    I love all the options you provided for our feet while in a straddle.

    I'm super tight in the hips. This practice was perfect. I also loved the pacing that allowed me to take the time to do this well. Thank you Candace. Namaste.

    I love how much time you spend on each of the postures in this video. Helps me to unhurriedly explore each stretch, and after months of warehouse work necessitated by the quarantine gigging environment, my low back really appreciated it!

    Wow, this was one of the most uncomfortable yoga practice I’ve ever done. It’s not a bad thing. It just made me realize that I tend to neglect hip opening practices, because of how uncomfortable it makes me feel. I’m going to follow your advice, and keep practicing since the poses we hate the most are the poses we need to do while staying in a pain-free zone. Thank you for this practice, Candace. Namasté!

    This was a disciplining practice that made me feel very good after completing it, when I haven't been motivated enough to do longer videos lately.

    I am normally pretty flexible through my hips but have been experiencing a lot of tightness and tension due to some dancing I was recently doing where I didn't warm up properly- this practice really helped me get in touch with where I am with my flexibility currently and helped me to be okay with that and not feel frustrated. Thank you!

    Thank you Candace! This is day 3 of a training with terrible hotel ballroom chairs and my legs and back have not been happy. This definitely helped

    Really enjoyed this session. I started with the sun salutations on your channel and the breathing exercise and ended with this. I feel very relaxed. My body has not felt so free of tension for quite some time. Thank you.

    Great video! I remember a few years ago you made a comment about badakonasana in one of your videos that made the pose finally make sense to me. You said to imagine you knees have little fingers and are reaching downwards and outwards towards the ground. Now whenever I do badakonasana I always picture that! Not sure why that comment stuck with me!

    • @yogabycandace
      @yogabycandace  6 лет назад

      YES! I allllways think of that every time I do it, too! Funny what sticks with us and what we forget (like where'd I put my stupid car keys!? Who knows, but I know my knees have fingers haha)

    Hi! Doing the part A of the pigeon pose I kind of still feel like I'm stretching the front leg instead of the back one. Do you have any tips? Thank you!!
    I love your practices!!

    Thank you I love you vedios the most. I have one question, I feel most of the stretches in my back and spine, is that wrong? Should the back be straight or slightly curved ?

    • @yogabycandace
      @yogabycandace  6 лет назад

      No, that's ok to feel it in your back. Whenever you're leaning in a forward fold, just try to melt your belly to your thighs, and then you'll feel it more in your hamstrings.

    Hi Candace, I'll admit I haven't stretched as often as I would like. When in that pose with one leg to the right and one leg to the left, I do feel something behind my knees now. It feels like a muscle is being stretched too far. Is that dangerous and is it because my hamstrings are too tight now?

    • @yogabycandace
      @yogabycandace  6 лет назад +1

      If it feels too far, it's too far. Take a tiny microbend in your knees to help relieve pressure. Or come out of it completely for a few breaths and then go back into it. Discomfort is ok, pain is not.

    • @katarinaelizabeth1099
      @katarinaelizabeth1099 6 лет назад

      Ok, thank you Candace! I will be more aware of what discomfort and pain is.

  • @KerriKahn
    @KerriKahn 6 лет назад +1

    OK, so I can do badakonasana with my feet almost to my pelvis and knees wide open (almost to the floor) and I'm fine. But something about wide legged forward fold really aggravates my inner thighs! From the tops all the way to my knees. What the heck? I know my hammies are tight, but would that cause that much tension in WLFF?

    • @yogabycandace
      @yogabycandace  6 лет назад

      yes tight hammies would DEF contribute to that irritation in the inner thighs. keep working on the hip opening :)

    I really wish this had been clearly marked as a beginner's video. I was looking forward to a solid hip opening practice, but I gave up half way through as there was too much talking and very few poses. I normally love your videos, but this one was not for me.

  • @elizahersh3402

    Too much talking in this one. Usually not an issue.

    Like. Your poses but too much talking not relaxing having to listen to your voice all the way through the class need some quiet time
