    Don't know why any expat would come to the Philippines and build a house that big? If you can build that on the Philippines you could of had that built in the U.S.

      I'm guessing you commented this prior to watching the entire video, as you could hear the wife's entire family live either within the house or all the homes surrounding. Should come as a shock to anyone family is a priority in the Philippines

      We couldn’t afford to build this in the US. Especially in a spot that’s overlooking the sea. We’re just factory workers and we saved and build while we are still working.

    More bad grammar: "....ON the sea...?" goodness! By the sea or near the sea or water.

      I’m not 💯% certain, as I’m American, but I think it could be correct or common anyway in British /English /UK grammar. Similar to “Stratford on Avon” or “Stratford upon Avon”.

    • @wintersojourn9356
      @wintersojourn9356 10 месяцев назад

      P.s. I didn’t even realize it was the title that contained the phrase. I thought it was said in vlog somewhere & I missed it. But as I returned to watch again more carefully & not rushed as in mirning, I noted the title. We also say in USA “she bought a cabin on the lake…or their house is on a secluded lake”. So it isn’t one of those Commonwealth /Canadian /UK things. ( It is so like me to think of Stratford on Avon though. Born to wrong era, I am. 😆)
