I'm from the U.S. but live in Thailand, at 60 y/o I have been lifting weights for 38 years. Total fitness at any age consists of training for strength, endurance and flexibility, and a generally healthy diet is paramount.
I am confused about choosing foods that best suit my age, as our traditional foods like biryani, lassi, qorma, and fast food with bread seem to be impacting our health. I’m looking for nutritious and easy-to-prepare meal options that would be practical in Pakistan, as I live in Karachi. I appreciate your efforts to guide people toward longevity.
Thanks 👍. Traditional foods are okay, but proper diets like vegetables, fruits, proteins, carbohydrates are crucial for muscle growth and entire health. If you eat fast foods or biryani every day, it's dangerous for stomach health and more fat to your body. You feel tired, stressed, and angry. Hope you are followed by this concept. I just do burpee’s with a press up 3 sets … pyramid style ie 20,15,10 Last week of the month 10,15,20 Following month 10,15,20, Last week of the month 20,15,10 Mon to Friday only

50-40-30-20-10 of burpees,squats and sit ups I’m 54 and my time is 23 to 25 minutes with good form. I do this once a week,the other days I do several different workouts,mainly body weight.
Jogging....are squats, jumping jacks, roll into one...... walking all you can is the greatest all around fitness exercise anybody, any age, that you can do....find some long hills to walk up really gets your heart rate up.....when I jog I got several hills that are .4 to .7 miles long when I get to winded I walk a little and then start slow jog again...do a lot of decline push ups..
I’m 61+ now. Continuing my routine with Dumbbells is making my fingers dumb seriously impeding my passion with Keyboard. Hence, I stopped Dumbbells recently while doing Yoga and walk. Is there any way out, please advise somebody.🌿
Push ups are not good for the wrist ,especially the way they were demonstrated, need to be done on fists or use stands to keep wrist in line with hand.
1 push ups

3 jumping jacks
4 bicycling
5 squats ( body weight )

Plank is a beginner exercise. Once you can hold for 60 seconds it's time to move to a harder exercise.

Some of these exercises are not good for older people, best of best for older people is walking, brisk walk. Great for over all health for seniors
I'm 68 and trying sculpt my belly ,chest shoulders ,im doing it all in moderate portions . Old folks need muscle for health ,we still in the game
