For those of you who reached out to check on us, we and our families are ok. Thank you for expressing your sensitivity, compassion and humanity!🙏🏽 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Glad you and your family are okay. One of the worst mass shooting In the u.s history. My heart is heavy for those who suffered and had to witness one of the most evil act that happen in our county. My prayers and love are sent out to those who lost a love one or lost a life. As people, we need to come together in a time of need and unite.
When she says baby - Jason Aldean. The song he was performing when the shooting took place. Great song and would be a great tribute to the victims! Prayers to all!!
Lost In Vegas Sending prayers and condolences to all the Las Vegas victims and their families. A sad and senseless tragedy. Not sure what else i can say. Lately this entire world has been at a lose. Peace and love y'all
I was maybe 12 when this song was popular. Listening to this now as an adult, man I can hear that pain in that man’s voice. That song is crazy powerful.
That tune is melodic - it's got that smooth beat - it's got everything that you mentioned George. You guys are opening so many minds. That being the case, I would like to recommend something by the Doors.
Growing up in a trailer park with my dad in the 90's/early 2000's... five kids... 22 and doing his best... I can't help think of my dad with this... I love that guy.
Same here. : I remembered as an child , growing up , whenever we went to go see my cousins , this is one of the songs that we heard on radio ( Drift and Die was an another one that we also heard repeatedly ) and to this day.... whenever I listened to this song , I can't help but think about my dad and the fond memories that we once shared together . RIP pops
blake combs Yeah, dude... I feel like, “YEAH! Groove metal is the GOAT! Deathcore!” But then, this song kicks in, I’m like, “Welcome back to the harsh reality that at the same time is amazing as well” It’s like a welcome back home to me... No matter how harsh your home is, it’ll always be your home...
Its the same stuff you seen in politics today. Its not about music, its about ideologies. You should love what ever you love, point blank. Enjoy whatever you enjoy
I am a die hard metal fan actually death metal mostly. But, I also like bands like this or the cross over bands too. I never cared about friends judging me on "softer" music. If it's good it's good.
Damn right! I grew up a metalheads, but as I have gotten older, I care not for what type of music I listen to. If it sounds good to my own ears, that is all that matters. To say otherwise is fake, and is just not being true to oneself.
I have been binge watching your reactions and I absolutely love that you have an appreciation for every piece of the music. To me it shows incredible intelligence and....let's face it, music is the universal language. It is also incredibly sexy to see a man that can jam some blues, hip-hop, classical and then surprise you with Gojira! I also love the jam faces! 😂 I would kinda dig your reactions on classical music! What faces then? Love you guys!
ledgm108 I agree but Would to me is one of the greatest songs ever written. I’d take either and would also throw rotten apple or no excuses out as a suggestion but you could go off radio too and do junkhead or rain when I die. Got me wrong would be cool too. Fuck it, you just have to love the band and the catalogue
ledgm108 - This is an awesome choice - one of my favorites of all time but I have to say...it’s a mood song. I’ve always felt that it was meant for me at a special time. The time of my choosing. Late late after all the other stuff is over...alone.
I love this song. i brings tears to my eyes because the whole song is about divorce and custody battle over a child. the pain and sadness that comes with it. MIssing your child. It is very hard to experience the pain that comes with custody fighting. its brutal. the ones who are hurting the most are the children. i for one faced this exact feelings. the pain is the worst in the world. the seperation and the hurt of feeling that you cannot see your children any time you want to .
I'm going through that right now and it is heart wrenching. I love my boys. This hits you in the feels. But at the same time I wanna jam 5 nails through the neck from cannibal corpse
I'm with you there. Lost my three kids and don't get to see them but a couple times a year if I'm lucky. This last stretch was 4 years without seeing them. Have to try and keep my eyes from tearing up everytime I hear this song.
The Artist J Alright, don’t get me wrong I love this song, I really do. but.... I don’t think this is their style it’s not really rock-ish it’s more alternative (nothing wrong with that alternative is one of my favorite genres). Then again puddle of mud is alternative too so you never know. Just statin my honest opinion.
