I am 62 and used to run track (waaaaayy back in high school 😂). I am a dog trainer so I am constantly moving all day. However I have noticed I’m really stiff in the morning and it was getting worse. So I found you (this video) on You Tube and I have been doing your “Morning stretch” routine for a few days and I must say from the 1st day I felt better and more energized!!! I was actually amazed how much more energy I have now!! I highly recommend these videos!! Thank you for posting! PLEASE don’t stop 😊

Jared, thank you! I’d been doing your 8 minute stretches for those not flexible for a week first thing in the morning, then, as if you read my mind, you released morning stretch. The only thing I miss are the bells to know when to change. Sometimes I am so deep into enjoyment of the stretch that I don’t listen as closely to your narrative as I should. Tone and tighten is the one exercise I look forward to, so thank you for creating these videos!

This my first time trying day starter stretching. It helped a lot. Thank you!

Gonna have to watch this a few times before I get a memorable routine. So one video is good for about 10 views. Good marketing.
Nice presentation! Short and concise. Nice tone with the narrative!

Is it more useful to stretch before a morning workout or after the workout?

I can do these stretches before a workout right? Because usually I work out in the mornings.

I’ve been doing a 15 min morning stretching routine based on many of your videos for the last several months. Do it while my coffee is brewing! It’s been life changing. Thank you.

I've been going through this routine for about a month now. My back feels better and my hamstrings are far more flexible.
    Thank you, Tone and Tighten!

    Hello Dr. Jared,
Great video thank you. I was wondering if you could give some stretch for people who have lumbar discectomy. I've been cleared to bend and twist but was wondering would it be ok to incorporate jump roping? or running? Thank you.

would this also work as a stretching routine if I did a 30 minute cardio workout after this in the morning or would I have to stretch more in addition?

I do enjoy your real time follow along videos. But at times I don’t feel I get the full seconds time because of watching You and then starting.

I think you should pause the timer or add a 15 second pause after each stretch, if one is new to the video half the duration is gone before I can even get into it and even if I know whats gonna happen some time to switch positions would be good
