@@PozzaPizzThe ultimate driving simulator? Something even Test Drive has failed to live up to. Let’s hope there’s a game mode in there with missions and DLC.
It's like they've taken all the things we loved about the original Assetto Corsa and doubled down on it... sensible if you think about it! I feel like this will be an ode to car culture... I'm ready!
GT7 really need to go to PC to match (Compliment?) AC Evo. We need PC driving/racing sim with amazing graphics and car selection. AC was great, but the engine sound model is quite dated.
You clearly haven't played iracing. I went from slightly modded to not modded AC race servers to iracing because I got 1 year for 7 dollars and it by far has the worst engine sounds in a car focused game lmao.
@@authenticNL2 The system requirements on steam page makes me kinda optimistic. Also VR being a priority to a degree suggests good optimization, since VR is so heavy to run generally. I bet they dont want another ACC situation.
hopew they copy things from content manager, server browser like that is great, is what makes ac playable, simple modding hope they keep that, the only thing they should do to hold its public is keeping the things that make assetto corsa (not competizione) being alive in 2024, ac currently with modding and dedicated servers is future proof
I can forego the modding scene for now if this is all propietary engine, but I want to see at least one Japanese car to represent the country (I see hope with the Hyundai ofc). Also, I'd like to see one Cup car being represented, like the MX-5 Cup, the Clio Cup car, or the BMW M2 CS, then heavily promote the car as the go-to for rookies.
Well, the AC devs are Italian so they are biased towards Italian cars like how the Gran Turismo devs are biased towards Japanese cars because they are a Japanese studio. I actually have a bad feeling that they might add Japanese cars through DLC if the base game doesn't come with any.
Super excited for EVO because the previous two installments are exceptional games. Hard to ignore the elephant in the room though, "early access"... Hope the cash from the early access release doesn't fizzle out before the game delivers what is promised.
I just want good physics and tons of cars with good sound, nothing else. I really don't know how anything can beat assetto corsa mods right now, I feel like I will play that forever.
If there is no modding it will be a tragedy. We need that in this game. We basically only have AC that is moddable. I know you can is AMS2 but it's such a faff to do it's not worth it
Happy to see the rain and the day/night cycle. The cars and tracks so far look fantastic. Hoping for good AI, a continuation of great mod support, and if we could have good AI support on ovals as well, that would be splendid please.
Publicly traded company launching a title a month before the end of the fiscal year to boost revenue. That is why this date was chosen. I have been burnt too many times with modern sequels, wait and see.
honestly i really don't think it will be an open world feature. It's not in the Kunos Philosofy, and it would be a waste or resources that could have been spent somewhere else to improve the quality. I think they just added more ''stage'' like the Trento-Bondone. More variagated and detailed, taking inspiration by mods like touge (akina, usui, maze etc.) and shutoko, and probably even a trackday option implemented by default (at least i hope so). Maybe there will be option for street maps to have traffic. About mods 90% sure they will be implemented. I just cannot see how they won't...they know the principal strenght of assetto corsa were the mods and the modding community, otherwise assetto corsa wold have died after 3 years...i loved and still love and drive on the first assetto corsa, but lacked of many important things and features. I hope honestly for a more realistic and punitive damage model. I don't even pretend estetically, but at least the results of the crashes...assetto corsa competizione for example didn't make any sense, you can literally hit a wall at 270/280 km/h and still keep driving the car that will have some aero/suspension damage, so that you will drive slowly and with the wheel turned...but still driving. You cannot destroy the car. You cannot be forced to DNF, you can only choose that, and that is weird. I have great optimism for this title.
Who says it's not in their philosophy when Stefano always said he wanted to make an open world SIM ( ok he's not there now) and you can clearly see a car going in the opposite direction? That's not there by mistake.
If the PS5 version actually gets VR2 support, this will likely be my favorite game of all time. I love GT7 in VR2, but I really miss playing Assetto Corsa, which I am basically unable to play now as flat screen is just not good enough anymore for sim racing.
That looks amazing. Unfortunately, I don't see the world being healthy enough for people to get the opportunity to enjoy this game. I really hope I'm wrong cause that looks awesome.
AC would not a made it so long without the modding Community make no mistake and that’s why I’m holding off till I start seeing morning having access which I believe this time around they won’t personally I think it’s the moding that made it
I want to know more about multiplayer. I wish console players had something a bit more like iracing and even on pc, iracing is too expensive so would be nice to have a competitor with a large roster and good multiplayer system
It’s only a new AC with new ks engine improved a little bit then all csp improvements nothing more the graphics it similar at the most of users playing AC of this moment
i hope there are no mods, especially cars, i prefer cars with physics taken from the real cars data, than some ported model from gt7, forza or even other sims like acc with bs made up physics.
most likely, but it's fair to assume that the main focus will be on wheel driving just like the original AC. Remember, AC is a simulator first and game second

I already have been stupid enough to buy ACC without checking if it supported mods, and after few months on ACC i had to retrun to AC to get a real content. Won't do the same error twice 🙂