Back when I was struggling with the baby mama, thus song was REALLY hard to listen to. The wonderful thing about music is it can bring you back to a vivid place, for better or worse. Hard to hear again. Love your channel guys!!
My thoughts and prayers go out to everybody who is affected by this senseless tradegy here in Vegas. Shout out to Lost In Vegas for keeping it real. Hope you guys weren't directly affected.
With you guys, I always click the like button the very first time you make me laugh out loud and I have yet to watch one of your videos that I have not clicked like on. Props to you guys for the way you approach every genre of music with an open mind as just lovers of music. All genres of music can have great songs if people would give it a chance. Anyone who doesn't misses out on some great tunes. Love you guys, keep it up!!
This one of those songs that its hard to dislike and not love. The content is so heartfelt and the musicality is so infectious. A true gem!!! Its repetitive its the best kind of way!! Melody kills. This another song that sits in the living room of your memory and just parks there and becomes a sofa. Dang I like this song!!
I am a metal head. I do love this song bc I grew up with bands like puddle od mud and trapt. This is a very empowering song and the melody is great, like you said, if the melody is good, most ppl will at least appreciate it
Control - Puddle Of Mudd. I first heard them, along with a lot of other bands because of wrestling. Control was the theme song for Survivor Series 2001. Music & wrestling have been two of my biggest passions for most of my life
Imperfectly Great this needs to be the next video by far and away. They probably know about it but still. I'd love to hear thier thoughts. Please watch a video of it!!
After doing Rusty Cage (Soundgarden) and being asked "Why the hell would you do a Rock song?" He replied "Good music is good music, no matter who wrote it" (may not be he exact words, but that's the gist of it.)
Seeing you guys growth is amazing honestly rooting for the both of you, would love you to show the UK some more love and react to wretch 32 and avelino fire in the booth 👏🏼
Your appreciation of music overall and the power that you guys know it has is really awesome to see every time you post a video like this. Thank you for always taking the time to jump into different genres and for opening minds. 🤙
How about some Soundgarden/audioslave/temple of the dog. Superunknown-Soundgarden Fell on black days - SoundgardenSay hello 2 heaven- temple of the dogLike a stone-audioslave
I love this song, stumbled upon it and can’t stop playing it. Can’t believe it’s been out for years! It grabs you from the start, the music, lyrics are beautiful!!!
Someone recommended it last video, but you guys should seriously do 'Bring The Noise' by Anthrax + Public Enemy -- one of the most iconic collaborations between a rap and metal group in history.
Love your metal reaction videos; it gives me a fresh perspective and new enthusiasm for a genre I've always loved. You need to stop playin around with these pop Metallica tunes though and go old school! You guys loved "Holy Wars" by Megadeth, and you need to cover the song that started the thrash trend for epic songs, "MASTER OF PUPPETS" BY Metallica!
Yes! I've been requesting this for a while. Master of Puppets is the considered the best thrash metal song ever. Enter Sandman and Sad But True are good but they do not represent the true Metallica. Glad you guys are okay :)
This song is still a jam. Very well put together and well composed. Not a big fan of the band personally, but y'all said metal fans contribute. Music is good as long as there's talent in making it. This song just flows and comes together perfectly. Again I will say I'm not a fan of the band, but how can you argue with the outcome?
About the song from Songfacts: Lead singer Wes Scantlin wrote this about his desire to be a good dad and hang with his kid. This angered Scantlin's son's mother when she first heard it. She and Wes are separated. Scantlin claims that this song helped bring some issues into the open and improved their relationship.
I met wesley 2012 he was cool he got his band to sign autographs for me and gave my girlfriends son a guitar pick and a signed drum stick it was pretty awesome
This brings me back to my barely graduated out of high school days. Going to college. Hanging out with friends. Nice summer nights in Texas. Met my 1st loveand this sings reminds me a lot of him. Always will have a special place in my heart for him.
