    I don’t have a lot of time for fitness. Most days I do 10 minutes of kettlebells and this sequence is the perfect short flow to end my workout.

    I woke up this morning with a sore neck, shoulder and headache then decided to do this video which I’ve always enjoyed. It has made me feel so much better and nearly all of my pain is gone. You are definitely one of my favourite yoga You Tubers ❤️

    Candace, you wonderful woman! I enjoy your classes so much. You have a lovely, calm demeanour and you explain everything so simply. I can't precisely put my finger on it but I think it is because it feels like your heart is in the right place with this and it comes through. Thank you! These 10 and 15 minute morning sessions have become part of my daily ritual :) Keep slaying it and keep doing it your way

      Thank you, Kate, what a beautiful thing to read at the end of a really long day. I know we are all so busy, but you taking the time to leave such feedback was much appreciated. Thank you.

    The benefits after such a short, simple yoga practice amazes me. Thank you for this! I have been struggling with tight hips and SI joint discomfort since I had my little boy almost 2 years ago. Sitting cross legged at the start of the workout I felt serious tightness but by the end of the video there was such a difference. I really enjoy your videos and get so much benefit out of practicing along. Thank you!!! :)

    I was lucky to be introduced to yoga 20 years ago by a teacher that was old, experienced, unpretentious, kind, humble and that had a life saving story behind his practice. Every session with him was basically the same and we would just go deeper and deeper into the poses 2 a week. He would introduce us to a new pose every class but the idea was to get deeper into the physical and beyond physical benefits of the poses he had set for us. You are the closest thing to that experience. I have stoped trying to attend classes in any studio because the teachers and poses change all the time and it feels like a simple and sweaty superficial workout with an unfelt use of the namaste and a parade of the latest yoga fashion. The fact that you have short sessions helps me to stick to my practice. As my old teacher would say...its better everyday short than once a week long in order to feel the benefits. Thank you Candace. You are a joy to follow. If you stop in Toronto I’d love to attend one of your class. Have a wonderful day.

      I feel the same about the length of these. I tend not to have time or want to do 30 to 40 minute sessions, but I will do 5 to 15 minutes a few times a day. And it helps!

    I did this one in the afternoon when I was feeling so down that my energy seems to have up and left me in the last few weeks and I have been unable to do the things I can normally do with ease. Made an appt for bloods because you know how you just KNOW that somethin ain’t right!?!?
    But on the plus side your book 📖 comes tomorrow in the mail 😝 and I won your giveaway.
    So many things to be grateful for 🌈💜

    I enjoy your quick morning routines. I would like to just point out that doing the practice in front of the wall looks cool. However you are positioned at the bottom of the screen and when the subtitles come on, I cannot see your legs. Perhaps the subtitles could be supertitles and go to the top. Just a thought....

    Firelog pose hurt a little less today compared to earlier this week. Does the moment of the day have an impact on tightness? Are people more opened at a certain moment of the day. I did this one in the morning and the other one at night and the other one felt way tighter! Thank you for this practice Candace! Namasté. P.S. I love the background in this lovely video!

    If one side is tighter than the other, is it the bottom or top leg in firelog that is attached to the tight hip? Thankk you for this practice and all your other wonderful ones as well.

    • @yogabycandace
      @yogabycandace  6 лет назад

      I think that's going to depend on what part is tight :)

    I have really tight hips, the firelock is impossible for me. Is this something to worry on? And will it change after practicing?

    • @yogabycandace
      @yogabycandace  6 лет назад

      Nah, don't worry about it, just keep incorporating a hip opening practice once or twice a week or whenever you have time. Over time, with consistent practice, you hips will open up.

      Usually if you do some activity first you'll be a tad looser than, say, first thing in the morning. So, for example, you would probably be slightly more loose at the end of the day :)
