@@RoadsideRC Steering could be better. 16208 for sending, 14301/302 for road bashing, 14209 for a bit of everything, need still some time for the 14210….
Fun Little Guy. I added the Eazy RC Colorado Front Bumper with lights, as well as the Coloradorear bumper, wheelie bar (2 wheels), and rubber Trazzas Rubber wheelie bar slip ons. Angry Snail makes a kit with an included replacement top battery clamp, allowing you to use full size batteries.
Great video.. Got me very excited. Haha.. Mine just came in today from Banggood. Still have to test it. My first Rc car coming from Drones. I see my version of the 16207 came with plastic protective caps above each shock. Some have them, others don't.
This RC is absolutely brilliant, I am itching to upgrade this to Hyper Go Go much faster! This one and the WLtoys 124008 makes me want to wear steel tipped shoes, sandals or flip flops are a bad choice when running these two RC's. All the 1/16 scale MJX Hyper Go's and the 1/14 scale MJX's have a separate receiver and ESC, this is one of the things that make them better value for money than the other budget trucks.
In the manual, it says that the wheelie bar is only used on asphalt and concrete and that it should be removed on the dirt ground, especially during jumps, because it interferes with proper jumps and is easily destroyed.
I like this truck. I wish the battery was able to attach to my aftermarket charger but Unlike most batterys with cords that i charge that way these square batterys seem to require an adapter for my other supperior chargers. You wouldnt know of any adapter cord I might be able to buy online with a link/URL by any chance? Great video. TY
You can put any connector you want on batteries and ESC's. If you don't have a solder gun (or are not confident enough to donit yourself) any hobby shop could swap all your vehicles to one universal connector.
@overdosed51 - please check again the type of batteries this truck uses. It is a solid case, internal plug design. Just soldering on a new plug is not as simple as it would normally be.
I agree 100%! One place MJX could improve on is the battery design. It is very simple and easy for a novice - but frustrating for those of us with a hobby-grade charger. It is not as simple as the other viewer mentioned- it isn't about just soldering an end on. To get the balance cable to plug in, we would need something like this: bit.ly/3TqF47x
got mine for Christmas! So far so fun! What charger do you use? Im thinking of getting some 2s batteries for this car and i dont want to wait a whole day to have all the batteries charged
I highly suggest this charger: amzn.to/48uIavE It has the power to charge all the way up to 6S, does 2 batteries at the same time, and has all of the features you would ever want.
I've had a couple different Hyper Go trucks, and none of them last very long in my experience. Gears get absolutely destroyed constantly, and screw holes get stripped under finger-tight tightening. The only one that's survived is my brushed one that I put full metal drivetrain into, but the second it even goes 2S brushless, it just shreds before I can finish a pack.. not loving the brushless ones
@@RoadsideRC yeah a lot of people have had great luck.. I thought I just got a lemon rig so I got a few more but they all have issues.. idk if it's my terrain or what but I don't bash very hard and I lean in on the throttle so I don't believe it's user error
They're fun for sure, but don't last long, at least in my experience. (Gears can barely stand 2S brushless and screw holes strip under light tightening) I've had 4 of em and they all practically explode with brushless even on 2S. Other people have had very different experiences though.
@@K5_RC the cheap brands look ok in my opinion, relatively affordable and probably suit many people just fine but I’m a firm believer in you pay for what you get. I’d be worried that something is constantly breaking so I went with Traxxas because it’s a well known brand and I have a local hobby store that is a full service dealer.
@@19_96tyler yeah, 100%. I roll mainly ARRMA because of their reliability and ability to handle being overpowered, along with the fact my shop carries almost just as much ARRMA parts as Traxxas parts. But yeah cheap stuff is cheap for a reason. The Hyper Go is super fast and tough for bashing, but throttle time destroys them and they aren't the nicest to work on. Plus 2-4 week shipping time for parts, not a fan. Plus side is the parts are mega cheap (Front and rear diff are only $14) but it adds up really fast because they constantly have issues. You definitely get what you pay for in the RC hobby
@@RoadsideRC I have one they are really good its lower shocks in the front so its harder for a wheelie . just ordered the alloy parts for it see how it comes out .
Thanks for sharing Troy! This has got to be one of the hottest selling Rc’s on the market 2nd yr running! Great review my friend!👍🏻💪🏼👊🏼😎
Thanks 👍
Great going troy, the smile on your face riggt at the beginning was a plus sign about it,great review!!!!
Thanks Thomas! You make a great point. If we aren't smiling, what are we doing??? This is supposed to be about fun!
Thank you for making this video!
Glad it was helpful!
Cool review. They hyper go‘s are a blast 🎉 have already 5 of them 🤪
5 of them!!
I am curious - what weak spots have you found? Which is your favorite?

100% on the safety shoes! Getting hit with this little missile with a metal bumper would HURT!
This is another great review. This thing is impressive.
Thank you!
Wow, pretty wild for such a small vehicle!
Yes it is!
Iv had one of these for about 6 months and it was worth every penny it's really tough, iv even put touring car tyres on it and raced
Thanks for the feedback!
This is my first Hyper Go I will be swopping out the OE receiver for the Dumbo X6FG receiver.
Fun! I am curious why you are swapping the receiver.
In the manual, it says that the wheelie bar is only used on asphalt and concrete and that it should be removed on the dirt ground, especially during jumps, because it interferes with proper jumps and is easily destroyed.
Yes it does! I decided to run it anyway.
I wonder if the hyper go rigs are the same on Amazon and other sites but different names or numbers depending on where its sold.
That is a GREAT question. I really don't know.
Looks awesome! Can't wait to try out the MT varient that I have on the way 😀
Did you get the H14BM, or a different one?
@@RoadsideRC I got the DeeRC version. It looks like a HPI Savage, 2s instead of 3s. Everything on the inside looks the same

@@icewolfandecho5256 VERY fast compared to the charger that it came with.
Does it fit for this type of battery?..2200mah 3s 105x34x18mm

Look up the Angry Snail Battery for this car.

Interesting! I have had great luck with them, and in general, folks hold these up to be some of the "best of the budget" vehicles.

TEMU was fine. Kind of like an AliExpress or similar.
Ordering was easy, shipping took awhile, but everything showed up as expected / advertised.
I’ve see this on Amazon a lot and been curious on how it is.

what is its play time in one charge
Really depends on how and where it is driven. Expect between 5-15min.
Have you seen the mjx h16pl ?

Ha! Not where I would start, no. :) Good for later though!