This IS grunge, at least to me. It is very simplistic form of instrumentalization. Grunge was an (necessary, even??) answer to the 80s stadium rock, and to bands like Iron Maiden and Helloween, which has got more dynamic and very epic sound to them. Anyhow... You guys are authentic as h'''' - and that's why I can "feel you" ;) Standard recommendation: Epic, elite produced, sound: Wintersun "Sons of Winter and Stars", and Insomnium "While She Sleeps" - both really popular (metal) reaction songs, just saying... ;)
You guys are amazing!!! I've always loved music, but never really broke a song down the way y'all do. It puts a deeper understanding to each song and appreciate how and why these songs are made. Keep up the good work!
Love this song! Classic! The song is about his son (and his son was in the video) but I think the chorus is to his sons mother? "Can you take it all away, this pain you gave to me..." You'll love Hoobastank the reason - if you haven't already done it x
A lot of good suggestions in your comments. A band that has a lot of the things that you guys point out your videos that you like is Helmet, their music is really riff centered, a loud ass snare drum and easy to understand lyrics. “Unsung” is a great song from them that I hope you guys will one day get to if you continue on with these reactions. They’re one of my favorite bands so it’s always cool to see peoples reaction to them given how they’re not an extremely popular band (they were supposed to be the next big thing like Nirvana was). Keep up the good content and always expand your mind
Sworned They did a bitchen job of doing Symptom of the universe on the Jerky Boys soundtrack but I think credit went to the melvins. Either way, Helmet would be cool but they should have a vote for that as they have a great catalogue
Dude, nothing but respect & love for you & how eclectic you are in musical taste! I've always listened to a ton of stuff from metal/hard rock, prog rock, blues, jazz, jazz fusion, indie, alt etcl. Too much great stuff out there to lock your ass down into one thing. Cheers brothers!
This song hits home to me, as I came from a broken home and now grown up I'm the father that's not close to his kids, I think about them constantly but I'm also on the outside looking in, All the little things that happen in there lives that I'm not there for at the moment it happens unlike there mum, It is what it is, but hurts like hell. Regarding the song I believe the verses are him talking too and about his son, But in the Chorus it's him angry at his ex wife/partner, It's a very powerful song cos it's so honest and real and conveys the struggle many Men go through even if it's not relating to a custardy battle. Great work guys keep up the RUclips channel your both brilliant 😎👍
You have Metal Head's who revolve their world on only listening to Metal and if you listen to any other music besides METAL you're a poser. Especially the young hardcore death metal fans. Their minds will change as they get older. As they come to realization of even the hardest, darkest bands listen to everything but Metal. The greatest thing about being a Metal Head is our unbiased taste in music. Thanks to my big brothers I grew up loving Metal. They had everything playing from Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Peter Frampton, Boston, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Ted Nugent, Elton John with his crazy album covers (Mr. FANTASTIC) to George Benson, Earth Wind and Fire, Santana, SOS Band, George Clinton. Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax Megadeth arrived much later. I chose to listen and I chose to love those bands cause it's great music. I once saw a comment where a kid said Eddie Van Halen had no right to be categorized as on of the greatest Metal guitarist. He is all metal. Put it this way if Metal had parents or grandparents......Eddie would be grandpa. My brother said it the best....Metal is great music but not all great music is Metal. But hell what does this 44 year old lady know about Metal??? Con Mucho Respecto y Amor!!! Love ya Guys!!!
Deborah Arellano....you are absolutely right!!! The metal came from the heavy....came from the hard...came from the rock....and back and back....jams is jams yo
I just came across you guys a couple of weeks ago and have been hooked on your show! You have s great chemistry together and to see two black dudes (no racism in any way meant by that) listen to and comment on rock, Metal, country etc which is not what you’ve spent most of your life listening to and to be so open minded and objective is too cool! George, I’m a big fan of and very knowledgeable of almost all rock and country and your interpretations of what these songs are about is so often spot on and to not know the songs or the artists real well, that’s pretty amazing! Also, it amazes me how you guys pick up on certain vocalists, guitarists, drummers and bass players and comment how they carry the song or just their pure talent and in most cases that specific member or members are who the band is really know for. Watching you guys is a blast, sometimes I laugh my ass off with you, other times I just love hearing your opinions. Love the whole free thinkers thing too! Keep up the good work!
