I've been doing this off and on for the past few weeks. I could definitely be more consistent BUT today I was able to go much farther in my straddle split than I ever had before! Its so exciting to actually start to see some progress!

I really like how much you focus on movement in stretching. Its pretty the only way I really get anywhere

Thank you for this practice, Candace. Straddle split has always been my weakness in gymnastics and I want to improve it. I think this sequence is a great way to do it and I will make sure to incorporate it more often in my practices! :D

So good! I feel better after those awesome stretches. I was tight as can be after my run and this alleviated the soreness and tightness 🌸🌷

I feel so much tension in my legs while in the straddle pose. Might be either medial hamstrings or inner thighs. I camea across this video and feel like this routine might help. I'll try to come back to it often.

This is great! Very helpful. I can do regular splits, but have always had like 4” to go with straddle spilts. This will help me for sure get there .😁Thx again! Namaste!

When do you think we should add this to a yoga sequence? After a brief warm up and before the sequence, or leaving it till the end?

I'd do it after a solid warm up and a few vinyasas :)

Just got a chance to do this one today. Straddle is a goal for this year so definitely need to keep this up. And love you and your openness...inside out pants and white crotch. 🤣

This I will utilize a couple times a week, thank you. 💜 Question, in gate pose, my teacher had us point our toes forward and you explain pointing toes more at an angle (even in your book). Are both correct, is there a different benefit to each? Just curious because I am still a little new. :) Thank you.

    No shortcuts! ❤️‍🩹
It’s painful to achieve 180 legs apart.
