    This customer came to us with a TJ on 35's and essentially NO lift kit at all. The only component they had added to boost the suspension was a small coil spring spacer, and the tires were rubbing the flares at every bump and turn! Follow along as we wrap this beautiful TJ in MetalCloak's fender flare and rocker guard kit, which coincidentally removes a lot of the rusted panels that you'll find on these Jeeps as well!

      So far so good, this Jeep doesn't really see much more than some beach time. Thanks!

    I have a 2003 TJ with factory fenders and currently have all metalcloak suspension and their 3.5" dual rate coils. I am wanting to get the same fenders as in your video but I already have a set of tub mounted rock sliders installed that are not metalcloak. I noticed the notch in their sliders and was wondering if I would have to notch mine the same as theirs to get them to fit.

      You will most likely need to modify your rock sliders a bit - not a big deal though!

    is the slider bolted into the frame or just held in place via threaded rivets? if so can that hold up to the abuse of actually “rock sliding” and lifting the vehicle?

      Do you do the replacement yourself or at a service center?

      They bolt into the body, they cannot mount to both the body and the frame. They are designed as a hi-lift jack point, so that should speak volumes to their ability to hold weight

    will it pass a safety inspection with the small marker and turn signals?

      Where I live the flares have to cover the tires too.

    Did you have to cut any of the metal work? I keep seeing people having to cut in to the jeep to do this?

    Any spacers. If not. What backspacing?

      It came in with these wheels already on, KMC only makes the Rockstar III in a 17" with -12mm offset but since we did not install the wheels or sell a spacer we don't have record of whether one was used

    Is it really on stock height/no lift?

    • @MountZionOffroad
      @MountZionOffroad  7 месяцев назад

      It had a small puck on top of the springs, everything else stock control arms, springs, track bars etc