You should check out Sevendust. I would recommend starting with a song called Angels Son. You guys would definitely like it, and the singer Lajon Witherspoon is amazing!
Ammon Mortimer I totally agree. You guys really do need to check out sevendust. Great singer and they are both aggressive and melodic at the same time. Check them out.
Yes you guys really have to hear Sevendust. Pretty much any song by them is incredible but to pick a song that showcases the Sevendust sound I recommend "Enemy", "Waffle", or "Unraveling ". Although "Angel's son" is a great ballad. Sevendust is the greatest melodic metal band ever imo. Please please do a video on Sevendust!
I think the best compliment I have ever received as a musician was when someone said, "I don't like the kind of music you play but I stayed to watch you because you're so good at it".
This song has special meaning to me. The summer my kids dad and I split, he took them to his home state for a few months. I was devastated. This song made me think of my daughters. I love this song
Yes I like this type of rock. We wanted anything but glam metal! Nirvana is the first band that opened up the change. Then Pearl Jam and soundgarden. TOOL is another band tat really took me to a different place with music and finally Chimaria. Full circle. With everything in between.
Recently discovered you guys and love your take on these songs. You’ve covered a ton of songs that I’ve loved for years and I really appreciate the way you listen to and break them down. Keep up the great work fellas!
I just saw POM in New Bedford. I hadnt listened to em for years. After seeing them live, i gained a new respect for em. Now I listen to all their albums quite frequently..just a real deal alt rock band. Blurry is one of the best mellow alt rock songs ever written, hands down!! Great review guys!!
I'd really like them to see the live show in Paris when they did "Drain You", probably my favorite song. Isn't Molly's Lips a cover? I could be mistaken.

I LOVE how music brings humans together by showing the humanity in each other.

Much love ! This song takes me back to my teens too
I'm a metal head and I love this song and this kind of music. Reminds me of my early childhood in the late 90's. Has a very distinct sound to it.
Couldn't agree more.
blake combs Yeah, dude... I feel like, “YEAH! Groove metal is the GOAT! Deathcore!” But then, this song kicks in, I’m like, “Welcome back to the harsh reality that at the same time is amazing as well” It’s like a welcome back home to me... Creed is awesome haha, I'm surprised LIV haven't reacted to them yet
They're sexy indeed.
I doubt im the only one requesting it but Alice in Chains- Nutshell. One of the most emotional and melancholic songs around.
ledgm108 you could really hear the pain in Layne’s voice in that song. Such a beautiful and sad song for sure.
ledgm108 I agree but Would to me is one of the greatest songs ever written. I’d take either and would also throw rotten apple or no excuses out as a suggestion but you could go off radio too and do junkhead or rain when I die. Got me wrong would be cool too. Fuck it, you just have to love the band and the catalogue
ledgm108 I love the cover by Staind.
Yes Please!!!!
ledgm108 - This is an awesome choice - one of my favorites of all time but I have to say...it’s a mood song. I’ve always felt that it was meant for me at a special time. The time of my choosing. Late late after all the other stuff is over...alone.
Blurry is a defining moment in my life. This song is amazing and to see someone react the same way as I did, is very cool.

1:50 LOOOOOL, after all this sadness in the news, this cheered me up, that's why i love this channel.
I grew up listening to slayer and megadeth but yeah I still like mellow, but still powerful, rocks songs. This one in particular gives me goosebumps.
This song brings me back to high school days. Damn I'm old.
Don't worry. You're still a young buck compared to some of us.
