Hi doctor Ennis, just discovered your videos. I have been suffering with back pain due to herniaded disc, with periformas or sciatica for years. Thank you for your explainations as to what causes the pain. These, together with the exercises will help me a lot. I will be starting tomorrow morning. Thank you.
It does do that what you say Kristie! It gives more energy than without doing these exercises, during the day. Thank you very much. Since almost 4 weeks I’m doing the morning and evening stretches and some other if I feel like to do these. I didn’t expect this, but I feel much better. Surprisingly do I sleep deeper and especially wake up with less pain in my back and neck. Get up with pleasure out of my bed, no matter what time it is; 4.30 or 6.30. Because I noticed the difference during the day whether I do or do not exercise in the morning. That's why I get up half an hour earlier on average so that I can still do the exercises before I get ready for work. Amazingly, it really works out for me! So thank you!!
Oh wow! I've been looking for some kind of stretch exercise before getting out of bed. I just did these, I can't tell you how great I feel. Thank you so much. God bless 🙌
I started watching your videos a year ago and they have been very helpful. I have dramatically improved my core strength and stability, hip mobility, etc. Thank you! keep making these videos!
Recently discovered you. Exactly what I need at 55. You made an interesting comment about not bending forward first this in the morning as this isn't good for the spine. I would be interested in how to warm up the spine safely and ensure my spine is mobile especially in that forward movement. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing these! I teach different variations of these exercises in my yoga classes. These are great for all ages. I have some old age students, and for them these are really good while waking up. I myself do some of these everyday. Highly recommend to anyone with stiff back, arthritis, anklyosing spondylitis.
Dear Dr Ennis, I really look forward to the videos you present us you're so knowledgeable and so fit and so pleasant. I like that you have these videos that are short skirts that can be done and I've just used this one this morning and it's wonderful. I'm 60 years old and I find that the simple stretches really agree with me I'm trying to work back up to more but in the meantime these are helping my body. I'm very very grateful to you for bringing these to us thank you
Thanks so much for this video, Kristie. I’m 76, and it seems like it takes me forever to get going in the morning. I’ve done this routine for 3 days straight now before getting up, and it really does help to jump start my body for the day ahead. Great stuff; thanks again! 👍
@@milestratchel5405 Dr. Ennis has received a number of quite inappropriate comments, rather lewd remarks that reference her clothes and appearance. And these comments have come from men, men clearly intent on trying to "shame" the good doctor, or men seeming to want to establish some greater relationship. I am moving forwards with your stretches and my Total Gym. You are the first youtube video I look at now. Thank you for your time and effort in this regard.

I’ve been looking for a routine to more quickly remove the muscle and back soreness I wake up with. It usually takes about 30 minutes of moving around to go away. I hope this will be a big help
Dear Dr. Christy, you are a fabulous , fit , beautifully toned representative for the work outs you teach. You are very inspiring, would you mind telling your fans what age you are? And at what age did you start exercises. Thanks
Thanks . I will also do these exercises once during the day and at the end of the day. Need as much mobility to keep my Sciatia as well as my piriformis from acting up (from herniated disk lower back). I sit most of the day at work ….
Sitting is definitely tough! I have a sciatica and piriformis video if you want to check those out too: ruclips.net/video/Guz5XS0cOkk/видео.html ruclips.net/video/7lntsHN0ezw/видео.html
Thanks Dr Kristie for yet another great video. Appreciate your time and knowledge. I am a subscriber and always give you a thumbs up!!! Thanks again for your help.
I do a lot more twisting and stretching in bed but I will incorporate those hip flexor exercises as well. Glad to hear is ok to hear snap, crackle and pop. Was worried about that. These vids are of great help. Thank you!
Well Kristie, it's Monday 7AM and I just finished this routine. I noticed a lot of stiffness mostly in what seemed to be my muscles and wasn't really flexible enough to do a full ten of each movement. Is that normal or should I discontinue these movements. Stretching my spine felt great but the other movements actually hurt a little.
Thanks for sharing a great routine. I can see the headboard on my bed isn't going to allow me to do any of those overhead stretches but will give the others a try. I've been trying to improve my Karate kicks for a long time now and only recently realized that tight muscles around the hip area were limiting my mobility. Can you please make a video tutorial of simple exercises to improve mobility and range of those muscles? Strength, joy and peace to you and yours 👊🏼✌🏼️
Perhaps you might consider reversing position so that your feet come to rest just a bit shy of your bed's headboard and your head is positioned at the end of your mattress. This would allow room to extend your arms back for a fuller stretch. Cheers
Hi Dr Kristie I really like your channel - Can you kindly give a routine to do when you have Sarcopenia. All aging women have it to a degree I would like to know what I could do to avoid getting full Osteoporois. Thank you!

Thank you again I find you much more helpful than paying $20 to go to a physical therapist that is doing some of the same things you are but accomplishing nothing but you have added much more activity to my routine so thank you I'm a big fan and I have faith in you so I've watched many people and I think you're one of the best in my opinion some of the exercises I can't do but I think that is because I got serious injuries thank you.
I’m sorry you are in so much pain:( but I’m glad to hear you are able to do some exercise! I do have some patients that have discomfort with the bridge. I tell them to make sure to keep the spine neutral and only lift slightly. If that doesn’t fix it, I have them stop.
