Welcome to the Salvage Rebuilds UK channel. In this video We buy a cheap BMW Mini Cooper for a quick flip and hopefully a nice profit.
Working at our fully equipped workshop in Kent we carry out tasks including Panel beating, Body work, Mig Welding, Sheet metal Spot Welding, Fabrication, Chassis Repairs, Sand Blasting, Engine and Mechanical repairs, DPF cleaning, Restoration and Structural repairs on the Celette Jig frame machine.

I used car vertical from your link few weeks ago.. Is it be or does it not check outstanding finance?
@@devonmantimtim8263 on the Car Vertical website there is a sample report and it does list 'outstanding finance' as one of the checks.
My daughter well before she could even drive wanted a mini, going about as a kid she was mini daft, mini badges, mini toy cars and mini models, mini scalextric mini birthday cards mini Christmas cards, mini posters mini school bag the lot.
Passed her test at 17 and got a Fiesta

Love this quick flip videos . They give people an idea what to look for if buying when you examine a car great stuff.

I was fortunate enough to drive an early new shape MINI Cooper from new followed by a Cooper S. Great cars. The Park Lane edition arrived towards the end of the first generation as I recall. A great looking car even today. For anyone interested in design look up Frank Stephenson and you can see a video on how he designed the new MINI. Thank you.

Great choice - love R50s and Park Lane's in particular. Good time to buy, they've never been cheaper. Great that there's no oil leaks and that year will have the uprated steering pump too. Shame no tach pack or sunroof. Check front wishbone play, central locking and all electrics. Well done, hope it makes you more than a few quid.
Fixing that clock really fouled me up, as I always tuned in at the same time.

The Mini design still looks quite fresh as the Mk2 & 3 models looked so similar. Nice little car for someone for not a lot of money, being the Park Lane model there won't be many about like that which is a bonus! Enjoy these little 'one off' videos all adds to the variety of your channel cheers guys!
Living in France, I sometimes forget how cheap cars are back in the UK. That Mini was fabulous value. Here there are six for sale. Cheapest €3300 average around €5500, dearest €8900 all with much high mileage!
One of our cars we brought over. A 2.2 Astra G Convertible now with 73k on the clock. A 2003 model we are the second owners, buying it in 2004. A great, fully loaded car. On Autotrader, apart from a turbo priced at a ridiculous £6900, they are anything from £990-£2000. Here in France I have seen one at €3000, higher mileage, smaller engine and lower spec. Then they are anything from €4500-6000!
I've got to move back to the UK!

Another good example of canny trading and fixing can achieve. Buying at the right price, good contacts, and another job is done. The in-depth rebuilds are interesting, but variety makes interesting content. There is always something different to cover all tastes. The best bit for the pair of you, is that it will be a nice earner, plus being a good car for the purchaser, wins all round.

Chris is working around the clock on a round clock. This car makes you drive fast. And yes... another great video!
I’d of advertised it at £1750 all day long. Thats how much the cheapest one in same spec on auto trader is. It’s a “park lane” model so quite sought after spec. Better leather seats than the standard ones. Has automatic heating / climate control. Mini’s are notorious for oil leaks. I couldn’t believe how clean it was underneath. Good little car for someone.

Battery was flat so we chucked the jump pack on it, Chris repainted the clock fingers, small graze on the trim which we te-cutted out. And it made a lovely lil' timepiece.
I noticed that,although a late model,it has the earlier 2 spoke steering wheel !! Mini using up old stock,perhaps !!

Mini wipers always screech, and the Aircon leak's, and the plastic thermostat housing crack's, and the handbrake bezel falls off, and if it been raining when the boot is opened it drips/runs into the boot.
Bet Chris was over the moon bringing him a welding job 😂

Heard so many mini horror stories ,head gaskets timing chains,thermostat housings even some with bad gearboxes ….that although they look really nice i been put off owning one