Control - Puddle Of Mudd. I first heard them, along with a lot of other bands because of wrestling. Control was the theme song for Survivor Series 2001. Music & wrestling have been two of my biggest passions for most of my life
I stay away- Alice in Chains

I'd prefer "Type," but "Cult" is great.
Imperfectly Great I
Johnny Cash did Nine Inch Nails song "Hurt". Like Trent Reznor said, " song belongs to Mr. Cash now". Your reactions are spot on...
Dennis Tyler Sevendust did it well too
Dennis Tyler it's as I'd he wrote that song for Johnny Cash
After doing Rusty Cage (Soundgarden) and being asked "Why the hell would you do a Rock song?" He replied "Good music is good music, no matter who wrote it" (may not be he exact words, but that's the gist of it.)
Seeing you guys growth is amazing honestly rooting for the both of you, would love you to show the UK some more love and react to wretch 32 and avelino fire in the booth 👏🏼

I Agree, Master of puppets is pulling my strings.
This song was in my top 10 all-time list.
Agree! On my playlist! 💞
You know it’s a great song when you start singing along
This song is still a jam. Very well put together and well composed. Not a big fan of the band personally, but y'all said metal fans contribute. Music is good as long as there's talent in making it. I think you guys should check out System of a Down. Chop Suey, Sugar, Toxicity....pretty much any of their songs really.
I love that haunting sound.
Excellent tune! Very touching. Destined to be a classic. People will be listening to this 30 years from now.
You guys may not realize this but your building bridges here...i find a lot of joy watching you two discover things that others found happiness in.
Thanks for doing this REACTION. I have never heard of this band. They have a good rhythm and flow...timeless style. Great job...
About the song from Songfacts:
Lead singer Wes Scantlin wrote this about his desire to be a good dad and hang with his kid.
This angered Scantlin's son's mother when she first heard it. She and Wes are separated. Scantlin claims that this song helped bring some issues into the open and improved their relationship.
That's interesting. I always heard it was about heroin addiction. He even mentions"heroin showed you where to turn; showed you when to run away".
I never knew that's what this song is about.
@@phuckaduck1977 the line is Everyone showed you where to to turn, showed you when to run away.
I met wesley 2012 he was cool he got his band to sign autographs for me and gave my girlfriends son a guitar pick and a signed drum stick it was pretty awesome
Im a metalheal and this song is one of my favourites. Been listening to it since 2001
This brings me back to my barely graduated out of high school days. Going to college. Hanging out with friends. Nice summer nights in Texas. Met my 1st loveand this sings reminds me a lot of him. Always will have a special place in my heart for him.
Ive been on this channel for 3 hours. I've laughed and cried and fallen in love with your guys
The song shows honesty, in the tune, in the lyrics, in the way Puddle of Mudd played it, just all around, it shows honesty. Honesty is timeless.
A pure expression of a real feeling. Sounds simple but it's apparently the hardest thing
Candlelbox - Far Behind will haunt you. In the best way.
This IS grunge, at least to me. It is very simplistic form of instrumentalization. Grunge was an (necessary, even??) answer to the 80s stadium rock, and to bands like Iron Maiden and Helloween, which has got more dynamic and very epic sound to them.
Anyhow... You guys are authentic as h'''' - and that's why I can "feel you" ;)
Standard recommendation: Epic, elite produced, sound: Wintersun "Sons of Winter and Stars", and Insomnium "While She Sleeps" - both really popular (metal) reaction songs, just saying... ;)
ControllerOfMinds post grunge
You guys are amazing!!! I've always loved music, but never really broke a song down the way y'all do. It puts a deeper understanding to each song and appreciate how and why these songs are made. Keep up the good work!
I like this song. This band rocks. I like rock and metal. This song is cool, it rocks. It’s a moody rockin’ ballad with great expressive melody.
Love this song! Classic!
The song is about his son (and his son was in the video) but I think the chorus is to his sons mother?
"Can you take it all away, this pain you gave to me..."
You'll love Hoobastank the reason - if you haven't already done it x
This is a great song!
