Yoga for Tight Hips

  • This 23 minute yoga practice is for my people with tight hips! If you're super super tight, I recommend practicing hip opening at least two to three times per week and you'll start to see improvement within 6-9 weeks for sure. Tight hips can contribute to low back pain, so it's really important to loosen up those tight hips! As always, listen to your body, move within a pain-free range, and take breaks as needed.

    I'm going to be honest: this made me angry. I was angry because my hips have always been so tight. Tight and uncomfortable and frustrating. Now that I sit at a cubicle for 9+hrs (I do overtime everyday now) my lower back and hips have a brand new recipe for disaster. I needed this. I was also angry because my body didnt bend and flow like yours. Why am I comparing myself to you? We dont know each other. We dont know eachother's struggles. But this was a reminder to get out of my head. This was like a sigh of relief. Thank you

    I really needed this today. I’ve been very tight because of work because I’m either sitting at a desk for long periods of time or standing....my body feels so much better. Thank you🙏🏼. Also really LOVE your podcasts...as I drive to and from work I listen to them and it’s so relaxing while I sit in traffic....your voice is just so calming! I look forward to my Monday morning commute now...

    I really like your videos. I wish you would add some type of calm sound in the background druing shavasana. That really helps me just relax and let go.

      I feel you! It's tough, right?! Just keep practicing - a little each day is better than a long yoga practice once in a while :)
