ending is one of the best in manga history. If you want an explanation, (I know this is stupid) but type in “JoJo’s part 6 ending with Wonderful World” and you’ll find a comment under the video that explains the flipping beauty of it’s ending. It’s so good
Mistake 119 that’s what makes it good. It would have been retarded of Made in Heaven lost in an open ocean. Weather Report is probably one of the only stands that could stop it and only because it was in an enclosed area and being off guard
Made in Heaven's ability is interesting, because it's actually still an advancement upon his Disk Theme. In order to create his new universe, he speeds up time and reaches the singularity point and loops time around back to when he kicked it off, which would lock fate in place and force everyone to accept their fated path, to achieve heaven. This is very similar to burning a CD of a movie and then playing it, all the actions are recorded and play out exactly how they did on the first go around. DIO and Pucci's idea of Heaven was a Movie where the audience held the script, a movie he's already seen. A CD in a cosmic video player, which played the same movie forever and ever til the end of time. With the only downside being that he didn't finish burning it, so it never got inserted in the first place and we only got a preview of what it would look like.
From this perspective one could backpedal and see that Whitesnake always perceived one's life and attributes as a movie or part of a movie of some sort, and each disk was like an outtake of certain scenes and plot points, such as how the ability to see could affect one's eventual plot. It could dissolve people in a hallucinogenic acid, which played events similar to a movie to distract them all the while. Perhaps Pucci's entire theme has always been movies and their composition, with his Made In Heaven stand being sorta like the ultimate culmination of movie-fanaticism, wherein he materialized a movie out of fate itself.

Thank you for clarifying these misconceptions! I really enjoyed that you went through the ending, as I got a bit confused when I first read part 6. I initially thought that with Pucci resetting the timeline, he had killed off the main cast, and when Emporio killed him the timeline reverted to something akin to an alternate universe. But when you said that upon Pucci's defeat, the main cast was still alive and turned into better versions of themselves, it made so much more sense, and I felt I got a way clearer message for what Araki was actually going for with Part 6's ending. Keep on making them great videos ✊
It has the unfortunate fate of existing between Parts 4 and 7, which are widely praised by western audiences. Part 5 was super polarizing until it got an anime adaptation, hopefully part 6 receives a similar re-branding if it ever gets picked up by DP
A big thing about Part 6's ending is Jolyne's name changing to Irene. She's no longer a JoJo, showing that the Joestar curse is longer following her and she will no longer experience a "Bizarre Adventure." A lot of people think that Jolyne, Jotaro and the others don't exist in the fixed Emporior universe but they do. They're literally the same people, just unaffected by Pucci and the events of Part 6.
Jotaro erased any possibility for antagonists by naming “Jolyne” “Irene” in the “What a Wonderful World” universe since there were no JoJos to fight them

This leads to the thesis of part 6's writing which explains that even though pucci was trying to control fate, in the end it doesn't matter as "Walking the path of Justice is fate itself." People hate reading, lmao. And to be fair the manga is a bit wordier than the anime, so i kinda get it. But really ppl just skim the fuck out of the part manga
A lot of people just speed-read Stone Ocean so they can skip to Steel Ball Run as soon as possible, because other Jojo fans tell them to do so. Much like "Citizen Kane is the best movie of all time," people believe "Stone Ocean is the worst Jojo part" because they've been told so and lack either the motivation or critical thinking to decide for themselves.
None of this even gets into the superiority complex some Jojo fans have, thinking that because they read Jojo that somehow proves how smart and exceptional they are. Yet they can barely follow the basic narrative half the time, much less keep track of Stand abilities, character motivations, or basic linear time.

The original part 5 manga translations were dogshit and still taint the reputation of the part to this day. With part 6 there's literally no excuse. They clearly just shut off their peabrains and skimmed through the part. Stone Ocean's anime adaptation better pull a Vento Aureo and redeem the fanbase's stupid opinion.

I have to say i liked part 7 more but saying part 6 sucked is just mind boggling. It was so fun reading it.
An extra note about "Why didn't FF just heal her?"
Josuke could heal be restoring people's bodies to a previous state.

So I think some of the discussion around Araki forgetting doesn't take into account what his schedule was like writing JoJos. So I'm gonna into it: Part 1, Jojo's ran for 42 weeks or 299 days (January 1, 1987- October 26,1987) and he wrote and drew 44 chapter before going immediately into Part 2 which had 69 chapters and ran for 69 weeks (November 2, 1987 - March 20, 1989,) He had almost 4 weeks off between 2 and 3 began
In part 3, he did 152 chaptsrs in 159 weeks (March 27, 1989 - April 14, 1992) which means in 3 years he roughly had two weeks off weeks a year and the rest was a strict deadline week in week out drawing and writing Jojo's.

I do agree with you tho, people trying to claim characters are gay/trans/etc as if it's literal canon is annoying. 100% okay to have a headcanon or ship for a character you like, but to try and say it was the author's intent is disrespectful.

It's called a "reading comprehension test"
oh yeah, i failed the test, and learned from it.
My man Araki really decided to namedrop Rohan, getting my hopes up for no reason, and made it a haha funny. I love it lol
Everyone skimmed part 6 to get to part 7 and then said part 6 was bad. Someone reads that 'part 6 is bad' and then skims through part 6 to get to part 7, then they say part 6 is bad. That's bizzare.
So in a way, part 6 suck because of part 7
Shiretoko In my opinion, the story Part 6 was trying to tell was better than most of the others, but it was bogged down by ridiculously and unnecessarily complicated stands.

Killer Queen already touched their brains.
Literally just finished Part 6 an hour ago and thought it was great. I'm not sure what the hell these haters are on.
They only wanted to get to part 7 fast
I'm a heathen because I caught up on part 8 before I even started reading 6 or 7
It's really that part 6 is so depressing that's why I hate it like even steel ball run isn't this depressing.
Mistake 119 that’s what makes it good. It would have been retarded of Made in Heaven lost in an open ocean. Weather Report is probably one of the only stands that could stop it and only because it was in an enclosed area and being off guard
ye, part 6 was incredible, prolly one of the best parts so far
@@CvBurgundy Holy crap you get big brain and araki hot bigger brain because i don't even notices that even though i'm in part 8

Jolyne did spoil The Sixth Sense to the people reading the manga. The volume which featured the spoiler was released shortly after the movie came out.
Jolyne spoiled the sixth sense to the entirety of Japan.

This videos is very necessary, part 6 is my favorite part and people seem to read it with their asses, thank you so much
Damn, so true
It definitely has my favorite ending of all parts.
It has the unfortunate fate of existing between Parts 4 and 7, which are widely praised by western audiences. Part 5 was super polarizing until it got an anime adaptation, hopefully part 6 receives a similar re-branding if it ever gets picked up by DP
Part 6 is amazing and it's sad how people fail to realise that
best stands desings , best girl, best boy Anasui, best climax, Diver Down, Disney, Part 6 is a masterpiece
A big thing about Part 6's ending is Jolyne's name changing to Irene. She's no longer a JoJo, showing that the Joestar curse is longer following her and she will no longer experience a "Bizarre Adventure."
A lot of people think that Jolyne, Jotaro and the others don't exist in the fixed Emporior universe but they do. They're literally the same people, just unaffected by Pucci and the events of Part 6.
Thats not how that works at all. Its the joestar blood not some naming convention
@@mediocreswiss7609 Dude that's just some symbolism