Please react to TOOL. Do Lateralus, Reflection, Prison Sex, H. Look at lyrics.
Do some edm too please, like Odesza
A lot of good suggestions in your comments. A band that has a lot of the things that you guys point out your videos that you like is Helmet, their music is really riff centered, a loud ass snare drum and easy to understand lyrics. “Unsung” is a great song from them that I hope you guys will one day get to if you continue on with these reactions. They’re one of my favorite bands so it’s always cool to see peoples reaction to them given how they’re not an extremely popular band (they were supposed to be the next big thing like Nirvana was). Keep up the good content and always expand your mind
Sworned hell yeah! What a great band
Dave Goldsmith one of my favorites \m/
React to "Best Freestyle of the Year: King Los Kills the 5 Fingers of Death"
Best ever freestyle hands down.
Greetings from Croatia, love your videos.
Zero - Smashing Pumpkins
I just watched 10 videos straight! Your guys love for music is awesome. Much love guys!!!
One of the best songs I’ve ever heard. Such passion and heart.
This is one of the songs that got me into metal and rock hardcore!! This is my childhood!
wow one of my favorite songs ever and I love all rock and metal, so powerful for me. great video!!
I love Puddle of Mudd. If you haven’t already, listen to Control by them! Good song. I saw them in concert like 8 years ago too.
Maria Hernandez Control is awesome listen to Time Flies
Judas Priest - PAINKILLER. Also my deepest condolences to the people in USA, greetings from México.
Yes. This! Must review!
I've been posting about this since I got turned on to the channel!! Judas Priest - PAINKILLER IS metal!!! Please guys, do it!!!
Noticing your profile picture it's a shame they'll never react to 2112 because it's waaaaay too long lol
I really got into enemy by sevendust.
The first album from sevendust in my opinion is the best album they have.
+Justin Quinton oh and Sevendust album "Seasons" is phenomenal.
Guys reacting to blurry, dig and digital bath? Never pressed the fking sub button so fast!
Slipknot - Killpop. It has a really dope beat and sound with some killer transitions
Slipknot - Psychosocial would be right up your alley
Yes I like this type of rock. We wanted anything but glam metal! Nirvana is the first band that opened up the change. Then Pearl Jam and soundgarden. TOOL is another band tat really took me to a different place with music and finally Chimaria. Full circle. With everything in between.
I always thought “blurry” was about the tears welling up in his eyes, singing about the sentiment behind the song
Recently discovered you guys and love your take on these songs. You’ve covered a ton of songs that I’ve loved for years and I really appreciate the way you listen to and break them down. Keep up the great work fellas!
Man I love it when yall just start head boppin and feeling the music Check out 311 - beautiful disaster great song chill vibe.
This is ludachris's favorite rock song.
Yes sir!
Wow
The song is honestly fantastic
Sir you have that spot on- the melody is what grabs you and this song gives me goosebumps- great reaction and both of you are the sh**! Thank you
Puddle of Mudd opened for someone I saw. Had not heard of them because they had just formed. I was very happy during their set! Sounded great live!
So? You like transitions, do ya?
Radiohead: Paranoid Android
Living Colour - love rears it’s ugly head. Songs pretty dope I think you guys would like it.
Decent rock song. Catchy and simple. Watch Devin Townsned, either Deadhead or Kingdom.
Love your reviews guys. You are insightful, eloquent and bring a fresh interpretation to ALL of these songs. Much respect my dudes.
Wouldn't mind seeing you guys reacting to a Nirvana song that you haven't heard before. Something like "Sappy" maybe?
GHOST101010101 or Lithium
joshi438 Any Nirvana song really, I'd like to see them hear one they probably haven't before though.
Something in the Way
GHOST101010101 Molly's lips or Floyd the Barber? Maybe even Big Cheese.
I'd really like them to see the live show in Paris when they did "Drain You", probably my favorite song. Isn't Molly's Lips a cover? I could be mistaken.
