been loving the videos ... must confess i was wondering why you didnt remove upstars ceilings and joists and do as you suggested drop the steels and floor level but as you are living in the house your choice is now understandable ... you could still drop and chop the old stuff out and gain a few c.m on the ceiling height downstairs if you wanted ...
I would be ringing up and asking for % of your money back, poor service, poor communication and especially for the money you're paying, legit bang out of order, coming along very nicely! always look forward to seeing your next vids
Love the content mate! If you need electricians, we do high end Belgravia / Chelsea houses & flats so used to attention to detail. Me and colleague would love to have a beer with you guys if ever in the area one Friday!
OMG. How can some run company like this?! 🤦🏿♂️😂 Fortunately my steel is going to cost only just under £1.5k (3x 5.8m long) but I'm going to install it by myself... At least that's the plan 🤷🏼♂️😄
@@emmanuelopoku1875 I've just done my 2x 6m floor steel beams (152x152x30) I paid £1050 for steel and crane delivery. The driver put it into my loft through small hole (400x600) in my loft. I've installed steel by myself. It was signed off by building control already 🤷🏼♂️😎😄 Company is called STEELO. They are based in West London. They have cheap 19m crane delivery (£200 - £250) all prices include VAT. On thursday i expect another 6m, ridge beam (203x203x46) delivery.
@@plummetplum Span between the padstones is 5.5m, I've ordered 2x just under 6m (I think it was 5.8m). Everything according to the calculations of structural engineer 🤷🏼♂️😄
Great videos but i still don't see the point in having such a heavy beam rather than the flitch beams. Why could you not use wooden partition walls in top of them rather than brick?
Man the videos are so good I've been coming back daily for the next one. Inspiring with no bs, epic

What’s the ceiling height estimate for this loft room then guys ?
Hi mate! 2.5meter atm, but obviously will reduce with the buildup of floor and ceiling etc.
@@havesomevision that’s decent. Looking forward to seeing this on your channel.
Shocking. Thats why i do most stuff myself but sadly thats not always possible.
How old are you bro?
Name and shame!!!
