Thanks for sharing I have a tiny bit of lift and was concerned 33’s may not fit but this proves it will on my TJ till I get the proper amount of lift needed.
I've got a 2013 jeep wrangler sport 2 door and I just put on a set of 285 75 16 AT tires with no lift and they look great on my 13 jeep wrangler sport.
Greetings from Greece, I have a 2005 tj 2.4 6speed manual which came with 3.73 gears from the factory. I recently put a 3.25 rough country lift kit,3cm spacers and some 33/12.5/15 Cooper stt pro tires. So,I need to regear and I'm between 4.56 and 4.88 gears. Keeping in mind that's my daily but I use it in all terrains, what's the best selection I can do in your opinion and why? P.S I love your projects and videos, keep up the good work!!!
Greetings! What an awesome rig to have in Greece. Didn't realize they sold them with 373s abroad, must feel like a dog. I'd do 4.56, 4.88 may be too aggressive and give you bad freeway manners. Good thing is either way it will be better than the 373
I have a 2004 with a 2.4 and on 33's, I put in 4.88 gears and love them! Great off road and really great on the road! Quick in town and 70 mph on the highway no problem. My milage got a little better too.
I’ve been getting some tired quotes they say you can fit 33, 12.50R17 on a stock jeep wrangler because that’s the question I have for my jeep wrangler, but I did go to tire direct and they told me you don’t need a lift kit because I wanted to keep the stock I don’t wanna do no alterations but if I do, I’ll probably just get a 2.5
Make sure they're, like she said, "TWO OF THE SAME" measuring tapes. I used one good Stanley and a free Harbor Freight one, and they were off by 1/8th of an inch from each other!
@@Garagecouple I didn't notice until I remeasured after making tie-rod adjustments and things were suddenly backwards. Ultimately I used two "garbage" HF tapes since they matched each other, if not reality.
You always "set" a tape by adjusting the metal clip end slightly by bending that 1/8" out. Use a yard stick that doesn't change/stretch. Double check periodically.
How are you liking those Kanati's so far? I found a smoking deal on them in a 35x12.50r20 for my truck, and I'm really digging the look of them. I just can't find a lot of feedback on them.
@@Garagecouple Glad to hear it! I think I'll have to pull the trigger on them, they look sweet and I can't beat the price. I'm looking forward to the new video!
Y'all keep ruining TJs by adding flat fender and you are gonna keep driving up the cost of none fender delete TJs. Such a hideous modification and yet people keep doing. I'll never understand.
This is their project. They get to do what they like, not what you like. The good thing for you is that you do not have to "understand" it at all, "Maintenance Barn".

This rim lug pattern doesn’t fit on the 2018 JK does it?
Been eyeballing these tires for my pickup but there isnt many reviews yet. How are they so far?
Love em so fat
So far * quiet smooth good grip
Looks good, but would love to see that big cage/roof rack come off the outside
We love our garvin rack
The rims & tires look good
Thank you!
Nice!
I am install 99 Jeep TJ stock
285/70/17 Wheels Gladiator 5x5 and front tire running 🤦. What you recommended? Spacers? Size?

Just measure it out and go from there. 33s should be fine

They're all a little different! Even the same ones could be off a bit from QC issues lol

Hahahaha that made us laugh
Glad you fixed it!

Hello from Spokane WA!
Hi there!
Nice wheels
Thank you! From rocktrix!
I like those rims
We love them!
I have a 2001 4 cylinder tj. That thing can't be going freeway speeds with those tires'
It flies down the freeway with these tires. Yours must be an auto or have different gearing.

I would get them without hesitating! We have another set, we will show the install on tomorrow's episode

Are u selling the ones that came off?
We gave them away:)
Maybe dropping down the spare tire down a bit?
Love the location of our spare! Also allows out rear view camera visibility
MPG is now 4.
Actually, after about 500 miles I'm getting 16.5mpg
I just started watching your channel. You two do some cool videos, and Arlene is friggin hot. Good for you.

Guess what? We don't care what you like!
