      Thank you, that means a lot. I was pretty unsure about it all when I started making the videos but I feel like I'm finally getting the hang of it.
      I had also looked for install videos of these fenders and you are right. No one really actually showed the install. That's why I was so heartbroken when I lost all that footage. I put a lot of work into explaining it all then it was all gone. I'm glad people are still finding the video useful even with that.

    For the price of those they should come with detailed instructions and all new mounting hardware that is clearly labeled. They have to know that most of these jeeps are rusty and will need bolts replaced. Nice product but they def need to step up their game

    Thanks for this. I will be ordering a set soon. Going to 35s on 3.25 inches. I was wondering about going to 37s, but I was worried about going through ball joints in my front rubicon axle.
    I’ve already built up steering, brakes, axle shafts, etc. just waiting on tires and gears.
    I figured I would take it to the RTI ramp after install before making my final decision.

      @@WheelinWithWally no, I am on the east coast. SC. It is a 5000 mile round trip. But it has been a dream of mine since I was in high school. (20 yrs ago). @@zacharyelias4643 that's awesome man! I'm in Ohio so I feel your pain on the drive. I have done it once two years ago. It wasn't long after I got my jeep. Making that trip was kinda what inspired me to buy a jeep and start offroading. I took some videos on my channel of it but I wasn't thinking of them as RUclips content like I do now so they aren't great. It's the most fun I've ever had. I loved the road trip, I loved Colorado but man there is something so unique and beautiful about Utah. It made me want to move there. Probably be we are east coast guys and the landscape is just so alien to us but I loved it. I drove the TJ the entire way. As a matter of fact I am talking with a few buddies about going back again this year. Like you, the first time I went I thought it was a once in a lifetime trip but I could never get it out of my head and have been dying to go back.

    • @WheelinWithWally
      @WheelinWithWally  7 месяцев назад

      Possibly. It's not much worse than a factory fender I don't think. But I also have a louvered hood and used the vented side panels on the fenders instead of the solid ones. It wasn't much of a concern to me. My engine bay definitely isn't spotless but I don't really think it looks any dirtier than it would get before I swapped the fenders.

      The tires are 35" mickey Thompson baja boss m/t tires. I absolutely love these tires they are excellent. I'm trying to remember back to this video and I think I had 3.5" metalcloak springs on in the video. I have since swapped the rear springs to 4.5" springs. My heavy bumper and gear I'd load in the back was really squatting the jeep. So now I have 3.5" springs in the front and 4.5" in the rear. Both metalcloaks. In most of my video descriptions I have my whole jeep build listed. So if you check out my most recent video it has the current info on my build. I didn't put it in these videos because I was changing out so much stuff my build list was always changing.
