It felt hard to coordinate myself at first, but I did feel something and it felt good :) I look forward to continuing this practice, its effects were especially noticeable at the end doing eagle arms, as normally that feels so tight for me, but this time it felt easier :)

Love your half hour YIN practice for grief and sadness for this as well. Play that one a lot even thought I'm not sad all the time hahaha. Would love more upper back yin or slow flows as well! Yes, Kassandra, the breathing exercise at the beginning is a good stretch through the shoulders and upper back. On some days--depending on what else I've been doing--it can put too much strain on the back of my neck, especially if I have been lifting weights beforehand. The shoulder flossing is great. Thanks for your work.

I’ve been struggling with my shoulders a lot lately, due to my desk job and lack of self-care. I saw this come up on my recommended videos and knew I had to do it. This felt amazing. /if/ I can keep myself accountable and continue moving, I’m sure this will help open up o some of my problem areas. Hard part is continuing to take care of myself. I either struggle to get up in the morning to get self-care items done, or I’m too exhausted after work.

I did this class with my partner-a wonderful class overall! Specifically for the breathing exercise at the beginning, he didn't feel anything and I felt a little, but not much. I get the sense that it's a more advanced stretch that only "works" if you are able to get the nuances right, which is difficult. Nevertheless, as someone who's used your classes almost daily for several years, I always appreciate you bringing new or creative poses and options to your channel!

Dear Kassandra, I have greatly benefitted from your sessions, largely Yin (to some extent vinayasa too) and deeply indebted to you. I have had shoulder and wrist mobility issues - your shoulder strengthening and yin for extremities sessions (each around 15 minutes) have helped me greatly. I can lift better now and almost pain free. I have been having a lot of pain around my Ankles. Especially in the night, I find it hard to fall asleep due to pain in both my ankles. May I request you to do an ankle mobility and strengthening session, whenever you can? Thank you so much for everything you do! Lots of love ❤

@yogawithkassandra that breathing exercise was intense for me! I practice yoga, cardio, and strength everyday. I also suffer from migraines due to a brain malformation/short protrusion called Chiari so I get medical Botox. Yesterday my doctor made a comment about the area between my neck and shoulder (mainly one side) was harder than usual and showed me a couple of stretches to try and work it out…after he deadened the area with the ‘tox. 🙃 anyway, I make a true effort to gain flexibility and was shocked when i laid down and my arms didn’t even touch the ground!! I think I spent the whole breathing exercise trying to fix my posture but it’s definitely the lack of flexibility there due to the tension I carry.
This was a huge eye opener as to my stress level compared to even 6 months ago, I’ll definitely be repeating this one, thank you!

This was terrific. Best after a day at the screen with hands on keyboard. The first breathing exercise was definitely intense but a great way to start. Thanks!

The breathing exercise really helped. From the very first stretch and breathing position, this video provided the perfect therapy sequence to bring release and relief for my shoulders.
