    This is exactly what I needed and I'm excited to do it again! It was a tiny bit too fast for me because I love to really feel the stretch. I just slowed it down to .75x and it was perfect! Made her voice even more relaxing too :)

      Poses were good and I also agree the video in its original state is too fast and her voice over is not in sync with her actual poses. I felt rushed and always not in sync when she changed poses bc the voice and visual didn’t match up

    Loved this! I wish it would’ve been just a tad slower, but I had some serious shoulder pain after pushing too hard at the gym and this cured it immediately!

    Just wanted to thank you for the practice. Yoga really helps with my severe depression and doing it with you just makes it that much better because you have a calm soothing voice and go through the moves at a pace I can keep up with.

    I just got into yoga for stress relief and yours were the first and now only videos I use to practice yoga. Already after four days I feel way more flexible, less stressed and more mindful of my breathing and posture. My bulldog seems to enjoy watching, too :) As a dude, I think it is natural for me to have a little less flexibility, but hopefully that camel pose will be a reality one day. Great vids Canace, thanks!-Chris

    Thank you. You've helped a guy recovering from daily chest pain post surgery. I liked how the most difficult and painful exercise is last, otherwise it would've been demotivating to continue. One piece of feedback that I would suggest is putting in a couple extra neutral positions (child's pose, downward dog, etc.) in-between to allow a beginner to catch up on following your movement.

    • @yogabycandace
      @yogabycandace  7 лет назад +4

      Hey Alex, so glad to hear this was helpful to you!! There's a method to the madness. The reason we do the most challenging pose last is because hopefully, if I've done my job, I've warmed you up enough for the body to get into the pose safely. It's called the peak pose. :) I was taught in training not to do poses like child's in between deep backbends, as it can actually be really tough on the spine. Laying on the ground in savasana should be ok though between poses, but too much folding forward and backward can be tough on the spine. Hope that helps to clarify :)

    this is great, I have found your videos the best for my style as a beginner and all of your flows work so well. I have very poor/no arm strength for arm balances any advice. I have just managed to hold crow for 2 breaths but thats my best.

    • @yogabycandace
      @yogabycandace  10 лет назад

      Two breaths is a great start! With crow especially, it's important to have that core strength there, so while the arms are important, the real heroes are the abs. Try the core sequence on my blog www.yogabycandace.com (just search core sequence in the search bar on the right and it'll pop up). With practice, it'll all come together. :)

      Oh no. I hope you have a plan to get out of the call center as soon as you can. I used to work as a Call center agent and it wrecked me. I see this was from 2 years ago now. I'm sure you're out by now. I hope.

    I also recommend this video, I've been doing it for three years now every time i need it, as a pill or just for pleasure :) but three years ago i had a couple of benign breast lumps and all my lymph nodes between the neck and breast on both sides hurt a lot, and this yoga helped me both physically and psychologically in times of pain and anxiety.

      Did they reduce in size?

      Sraddha Rakshit yes, already three years with no problems. But these nodes appear and disappear in time for different reasons, not in my case but in general. It’s good to check our breast at least once a year.
