    I love the intro! I always have so many expectations when I step onto the mat, and thanks for reminding me to stay light-hearted.

    this was amazing. I love the sliding technique! I also love that you remind us to be presented and not try to focus on where we think we should be...I need that reminder often

    Wow, I did this video as a day-after-leg-day stretch but I ended up finding out I'm a lot more flexible than I thought! I've been doing your yoga videos for 2 years now and never even attempted splits but I was able to do them to the full extent. So you're right, a little bit of stretching each day really does add up over time.

      That is SO awesome! I love when that realization happens whether it's with flexibility, strength, endurance, what have you! All the little daily efforts really add up!

    Candice I really appreciate your open and non-judgmental attitude. Bringing that attitude of play and acceptance to my practice is really important. Thanks for your gentle encouragement and clear directions.

    I really enjoyed this video! I especially liked switching between sides for the splits several times in a row. I've never done anything like that before. I feel so open now. Almost there for splits!

    I've done yoga split videos before, but yours is the best so far that I've done. I was definitely more comfortable doing splits. Thank you and keep up your progress.

    I am not too concerned with doing the splits but this felt amazing for my body bc I was so incredibly tight today. I feel much better now, thank you for uploading.

    This was so awesome for my hips and legs. It was crazy the difference in my cross legged position from the beginning compared to the end one. And one day, I shall be able to do the splits, darnit! I'll keep working at it. Thank you so much, Candace! ^_____^

      Yes you will! Keep working and you'll be splittin' before you know it!

    This is a wonderful sequence, Candace! I've been working on my splits for a few weeks now and it had begun to feel like a daily chore. This was a lot of fun and very affective! Felt delicious in the hips. Thanks for posting

    For some reason I have a really easy time with almost all of the moves, but when it comes to the actual splits I've been working for half a year without seeing progress! A month ago I strained my right hip flexor and I lost a lot of flexibility there. Yoga is a new approach for me so hopefully it helps my mind to realize that stretching is nice and relaxing, not scary!

    Say what? This was practice was so challenging that I almost stopped. But I continued! And although my splits are crooked I felt the stretch! Lean long muscles are coming along! Thank you for sharing this practice! Namaste.

    Really great practice. I had a little hip warm up with one of your other videos first then the splits. I feel so lop sided since my left knee injury and can't seem to get a good stretch in that inner thigh. Other side is great though!

    Great video, really informative. Sweeping the leg through from the down dog feels very clunky for me. Are they any other movements to practice that will help make the sweep more smooth (or link to another one of your videos that will help improve this)? Or is just a matter of spending more regular time practicing the sweep itself ? Seems like a hip tightness/flexibility issue. Thanks as always for the great instruction on your videos!

    • @yogabycandace
      @yogabycandace  8 лет назад

      There's definitely a trick to sweeping the leg through. This video will help you seamlessly step to the front: ruclips.net/video/h1hZeVs6RmE/видео.html and then after you're good with that, you'll just look to slide your leg through

    Could I improve the flexibiliy on my legs with this?... the back of my knees is ridiculously tight, I can't even touch my feet. The rest of my body has ok flexibility, but my legs are terrible... so the last part of this practice I just can't do. Does anyone know if there's a video to target legs? xoxo
