    Tip for you. Instead of beating the outside with a hammer to shock the ball joint taper loose, use an air hammer with a flat hammer tip. Works very fast.

    Very good video! no guy talking about his wife's grandmothers yard needing cut while 9 dogs are in the background barking while he's talking about nothing to do with the topic . thanks for the info

    Why no ball joint pickle or compressed air gun pickle? They work great on ball joints.

    Todo trabajo lleva torq?

  • @richardgriffith6633
    @richardgriffith6633 3 года назад +2

    Workshop manual: torque bottom ball joint to 44lb-ft, then top ball joint to 69lb-ft, retorque lower to 150lb-ft. My experience if you tighten top first it pulls the alignment sleeve down to far, causing the steering knuckle to be to tight. Good work.

    • @SemiWorkin
      @SemiWorkin  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for watching and commenting!! That makes sense haven't ever ran into that problem but I've never read the workshop manual either.

    • @drfox303
      @drfox303 Год назад

      Omg thank you I couldn’t figure out why one side was so tight to turn, I actually thought the alignment sleeve HAD to be all the way down! I see now the issue. Thank you!

    Lo unico que le falta a este mecanico es trabajar limpio, es decir antes de aflojar pernos y tuercas primero debe limpiar bien todas las piezas a aflojar, lavandolas y despues colocar algo de lubricante penetrante en los hilos y sopletear con aire comprimido antes de desarmar, luego hacer el cambio piezas y volver a linpiar sacando toda la tierra y polvo que tengas las piezas, y por ultimo repasar los apretes con herramienta de mano para asegurar un aprete 100%......en el video se ve que la pistola neumatica apreta muy poco
