EPIC Video Daniel! 🌈
same feeling as Capucci below. Daniel makes everything so understandable and fun to learn !!!
Much appreciated!
The only understandable Color Grading video for DV that I saw around. Really, thank you so much Daniel. 🤘😃
More to come! ☮️❤️
As always writing a comment to support the channel
As always, much appreciated!
Perfect timing, Daniel. Use the scopes all the time, I now have a new understanding of them. Great video
Perfect! I hope that simplified them a bit and help you choose a scope that makes sense for your workflow
Hey man, i just wanted to say thank you, i use to watch your guides on filmora because i was using it too before i swapped for davinci. And then i saw that you started making guides for davinci too. And it just helps so much to be honest.
Just to say thank you for all the help you been providing me and most likely many many others. Love your personality and your content !
You’re very welcome! Glad these have been helpful.
That’s the goal ☮️
Wow It tranforme the picture quality is so amazing 👏 👍 👌
I want learn as much as I can from Davinci Resolve before I comet to the software and you are the right teacher Daniel.
Kind regards buddy 😊
Hey thanks! I appreciate the kind words
Best color grading video I’ve seen for davinci!! Thank you!!
Wow, thanks! Glad this was helpful! ☮️
Now we need a tutorial on curves
Coming soon!
Great video explaning this Daniel
Thanks!
Awesome tutorial, easy to understand. Well done.
Thanks, Dom!
Really interesting, and loved the change from a dusk/dawn sea to "storm on the horizon!". And now I can see that the wheels have the capacity for YRGB control! Thanks Daniel.
Hope that helped speed up your workflow 👊😎☮️
@@Daniel_Batal It's certainly going to help
Stellar, as always!
☮️❤️
Awesome tutorial on the color grading.
Thanks, Scully!
I love your long form how-to vids Daniel. You're a damn good teacher. btw the "commission of illumination" sounds like a great band name. 🤣
Haha!! Right?!
Or the British division of the Illuminati.
Thank yiu, Daniel
👊😎☮️
Thank you Daniel you explain it so well, all the best,
Thanks, you too!
Nice way to learn
Thanks!
Hello great video information Daniel
Hey, thanks!
A W E S O M E !
thank u. 🤟🏼
You bet!
My gripe with resolve is when it is time to export. There are no good, efficient options for an internet ready, efficient and compressed high quality 265 or 264 file. You have to export something HUGE and then transcode with handbrake. If only they would add a "frame server" option like i used back in the day of TMPeg and VirtualDub (still use VDub) that could serve the file to handbrake.
An odd gripe but I guess find another software that does, if that’s important to you.
Great and not difficult information. Thanx, but I am interested in common ways of basic colour correction, what can be like a rules for every colourist from common mistakes since filming. Much information on RUclips like: how to grade an ideal source (footage), but there is no information how to grade and correct not very good footage’s. Great job man, u the best )
Make sure you watch the first color page video in this series (ruclips.net/video/SkosqJfzEs0/видео.htmlsi=VLGVYcnbJlgyDQH0) which will answer a lot of those questions.

Welcome aboard!
This to advanced for me. I have been using Davinci for about a week and your videos. What interests me the moveable scopes window. Is it possible to move the image window and make it larger.
The preview window? Absolutely.
Same rules apply. It also has an expand option
Hi Daniel! Is there a way to select all subtitles on right or just a portion of the timeline? (without selecting clips / subtitles only)
Hmmm… good question.
Let me look
I had to go play with him a little bit to make sure I remembered how they interacted.
I’m using Resolve studio 19 BETA.
I seem to have no problem being able to cut, move or modify the captions inside of their own track without affecting the associated video track, and then controlling formatting issues in the upper right inspector under the track tab options.
What is it exactly you’re trying to do? Could you clearly define a use case?
Wow! So well explained! So easy to understand after watching your vids dude! Now I just want to colorgrade everything.... 😅 Daniel, you are an excellent pedagogue! Have a nice one! 😃
By the way, I would like to start a new YT channel, but I can't find a video on how to do it right the first time... I mean, There is a lot of videos telling people where to clic, but nobody have a video on detailled "why" and "what is the (long term) impacts" if you choose "that instead of this". (Like you do in this video) (I hope my question is clear... english isn't my native language... 😊) Do you have made such a video? (If yes, I didn't found it...😮)
Peace!
Hey thanks! I appreciate that.
I don’t have a specific video on new RUclips channels but definitely check out my pal Doug Hewson’s channel!
He covers everything you need to know about starting a RUclips channel-> ruclips.net/user/liveV_hm-kCWWwY?si=mSfU73hYAAT5UJpt
Dan, you're awesome! Thanks for your help! I appreciate it very much!
Daniel, is this in both DaVinci Resolve 18 and 19? Also, can I pop out the scopes to another monitor?
I’m using v.19 BETA but this is all available in the previous version.
YES, you can drag scope pop-up windows to a second monitor
Daniel .Microsoft will launch their new copilot laptop with builded in Davinci and that will be under SnapDragon X elite it on apple m3 pro level .My question is their monitors OLED with 600 nits HDR are enough for editing /exporting HDR videos content recorded on phones camera and mobile camera even from DJI ?
Because it’s new technology, there’s a lot we’ll have to wait and see but as for your monitor, that should get you started pretty well for editing
@@Daniel_Batal yes its not on sale yet
But i am maybe not excited but surprized.
Snapdragon elite = apple m3 level
But
But
Want to check HDR quality IF i am able to edit export to bt2020 PQ 2048 which i love to watch but cant edit 😉.
I am not HDR freak but my camera support 😊
What monitor model you are using ?
I use a pair of 32” BenQ 4K monitors.
👍
Just thought of a question. Don't have anything to do with this video. My question is has RUclips become a pay for play? Platform just wanted to know your thoughts since you are an expert at this RUclips thing.
Not exactly sure what you mean.
The recommendations system has nothing to do with paid placement. What works on RUclips is building content that effectively serves the specific needs of your target audience.
If people connect with your content, it will be more frequently recommended to similar viewers.
@@Daniel_Batal so I am an expert in computer, and many computer programs. So if I did tutorials on that where it helps people, would this be a step in the right direction? What I mean pay to play is, you promote and pay them, then will recommend your videos more and you will get monetization, and you can monetize your channel in other ways be it patron, or other ways. It just means you will get recommend more by paying.
See what my problem is, I do mostly cover songs on my music man mute Channel then when I do different various projects like creating poetry, and creating original music I don't get very much traction with that. So, should I just leave up all my other content and then be able to go back to it when I want? Or should I create an entire new Channel with a niche so that I can do tutorials for different types of programs, and working on computers?
Brother, whenever I'm trying to do my UPI transaction for Filmora 13, it shows me a Maximum Mandate Price of double the package price. Why is this happening? Will it cost the double the price? Please guide. Thanks in advance.🙏
Unfortunately I stopped using their software a few years ago so I have no idea what they are up to now
@@Daniel_Batal thank you
Hey Daniel , very good video . I can do better editing in your videos which can help you to get more engagement in your videos . Pls lmk what do you think ?
Did you just insult my editing…?
